The Broken Chain
We did not know that night that God was going to call “Steek” name. In life, we loved you dearly; in death, we do the same. It breaks our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You’re always by our side.
Larry, Patricia, Karen, Marion, Debra, and Kenneth
Did it his way. Wonderful Brother I was proud to be his sibling. Great guy who loved to joke Heaven called him home. Take care, brother, you will be missed.

This Guy. Full of good spirit, whether it’s an “On Your Head” moment or simply that laugh you needed the entire week. Our Granddad, “Steek,” had a way with words. Words that linger still now, weeks after the transition, will remain forever in this family. You will be missed, Granddad, Marquis & Miyah
For the years we shared together you will truly be missed. You left us here with your footprints to carry on your legacy; we will never resist. We love you, Dwight “Steek” “Dad” Thomas. You can rest well now.

Dear Family, I will never abandon you as God said he will never abandon his people, and although we’re judged by our sin, God never stops loving us. Psalms 94:14. And I will never stop loving you and “That’s on Me, Baby.” as I was preparing my throne, God was preparing my home. And as I dance my way into The Golden Gates, like you know I will. Madear saying, “Stop Clowning Boy,” and Monda saying, “Get It Steek,” is good enough for me. Now, I will go prepare a place for you while listening to my favorite song, hoping my family is dancing along, knowing I made it home.
Love Steek
