“God’s Rose Garden” God looked around his garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face.
We. the family of the late Minola B. Daniel would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all her family, friends, & neighbors for your love and support. The kind expressions of sympathy, visits, prayers, flowers, phone calls, and thoughtful gestures were well received and for that we are thankful. He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone… For part of us went with you The day God called you home.

was born in Michigan City, Mississippi, on December 16, 1935, to the late Clifton Boyd and Eugenia Fields Smith. She departed this life and went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
Pastor Charles Miller Pastor
After growing up in Mississippi, Minola moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where she completed her education at Booker T. Washington High School. After which she became an employee of The Davis Furniture Company, where she worked for many years. Although Minola moved to Memphis, she continued as an active member of Everett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan City, Mississippi, often picking up relatives and friends to attend services with her. She had much love for her lifelong church home and was instrumental in fundraising and leading the building fund campaigns. Throughout her life, she was proven to be a loving mother, grandmother, caregiver, and friend. Minola was an avid gardener, woodworker, and enjoyed planning family events. One such event that she was proud of was the William-Fields Family Reunion that she organized and hosted annually. Minola was the life of the party in every setting! Her sense of humor will be memorable by all!
