BRAND ANALYSIS

A hidden gem in the centre of Huddersfield serving home cooked food, tasty cuisines and until now, West Yorkshire’s best kept secret! New Owners, Olivia Drinkwater and Danny Shaw are passionate about delivering a superb dining experience to their customers sourcing the finest meats, vegetables and fresh fish from great local produce creating a range of dishes that are both delicious and filling. From mouth watering Butternut Squash Risotto with Wilted Greens and Parmesan Crisp to individual pies baked fresh and served with our highly prized ‘Thyme gravy’, the Bistro offers food that is honest, wholesome and moreish! Thyme Square welcomes customers throughout the day serving a wide selection of breakfast treats, lunchtime specials and our treasured ‘Afternoon Tea Thyme’ featuring a variety of fresh sandwiches, home-made scones, jam and delicate cakes. Whether sharing a glass of Prosecco with friends mid afternoon or attending one of our special evening Bistro events, the staff at Thyme Square work hard to ensure a relaxing, comfortable and unhurried atmosphere. As well as the Bistro, Olivia and Danny have plans this year to open ‘Thyme Square Deli’ adjacent to the Bistro, bringing a range of fresh and convenient deli foods to customers whilst ‘Thyme Square Catering’ offers a bespoke service of quality event catering. Thyme Square also offer a free delivery service to all city centre businesses bringing all the Bistro sandwich range straight to your door, those hungry workers unable to escape the office or shop. Working closely with a network of great, local companies who supply all our fish, meat and vegetables straight from the fields and sea to our door and onto our customers’ plates. The menu is infused with their passion for quality local produce, which runs across the menu from starters through to our desserts which are made fresh each day onsite or supplied by our fabulous cake specialists.

Successful Branding

Idea Concept

For the rebrand of Thyme Square I have chosen a Vintage Afternoon Tea concept. Thyme Square sells afternoon tea and I really like this aspect of the company so I hope to use this aspect, along with vintage style to help when giving Thyme Square a new look.
