Les Écréhous - Discover a Wild Beauty This group of reef islands, mid-way between Jersey and Normandy, is an international Ramsar wetland site. On this day-long trip, we take a stroll through the cluster of former fishermen's cabins and walk over huge shingle banks, sand bars and through rock pools to explore the history and nature of these outstanding islands. Date Specific Walks Walk with the stars at your feet As night descends and the ocean recedes, star like shapes of luminous green (bioluminescence) begin to twinkle and sparkle in a few special spots off the south east coast. Expect to get your feet wet -maybe up to the knees- as you discover and experience the uniqueness of this area. In just a few hours the ocean will return and cover your footprints by up to 40ft.
