Fairway Group director has raised over £3000 Business
Justine Wilkinson has raised over £3,000 for Fairway Group’s 2017 charity, Brig-YDon, by trekking up Africa’s highest mountain. She undertook the Mount Kilimanjaro challenge in August this year, which comprised of a 62km trek over 7 days to reach the peak at 19,340 feet. Her training schedule included numerous hikes along Jersey’s undulating cliff paths, cross training with an altitude mask and plenty of long walks ramping up her Fitbit steps whilst juggling a full-time job and motherhood.
MD, Louise Bracken-Smith said: “By completing this oncein-a-lifetime experience while raising money for a worthy cause, Justine has not only fulfilled a personal challenge but she has also demonstrated how our leadership culture helps us stand out from the crowd.” The money raised will go towards Brig-Y-Don’s running costs including the re-design of a gardening project at one of their children’s homes.
