Waddell Smith
was a wonderful hardworking man born on April 30, 1930. He was a self-employed construction worker.
Leroy was a man of involvement and movement. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and part of the Mason Moonlight Lodge #163, Hiram Chapter #21 – Mt. Calvary Commandry #22, Eastern Star, Shriner Moolah Temple, and Wishful Master. He had a light and he indeed let it shine through each day of his life. He was also a Bounty Hunter Leroy was a man to enjoy life and leisure activities. He was a golfer and the Head Lifeguard at Tom Lee Park in earlier years of his life. He was well known in the “Smokey City” are of Memphis, Tennessee where he enjoyed hanging with neighborhood buddies and letting time pass with laughter with Alice Anderson, the owner of the Corn Beef House – Jackson Avenue. He will be missed by his step children, Pamela Traylor, Preston Traylor, Reginald Mickens, Theodore Mickens and Eddie Williams, his grandchildren, Chauncey, Jasmine, Tiffany, Cortlynn and Preston, Jr. a great grandchild, Ava Rhyan, and a host of other relatives and friends.
