Ms. Vickie Demetria Kinner
was born on December 10, 1962, in Memphis, TN to the late Robert Lee Kinner and Inell Morrow Taylor. She was raised and nurtured by her grandparents, the late Robert Lee and Caree Harper Kinner in the close-knit Orange Mound community. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age while attending Pentecostal Temple COGIC in Memphis, TN. While raising her two children, she received her GED in 1988 and was last employed with Smith and Nephew in the Global Distribution Center as a packer. Vickie was a beautiful, calming, selfless, and nurturing woman that was the anchor her family. Relaxation consisted of spending time with family and friends, watching crime-solving TV shows, and socializing. Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising two beautiful children, that radiate the same loving spirit she had. Vickie peacefully transitioned to eternal life on Friday, December 21, 2018 leaving behind Kendrea Kinner (daughter), Christopher and LaTasha Kinner (son and daughter-in-law), Karteris Adams and Dominick Kinner (grandsons), and Karteris Adams Jr. (great-grandson), Warren Kinner (brother), Sharon Morrow and Tonya McGowan (sisters), and a host of relatives and friends to cherish her precious memories.
