Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program • Founded in 2010 by Past Governor Frank Morehouse • Inspired by a cancer patient named Penny • Penny suffered from brain cancer • Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program (KCCP) is dedicated to Penny’s memory
Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program • Thousands of children each year are diagnosed with cancer • Chances of surviving have tripled because of research • A cure for children’s cancer can help find a cure for adult cancer

The Eliminate Project Background Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Goal: Raise $110 million by 2015 Progress: As of December 29, 2011, the Eliminate Campaign has raised nearly $8 million in total funds pledged and paid.
The Eliminate Project What is it? MNT - an infectious, often fatal disease characterized by respiratory paralysis and tonic spasms and rigidity of the voluntary muscles. Neonatal tetanus kills one baby every nine minutes— nearly 60,000 newborn children every year US $1.80 saves or protects at least one life
