Life’s Reflections Donald Lee Richardson was born in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Signa Charles Richardson on June 16, 1948. He relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana, where his grandparents raised him. Donald accepted Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member at West Angeles Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Charles Blake in Los Angeles until relocating to Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife to retire. He enjoyed life to the fullest. His passion was singing R&B and Gospel. Donald was known for his singing group, “Donald Lee Richardson & The Executives,” with Soulville Records. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty years, Jacqueline Williams Richardson, two children, Michael and Michelle of Los Angeles, CA, nine siblings, three grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

If Tears Could Build A Stairway If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane. I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say “Goodbye”. You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to love you No one can ever know. But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more; To remember all the happy times life still has much in store. Since you’ll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today~ A hollowed place within my heart is where you’ll always stay.
