Mr. Vinson Patrick De c e mb er 7, 1957 ~ June 4, 2022
Our lives are unfinished books which we are writing each day. However, Vinson wrote the final chapter of his life and quietly and gently closed the book. Vinson Patrick was born on December 7, 1957 to the late Alonzo Bean and Rozell Patrick in White Station. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the family’s church Mt. Zion M. B. Church in Piperton, TN. He graduated from Fayette Ware High School class of 1976 in Somerville, TN. He worked several jobs but spent most of his years employed at Cleo Wrap in Memphis, TN until he became ill and had to retire. Vinson was known as Big Daddy by his family who adored him very much. He was known as Butter Roll by his co-workers and associates. His favorite saying was, ”That Dog Ain’t Gonna Hunt.” Vinson had a very quiet spirit, a cool walk and he was a sharp dresser. He loved his mother and cared for her whom he often called (Rock). We all knew he loved us and we loved our Big Daddy. He is going to be missed tremendously. Vinson passed away quietly and peacefully at his home on June 4, 2022, after having a short talk with his mother. He was preceded in death by his father (Alonzo Bean), stepfather (Willie Waller), grandmother (Victoria Patrick Davis), grandfather (Eddie Hue Dodson), and his niece (Victoria Stigger). He leaves his mother Rozell Waller of Memphis, TN, two sons; Rico Patrick of Rossville, TN and Monte Hulbert of Red Bank, MS; three grandchildren MacKenzie Hulbert, Kennedy Hulbert and Kylee Patrick; five sisters Debra Smith (Charles), Orangetta Clark, and Teresa Franklin (Eddie), Diane Bean of Memphis, TN and Lisa Bean of Dallas, TX; two brothers Frankie Patrick (Luella) of Memphis, TN and Charles Waller (Brencilla) of Dallas, GA. He also leaves two step-sisters Bertha Waller and Burnette Winbush of Memphis, TN and one step-brother Willie McKinney of Memphis, TN; one aunt Mary Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and associates.
TO GOD BE ALL GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalms 23

“T
he Day God Took You Home” In tears, we saw you sinking, And watched you pass away. Our hearts were almost broken, We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain How could we wish you back with us, To suffer that again? It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God took you home. Love, Mother Rozell Waller

herished Memories
We are going to miss you! The link has been broken. It will not be the same when we visit mama knowing that you aren’t here with us. You had such a quiet spirit but we all knew that you loved us. We will miss talking and laughing with you, seeing you walk back and forth to the store for mama and sitting on the porch working your crossword puzzles. You were a very special person and you left us with great memories. Our hearts are broken; we wish you could have stayed but Heaven needed you. Although you are gone but you will always be in our hearts. We love you Big Daddy! Your Siblings, Frank, Debra, Orangetta, Charles and Teresa
THE BROKEN CHAIN We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Love, The Family
Thank you for the gift of love, which will now shine on us from above. You shared a special bond with each of us; our troubles went away with your magic touch. As we say our goodbyes, know to us you were one of a kind. We find peace knowing that your love is not far because God has you in His keeping, and we have you in our hearts.
Your Family
