Lausanne, the capital of the canton de Vaud, is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Also known as the “Olympic Capital” as it is the home of the International Olympic Committee and many international sporting institutions, Lausanne is well known for being young, cosmopolitan, vibrant and full of opportunities. Constantly reinventing itself, the city is a value-generating place to travel. Lausanne offers both high-quality culture and alternative scenes. It attracts enthusiastic sports fans as well as food lovers enchanted by some of the best chefs in the world. Lausanne also draws an equal amount of international students, businessmen and women as well as convention delegates from every corner of the world. The city is also known for its very relaxed environment, surrounded by the lake, the mountains and UNESCO Lavaux Vineyards Terraces. All this amounts to a unique “quality of life” that everyone can experience… like never before!
