Life’s Reflections
Our beloved Marquita Andrea Turner passed away peacefully January 9, 2025 at the age of 41. Known for her compassion, loyalty and radiant smile- let’s remember her this way. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
Marquita was a wonderful daughter, Mother, aunt, and sister who was always there whenever we needed her most, offering abundant support, wisdom, and love. A friend to many, she will forever be cherished, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.
We’ll remember Marquita’s (Keke) spirit as a beacon of unwavering friendship and immeasurable joy, which has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Marquita walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with unforgettable grace. To KNOW her was to LOVE her!
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Cordae Marion Elijah Tuner, and one daughter, Arionna Marion; her father, Timothy Turner, and Mother, Gloria Dukes (Larry); six sisters, Valarie Turner, Renesha & Tornesha Griffin, Jennifer Anderson (Marco), Anika & Audrea Dukes, three brothers, Maurice Thomas, Rashad (Ramona) & Brandon Dukes. A host of nieces and nephews also adored two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Marquita was predeceased in death by her brother Patrick Dewayne Turner (2017) (Stacey) and nephew Daeshun Dewayne Turner (2023)

If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.
