The five days workshop is a collaborative project between 14 of Bartlett unit 22 and 15 veritas students. The students were split into divided into two groups to building 1:1scale prototype. The workshop design start point is bicycle wheel, the idea come from nanwan’s project, which is the roof of her project. The proposed design is to build a pavilion for people to have rest on the university ground.

The idea of timber frame was from the outside of the wheel. Two pieces timber frames were put together is to make the outer ring structure more stronger.

From the term 1 project to reflect workshop
750mm 1200mm The connection between core piece and timber frame is hard to accomplish. We need to use a different height to support it, so the steel rod could hock to the center piece and outer ring structure.
