~Expressions of Gratitude ~

God Saw You Getting Tired God saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped His arms around you, and whispered, “Come unto me.” You didn’t deserve what you went through, and so he gave you rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. So when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain. I could not wish you to come back, to suffer that all again.

The family of Lawrence Scott Holmes, Sr., gratefully acknowledge and thank each of you for the love expressed through your kind words of comfort, prayers, calls, and other acts of kindness during our time of bereavement. We offer a special thanks to his caregiver/ sister, Vivian Holmes, Baptist Desoto Cancer Center, Baptist Trinity Home Care and Hospice, Stern Cardiology Group, and his family and friends who were very supportive to him during his time of illness. ~The Family
