L Tributes oving
Thank You, Lord, for Our Father, Son, Brother, Friend, Protector, My Brother’s Keeper, Security Patrol, Angel in the time of trouble, there aren’t enough words to build him any higher.
For Our Big Brother You showed us a lot of things, we learned a lot we didn’t know, but you forgot to teach us one last thing how to let you go. I can’t believe you were ready to go; sometimes, we have no choice. We genuinely miss your younger siblings hearing our names called by your voice before you were given to the sky. If God could grant us one last wish, We’d ask to say Goodbye; Love Always. You meant a lot to us. We could never LOve You less; We genuinely know it’s true when the Lord only takes the best.
~ Words of Gratitude ~
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Maybe you sent those beautiful flowers or prayed just while you were alone. Perhaps you spoke the kindest of words as any form there was. Whatever it was, we truly do thank you. ~The Nickerberry Family

The Broken Chain We didn’t know that day God was going to call your name In life we loved you dearly In death we do the same, It broke our hearts to lose you, you didn’t go alone for part of us went with you the day that God called you home, you left beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and although we cannot see you, you are always at one side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems to duplicate, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link together again soon.

Life’s Reflections
Odell Nickerberry, Jr.
was born in Memphis, TN, on May 15, 1951, to the late Elizabeth Kirk Nickerberry and Odell Nickerberry Sr. As a child, he gave his life to Christ and attended Columbus Baptist Church under the pastorship of Dr. Campbell. His mother brought her children up in the way they should go leaning and depending on the Lord. Our family migrated to Golden Leaf Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop LeAndre Hamblin, where we worshiped until God called him home. Later, we all joined Olivet Baptist Church under the great Kenneth T. Whalum, Sr. Odell attended Mitchell High School, where he graduated with honors in all subjects. He was very well trained in plumbing and electricity. His gifts were indeed a gift from God. He was always sweet, calm, and gentle when it came to our mother, a great son, amazing father, and the most incredible big brother ever. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Christopher Odell Nickerberry, and his daughter Panda Nickerberry, one grandchild. Two sisters Brenda Nickerberry and his baby sister Regina Washington and a host of other family and friends.

Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
