to his late parents, Arthur & Willie Mae Fields. Hardy accepted Christ at an early age. He moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he worked & retired at General Motors.

New Zion Missionary Baptist Church

Hardy was called to preach in1970. In 1986 he was blessed to be the Pastor of St. Stephen’s Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan.

Hardy’s sunset was May 14, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Clark Fields & sister, Hutsean Townsel.

Hardy is survived by his brothers; Robert (Ruby), Samuel & Earl (Alfreda) Fields of Memphis, Tennessee, brother-in-law, Willie Townsel of Detroit, Michigan, sister, Jessie Mae Hill of Memphis, Tennessee. He also leaves his children, Vernell & Anita Noble of Arizona, Carleen Fields of Memphis, Tennessee & Jennifer Fields of Minneapolis, Minnesota, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three aunts, one uncle and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
