I watch you everyday I am always very near I know deep in your heart You realize I am here I watch you while you sleep In your bed at home I hear you when you speak to me When you are on your own You cannot understand The reason why I have gone But I will never leave you I am there to keep you strong Talk to me I hear you Though you may not see We share an unbroken bond That will always be Death won’t keep us apart FOR OUR LOVE IS FOREVER Just remember me in your heart And one day we will be together
Live Your Life And Live It Full Don’t waste a single day. Remember I am always with you Every step of the way.

“T
he Day God Took You Home” In tears, we saw you sinking, And watched you pass away. Our hearts were almost broken, We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain How could we wish you back with us, To suffer that again? It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God took you home. Love, Lamonte

“Come With Me”
THE BROKEN CHAIN
God saw you getting tired A cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you And whispered, “Come with Me.”
We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same.
With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay.
It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
A golden heart stopped beating Your tender hands at rest. God took you home to prove to us He only takes the best. Love, Nikki
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Love, Romana
Thank you for the gift of love, which will now shine on us from above. You shared a special bond with each of us; our troubles went away with your magic touch. As we say our goodbyes, know to us you were one of a kind. We find peace knowing that your love is not far because God has you in His keeping, and we have you in our hearts.
Your Grandchildren

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
A TIME TO BE BORN Mary Alice Tunstall-Snow was born April 21, 1951, to the late J. D. and Bernice Lewis Tunstall in the quaint town of Byhalia, Mississippi. The third child of eight children, Mary, was the FIRST daughter. This was the beginning of many FIRSTs in her lifetime. A TIME TO PLANT Mary professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at the age of twelve years old at the Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor “Gospel” Joe B. Williams. Her spiritual teachings were garnered in the Sunday School and Baptist Training Union, and she was a member and lead singer of the Choir Ministry – using her awesome contralto voice to sing God’s praises. Mary was a pioneer, serving as the First President of the Young Women’s Association (YWA) -- teaching young ladies how to become women of virtue based on principles of the Bible; one of the First Advisors of the Cherubim Chorus; and the First Director of the Greater New Shiloh Child Care Center. Her service led many a child to accept Christ and continue their life’s journey in the Will of God. Mary, a 1970 graduate, and majorette of Melrose High School, was a committed and dedicated “citizen” of the Orange Mound Community. She took pride in rooting for the Golden Wildcats in Melrose Stadium, fellowshipping with the many neighborhood churches, and patronizing the businesses of Orange Mound. Mary united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Arthur L. Snow, and enjoyed a lasting romance of twentynine years. In 1996, when Arthur became Pastor of Greater New Shiloh, Mary took on the role of the “ultimate” First Lady – serving with class, with grace, and with love. She embraced her calling and was passionate about reaching out to others, caring, loving, and nurturing all she touched. First Lady Mary Snow never changed. Her love for people resonated throughout her lifetime. She never met a stranger – knew people everywhere she went, and when walking into a room – she would illuminate that room with her presence. Her employment with Harrison’s Memorial Chapel, Inc., gave her added opportunity to serve others through the love of God. Mary was dedicated to God and her family. She lived by the words of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...” She didn’t mind sharing her blessings, and opened her home for many occasions -- birthday and slumber parties, baby and bridal showers; offered room to anyone in need; became caretaker for many relatives. She made herself available to do whatever she could for those she loved. Mary was always supportive and made you feel good about yourself – no matter the situation – and encouraged you to trust God. One of the great reminders she shared that is imprinted in our hearts is embossed on a pin she wore faithfully -- P. U. S. H. (Pray Until Something Happens)! A TIME TO PLUCK UP THAT WHICH IS PLANTED Mary was preceded in death by her parents, J. D. and Bernice Tunstall, and her husband, Pastor Arthur L. Snow. Thus, we believe the Good Lord needed that one special flower to enhance and beautify His Eternal Garden. On Thursday morning, November 5, 2020, God chose the best when He called Mary home. She leaves to celebrate her beautiful life: two daughters, Romana Natividad and Nakita Hunt (Eddie) of Memphis; a son, Lamonte Woods of Memphis; ten grandchildren: Jasmine Dennis, Eddie Hunt III (Rori), Kyunta’ Christon (Jeffrey), Alex Woods, DeArron Burnette, Brianna Patterson (Pastor Nicholas), Kiersten Hunt, Samora Woods, Ashley Woods, and Jordan Riley; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Laura McCracken, Angela Faulkner (Johnny), Janice Tunstall-Davis (Lonnie), and Adrienne Jackson (Marquee); three brothers: Robert Tunstall (Pamela), Eddie L. Tunstall, and Andrew Tunstall; two god-children, Jerica and Jeremy Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
