JMarie Mag: How does it feel to work with highly recommended producers, entertainers, muscians, business owners and etc, who believe in your vision? QP: It's honestly a great feeling. It seems like it took awhile for someone to believe in what I do. Now I got everybody and their mamas wanting to work with me. JMarie Mag: What do you feel is your purpose to the industry? QP: I feel my purpose is to bring back real music. You know, that music you can dance to, cry to, ride to, pimp to, fuck to, etc... JMarie Mag: We as fans know that you, Quise, were grinding for a couple of years now, what is special about your energy now that made you feel like this is what the industry needs? QP: Confidence! I've came a long way when it comes to artistry. I know I can make a hit and have people love it. jMarie Mag: What can we expect from Quise in these next couple of quarters of 2017? QP: I'm dropping my EP, 'Frank Costello', this May. I got everybody waiting. I had 'em waiting for about a year. Apologies ya'll!. JMarie Mag: What can we expect from your productions? Any soundtracks, movies, tv shows etc.? QP:I'm on Hood Fame DVD's Mixtape and upcoming album. I got music on a short film called JOJO. It's a horror film shot by Devise Films. I also made a cameo. There is a lot more in the works. JMarie Mag: What motivates you as not only an artist but and entertainer? QP: My daughter. Everything I do is for her. She the reason I get up, the reason I grind hard. She's my legacy. I can't forget about the love I get from fans. It's overwhelming! They motivate me as well.

JMarie Mag: How did you get started? QP: I started in '96, the day after 2Pac died. I was like 12 and I remember some dude pulling up bangin' 'All Eyez On Me' album. When he got out of his car he was like, "This is the realest nigga to ever live and spit. Whoever can spit like this I'll give you twenty dollars." All I seen was the dollar signs so I started spitting. I was saying anything that made since but I got twenty bucks and he took me to a studio. Guess he thought I had potential. JMarie Mag: What separates your culture of music from the rest of the industry? QP: I"m bringing you all of me and music you can actually understand. There is no more artists outchea who really speaks the truth about life or their lives for that matter. Everybody is a trapper. That shit is played and garbage. JMarie Mag: What advice do you have as engineer to others who are trying to accomplish the goals that you have so far? QP: Make sure your business is right. This industry is 90% business and 10% talent. Make sure you cross all of your T's and dot all of your I's. If you are doing business with others, you gotta have agreements/contracts in writing as well. JMarie Mag: Can we expect any collaborations with other producers, artists, entertainers? QP: On the EP, I got my OG, Mr. Give 'Em Game (Hollywood), Mack Mone, Ray Rizzy, Cotton Mouf and Cincere as features. As far as producers, I got my big brotha Uno OnTha Beatz, PhantomPRO, and Famous MF. I got another project in the works and I got a plenty people I'm working with. JMarie Mag: What motivates you as an artist? Drea: I get motivated by life situations, different artist and all genres of music. I like to make people feel good when they hear my music. I create songs that have a good production and just make you move. I’m not the typical artist that follows the crowd. I’m kind of in my own when I create. You may hear a pop/dance track from me then you may hear a Reggae track, depending on what mood I’m in, that’s what I’m going to create. The energy that I give when performing engages my audience and want to have a good time! JMarie Mag: We as fans know that you, Drea Love, you are really grinding , what is special about your music made you feel like this is what the industry needs? Drea:My music is made to make you get up and dance and feel good. Myself and my team like to create music that’s appealing and positive. I like to have fun and I think you will be able to tell in my music. JMarie Mag: How does it feel to work with highly recommended producers, entertainers, muscians, business owners and etc, who believe in your vision? Drea: It’s awesome! It’s a great feeling when someone else believes in you and your business. When you have people like that around, it just gives me positive energy and makes me get better and better. When you have a strong backing, it allows me to trust in the decisions that I make music wise. JMarie Mag: What can we expect from Drea Love in these next couple of quarters of 2017? Drea: You can expect a lot of hot new music. I’m working with my producers on creating a sound that is all my own. I’ve also started getting into acting. I have recently done some work on the sets of Being Mary Jane and Survivor’s Remorse. We are working on creating a brand for myself. Many more things to come, just look out for those updates on my social media. JMarie Mag: Do you have any fears if so what are they? Drea: My fear is failure. It’s one thing if you want to do something and never try to make your dreams happen and it’s another when you work so hard at trying to accomplish your goals and fail at them. Right now I’m working hard at trying to achieve my goals and I just don’t want it to be all in vain.

JMarie Mag: What is your definition of success for the lane that you are in? Drea: Success to me is to have a goal in life on what you want to accomplish those plans, and finally achieve the goal. And my goal is to be able to stand o like my music and have that same feeling I have for the artist that I look up

JMarie Mag: What advice do you have as a singer to others who are trying to have so far? Drea: My advice would be just to just keep pushing and never give up. Surroun that will help build you up. Don’t ever let anybody tell you that you can’t do so may not like you or your music, it may not be for everybody and that’s ok. Y just know this is your craft and you have to believe in yourself to create and b that you are. Also, Iearn the business side, take care of your business, research deal with them. I say that because I have learned many lessons along my jou and trusting them to invest in you or even investing your own money. It’s just buy the first car you see without shopping around. Find out who you are d gotten scammed and it’s not a good feeling. Some people will say anything to g yourself with good people that are really trying to help you succeed.
