The Boca Raton CHARITY REGISTER

Promise Kept… And It’s All Because of You!

More than 50 years ago, Gloria Drummond vowed to turn a personal tragedy into a triumph for the residents of Boca Raton. Through her tenacity, she sought community support to ensure the highest quality health care would be available in their own backyard. She kept that promise and in 1967, Boca Community Hospital opened its doors. Today, the community hospital is a preeminent regional health care facility that is growing even greater every day. Keeping the Promise… The Campaign for Boca Raton Regional Hospital, the largest expansion initiative in the history of the hospital, has surpassed its $250 million philanthropic goal toward $1 billion in overall reinvestments that includes a $660 million campus redevelopment plan. With the exponential growth in our area, we will continue to invest locally to meet the health care needs of our population. All made possible through the incredible generosity of the community.

Thank You... to the many Keeping the Promise donors!
