Life’s Reflections
Mrs. Sharon Denise Aldridge-Byrd was born December 20, 1974, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Willie James Stewart and Annette Aldridge. Sharon was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend to many people. Sharon confessed Christ as her personal savior at an early age at New Zion M.B. Church in Olive Branch; Ms. She went on to carry her faithful membership at World Overcomers Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Alton R. Williams.
Sharon’s dedication and commitment shone brightly in her academic and professional life. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1993, a testament to her hard work and perseverance. Sharon also found joy in simple pleasures, such as shopping, trying on new makeup/ lipstick, and spending quality time with her grandkids and loved ones.
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, GOD descended an angel from heaven to escort Sharon home to join her father, Willie James Stewart; her grandparents: James Lee Aldridge, Ora Mae Aldridge, Nathan Stewart, and Jessie Stewart.
Sharon’s life will never be forgotten, and her family will always cherish her memories. She leaves behind her husband, Edward O’Neil Byrd; four children: daughter, Antoniqua D. Aldridge, and three sons, DeUndrell M. Bell, Cortez D. Blocker, and Shamar D. Aldridge; six grandchildren, D’mya Bell, D’Kyriah Bell, DeUndrell Bell, Jr, Dakota Bell, Daijah Bell and Ayden D Randolph, three sisters; Catrina Aldridge, Adrian E. Aldridge and Earnestine Patterson, thirteen aunts, five uncles, two nieces, Tadaisha Adams and Tameria Adams, three nephews, Tadarrious Adams, Jontavious Aldridge and Javion Aldridge; Sharon’s longtime Best Friend, Evelyn Moore, and a host of other realitves and friends. We all share the same hope. We eagerly await the glorious day when we will be reunited with you in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalms 23
