Daddy, Heaven has received another angel, The night sky another star. Your life has become a loving memory. I know you will never be far. So, PawPaw Rod, I will say good-bye. I love and miss you with all my heart, And although it doesn’t seem real, I know we will never be too far apart.
AJ, Jr., and Serenity My Dad and Mentor
Growing up, I did not have my biological father in my life; that is when you stepped up as my dad, my mentor, and a helper. For that, I say thank you. I am who I am today because of you. How blessed I am to have someone like you to instill all my values and morals. I will always remember the fun times we had together; it was never a dull moment. You could not stand me wearing makeup and heels even though I did it anyway. We could not wait until football season so we could talk trash, and you would call my phone talking about “it is really, really important who won the game.” I just want you to know; I could not get on the bus without you saying something about the Cowboys losing. If nobody ate my unseasoned, burnt food, you would always eat it, and compliment it at that, lol! I am going to miss helping you work your cash app and anything else on the phone. I will miss fixing your food and all the good laughs we shared. I know God does not make any mistakes, and he will not put no more on you than you can bare. I am still going to be lit as always. I gotta turn up every day, and when I go to prom, graduate, get married and have children, you will always be in my heart! I love you so much; you will forever be missed.

Tribute To our Dad
We do not need a special day to bring you to our minds. The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. Each morning when we awake, we know that you are gone. And no one knows the heartache as we try to carry on. Our hearts still ache with sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill. In life, we loved you dearly; in death, we love you still. There will always be a heartache, and often a silent tear. But always a precious memory of the days when you were here. If tears would make a staircase, and heartaches make a lane, We’d walk the path to heaven and bring you home again. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Our family chain is broken now, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

In Memory of A Special Son It’s sometimes hard to know why some things happen as they do for so much joy and happiness was centered around you It seems so hard to comprehend that you’re no longer here but all the happy memories will help to keep you near You’re thought-about with pride, Son with each mention of your name death cannot change a single thing the love will still remain
Love Mom
A Much-Loved Brother The day that God called your name, It broke my heart in two. But Heaven needed an Angel, And the one he picked was you. I just wish he could have waited, And let you stay with me. But you have left memories in my heart, And that is where they will always be. I just wish I could rewind the clock, Or make it turn really slow. I could have hugged you one more time, Before you had to go. No matter how much time will pass, I will miss you every day. Keep shining bright in Heaven, So, you can light my way.
Your Beloved Brothers, Cedric and Greg
To Our Brother from Another Mother We called you that day. But no answer from your phone Little did we know, you were already gone. Did not sleep that night, no not at all. Lying there in shock after we got the call. We kept telling each other, this must be a dream. But reality set in, and I knew we had lost a member of our team. We had so many memories, too many to name. We know life goes on, but it will not be the same. So, we walk around with our heads held high. Doing our best not to break down and cry. We will truly miss you acting goofy and silly. Looking up on the sky, rolling your eyes, says, “Really.” There was only one of you. And there will never be another. We will truly miss you. Love, your brothers from another mother.

Remembering Our Friend You always had a smile to share A wonderful nature with warmth and care You will never be forgotten, because you were our special friend Thinking about you always, talking about you still, Because we hold you close within We wish we could bring you back from heaven To spend a day just to hear your voice and laughter Our hearts will visit happy times, as you truly will be missed And laughter will fill the air, as we all stop and reminisce Your memory will become a treasure, with which we will never part God has you in His keeping; we have you in our hearts.

A Note From Heaven
If I could write from Heaven, this is what I’d say... Please don’t miss me too much, I’m with you throughout your day. You may not see or hear me, but if you’re quiet and still, you may feel my presence because in Heaven, there is free will. Don’t worry for the day; it will come and go as planned, Enjoy each moment you are given, keep worry from your hand... Keep sorrow to a minimum, for if Heaven you could see... You’d know I’m safe and happy; moments in time are brief. Until we’ll be together again, as Eternity lasts forever.
