Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me..... I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bent low. Remember the love that once we shared. Miss me - but let me go....
~Acknowledgement ~
When our load seems hard to bear, we look around, and our friends are there. You comforted us and shared our grief. Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair, perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest of words that any friends could say. Perhaps you were not here at all, but just thought of us this day. May God bless and keep you granting all relief. Our gratitude cannot be adequately expressed, but this is the best we can offer during this period of despair.

Jerome Charles Mason
was born in Minter City, Mississippi on September 14, 1951, to A.C. and Rosie Mason. “JC” as he was affectionally called by family and friends, knew our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and he had much love for his family. He was a hard-working Veteran and enjoyed spending time with family. Jerome loved music, traveling, telling his favorite jokes and most of all sharing stories about his time serving in the Vietnam’s War. “JC” was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2017. God said, “Son your time has come; it’s time to rest.” “JC” was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Rosie and A. C. Mason, a sister, Levone Mason, and a brother, William Mason. Jerome leaves to cherish his loving and precious memory: a wife Bobbie Jean; his three daughters, Kamilah Mason, Talisha Stevenson and Terica Stevenson; three sons, Kirk Mason, Jerome Mason Jr. and Tadarrius Mason; four sisters, Clara Mason, Denise West (Eugene), Sherry Mason and Sandra Mason; a brother, Rawlston Mason; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Revelations 21: 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
