~Obituary ~

Michael ‘Bow’ Jackson was

born on November 21,

1952, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Ramelle Jackson. He was a product of the former Memphis City Schools, graduating from Melrose High School. He was later employed by Baptist Memorial Hospital and then went on to serve in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge. He accepted Christ at an early age at New Philadelphia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend B. T. Dumas. Although he was faced with many challenges with his health, he loved his music, family, and people in general. He brought joy to everyone he encountered with a very loving spirit. Those memories will be cherished forever. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Anita Stewart, two sons, Michael Stewart (Jonnia), and Mario Stewart, his stepmother, Verdell Jackson, four sisters, Hazel Jackson, Toni Ryans, Jacqueline Jackson, Shari Townsend(Tony), two brothers, Charles Jackson (Retha), Melvin Jackson (Charmae) and he also leaves ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
