Mr. Ol iver Johnson was born September 9, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee to Gladys Mae Johnson and the late Richard Johnson. He was a 1965 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. After high school. August 19, 1965, Oliver enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country as an E4 Sgt. Oliver was Honorably Discharged in August of 1971. Oliver was employed with Baptist Hospital, then the VA Hospital of Memphis, and later the United State Postal Service until his retirement in 2016. He leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters Geordine Baker and Louise Johnson, three brothers; Edward Johnson, Ronald “Stevie” Johnson (Patricia), and Eugene Johnson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
