The President’s Message by Jeanette Sanders

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Cabaret Night. Aside from being a wonderful and elegant evening, it was a successful fundraiser. For those who missed it, be sure to put it on your calendars for next spring. The temple was truly transformed to resemble a metropolitan jazz cafe. The food, drinks and ambience were exquisite. The jazz quartet was sensational, and Sheera and Adam were wonderful. It was a great evening spent with our JFC family and guests. By the time this reaches you, our annual congregational meeting will be over and business for the upcoming fall will be under way. The office has sent out the dues statements for the 2010-2011 year. Next, we assemble and mail the high holiday packets. In order to receive a high holiday packet, you must be a member in good standing; in other words, current on your financial commitments to JFC. Please help our office efficiency by taking care of this promptly. Remember that the holidays are early this year. I hope to see you at SITGO (Shabbat in the great outdoors) which is a great time for families with young children to attend shabbat services in a relaxed and unrestrictive setting. We have a beautiful piece of property, and it us a great place for a Friday evening picnic dinner. These services feature a lot of music and singing. Please come and bring your friends and family. The summer is a time for rejuvenating and relaxing. Many of you will be traveling to visit family and/or see new places. Be safe, enjoy your travels, relax, and we will see you soon.

The Board of Trustees Is pleased to welcome its two newest members: Beth Tessler and Debra Verbeke
