There are those whose lives death cannot diminish. Their love radiates forever in the hearts of family and friends. We felt that love in your thoughtfulness and prayers. Thank you so much.

The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning That God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

Missing You Always
Immediately following Interment St. Augustine Catholic Church
You never said I’m leaving You never said goodbye, You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why. A million times I needed you A million times I cried, If love alone could have saved you You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still, In my heart I hold a place That only you can fill.

As a child, I emulated my father’s walk, talk, and natural physiological mechanics - especially his athletic ability. My father always shared his football skills and knowledge with me before and after the games. My father’s classmates, teammates, and people I met in passing expressed to me his talents, humbling character as a man, generosity and his love for Christ. During my collegiate football play in different cities, opposing coaches, and ex-professional players asked me after games if my father was Willie L. Tuggle.

herished Memories
Dad, as I reflect upon my growing years, my collegiate career, and the present, I realize that people helped me along my journey because of you and the principles for which you stood. I will make sure I instill the same foundation for my sons. Fourth quarter - Well Done. I am forever grateful. I will always love you and cherish your memory, Your son - Anthony
