When I Must Leave You

by Helen Steiner Rice When I must leave you Feed not your lonliness For a little whileOn empty days, Please do not grieve But fill each waking hour And shed wild tears In useful ways, And hug your sorrow to you Reach out your hand Through the years, In comfort and in cheer But start out bravely And I in turn will comfort you With a gallant smile; And hold you near; And for my sake And never, never And for my name Be afraid to die Live on and do For I am waiting for you in the sky! All things the same,

The Broken Chain

-By Ron Tranmer --We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly ,in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Love Your Brothers

God’s Garden AUTHOR UNKNOWN God looked around his garden and he knew you were in pain found an empty place He knew that you would never get He then looked down upon the well on Earth again Earth and saw your tired face He put his arms around you and He saw the road was getting rough lifted you to rest and the hills too hard to climb With the help of his angels they flew He closed your weary eyelids and you to your heavenly place whispered “Peace be Thine” It broke our hearts to lose you but Gods garden must be beautiful, you didn’t go alone he always takes the best For part of us went with you the He knew you were suffering, day God called you home.
