You Never Said Goodbye You never said I’m leaving, You never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, And only God knew why.

In life, I loved you dearly, In death, I love you still. In my heart, you hold a place, That no one could ever fill.

A million times I needed you, A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, You would never have died.

It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn’t go alone. For part of me went with you, The day God took you home.

~Acknowledgement ~

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so for, Whatever the part! Special thanks to CrossRoads Hospice and Palliative Care.

B abe, love, at first sight, is an understatement. God truly answered

my prayers when he sent me you. You were a gift that I was blessed with, an awesome provider, my best friend. Throughout the years I’ve watched you bless others, and in return, our family was blessed. Your faith in God and love for me never wavered, and for that reason alone I couldn’t ask for a better husband. I will always love you, Don.

My Hero

You held my hand When I was small You caught me when I fell You’re the hero of my childhood And my later years as well And every time I think of you. My heart still fills with pride Though I’ll always miss you Dad I know you’re by my side In laughter and in sorrow In sunshine and through the rain I know you’re watching over me Until we meet again ~Love your Daughters
