On a seperate flat tray, place first layer of flat bread and top with a generous amount of cooked onions from step 4. Add more layers of bread and onions until onions are finished.

Ingredients

(Serves 4)

• Chicken pieces (deboned preferably) • 2 Tbsp. garam masala • 1/2 Tbsp. cumin seeds • 1/2 cup cream • 1/2 Tbsp. ghee or vegetable oil • Salt to taste • 3 tomatoes • 1 white onion • 3-4 cloves garlic • 6-7 pieces cashew • 1 Tbsp. red pepper powder • 1/2 Tbsp. tumeric powder • Butter (optional)

Directions

1.In a saucepan, semi-fry onions for one to two minutes.

2. Add diced tomatoes and cashew pieces and saute for two minutes.

3. Close the saucepan with a lid and let the contents simmer for five minutes.

4. Once the paste cools down, grind it in a mixer to a smooth paste.

5. In a deep fry pan, fry your garlic, ginger, and cumin seeds in oil/ghee.

6. Put garam masala, tumeric powder, and red pepper powder in the pan and cook for a minute.

7. Add the tomato paste and cook it for three to four minutes. (Add more water if the paste is too thick).

8. Add chicken pieces and stir the mix for two to three minutes.

9. Leave the mix to boil for five minutes.

10. Add heavy cream to the mix and let sit for a minute.
