“I’m Free”

Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the close of day If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow

My life’s been full, I’ve savored much, Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch If my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief

Lift up your heart, rejoice with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ebonie Frazier, sisters Janiya Frazier, Jakiyah Frazier, Johnicka Barr, brother Jeremiah Frazier, grandmother Angela Frazier, grandfather Niles Halcolm, aunts Kelli Ellis (Lonnie), Shaneka Frazier, Angela Jackson, Cardiea Howell, uncles Niles Moore, Bradford Halcolm special cousins Shakirah Verges, Kaliyah Frazier, D,Mya Jennings, Demontray Jennings, stepfather Daris Thomas, step sisters Felecia Thomas, Karis Thomas, Dariana Thomas and a host of relatives and friends.

The first bible verse that he learned was John3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The Bible verse that he quoted to his family John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil;

cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow

all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
