Husband”
“In Loving Memory of a Very Special
When God was making husbands as far as I can see, He made a special soulmate especially for me. He made a perfect gentleman., compassionate and kind. With more love and affection that you could ever wish to find. He gave my darling husband a heart of solid gold, only my heart can hold. He was someone I could talk to that no one can replace He was someone I could laugh with till tears ran down my face. Next time we meet will be at Heaven’s door. When I see you standing there I won’t cry anymore. I will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face, Then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place. Miss You So Much
Love Always, Barbara
Until We Meet Again We think about you always, we think about you still, You have never been forgotten. And you never will We hold you close within our hearts And there you will remain, To walk and guide us through our lives, Until we meet again. Love, Your Children
I thought of you today,
but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake for which I’ll never part. God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart. Love Your Grandchildren
A Letter From Heaven When tomorrow starts without me And I’m not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn’t cry The way you did today; While thinking of the many things We didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me As much as I love you; And each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me, Don’t think we’re far apart For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.
Life’s Reflections T
.C. Thomas Jr., 67, was born on February 12, 1954 to the union of the late T.C. Thomas Sr. and Gloria Dean Jones Thomas of Memphis, TN. To this love filled union four sons and three daughters were born. T.C. was the first born child and was preceded in death by his brother and friend, Anthony Earl Thomas. T.C. and his siblings were raised in a Christian family of love and respect for each other and obedience to our Lord and savior. T.C. attended Chelsea Avenue Church of Christ and was added to the body of Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of Wolfchase Church of Christ. He talked and encouraged others by holding bible studies, talking and discussing Christ, and demonstrating his walk with the Lord. T.C. worked closely with the men of the church as they ensured God’s word and work was the focus in all that was done. Education was very important to him, and history and mathematics were favorites of his. As a child he read the entire set of encyclopedias as a pastime. He was a proud graduate of Manassas High School Class of 1972. T.C. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from LeMoyne Owen College. He followed his dad’s, T.C. Thomas, Sr., entrepreneur spirit and assumed the ownership of the family’s business, Thomas Janitorial Service. He also worked as a substitute teacher for the legendary Memphis City Schools. T.C. always left you with a smile on your face, and thinking, charming all with his dry humor. T.C. put things in order, God first, then family, but never himself. He was our gentle giant, our protector, our guardian. He leaves to cherish this memory his wife, Barbara Hudson Thomas, three children, Terrence Thomas, Candace Thomas, and Matthew Thomas(Kryston); two grandchildren, Cameron Weatherspoon, TerrenceAnthony Thomas; two brothers, Willie Thomas(Jackie), Marvin Thomas (Lori); three sisters, Phyllis Hudson (Oliver), Dr. Gloria Williams (Lonnie), Deborah Spight; three brothers-in-law, William Hudson (Mary), Charles Hudson (Alice), Dr. Rickey Hudson (Carol); two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Thomas, Rose Hudson, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. T.C will be missed greatly! The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

“A Broken Chain”
We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same.
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
