gastronomy

Tortas

Tortas are sandwiches made from Mexican bread, usually bolillos or teleras, and filled with whatever kind of filling you’d like. One famous type of torta comes from Jalisco and is filled with potato and chorizo and topped with cabbage, sour cream, and cheese.

Elotes & Esquites

Out mostly at night , elotes are corn skewered on a stick, then covered with mayonnaise, cheese, and chili while for esquites, the kernels is removed from the cob and cooked with chicken broth and epazote (a Mexican herb). The corn is served in a cup and topped with the same thing that goes on the elotes.

Quesadillas

Sharing the same principle as a taco they are recognizable by their longer tortillas. The usual guisados that fill a quesadilla are cooked mushrooms, chicken, or beef with red sauce, and potato with chorizo. And sometimes — but not always — cheese.

Tlacoyos

Tear-drop-shaped corn pods are usually made with blue corn dough. They come stuffed with fava bean, chicharrón (pork rind), or requeson (ricotta cheese). They cut the pod open and top it with onion, nopal (cactus), salsa, cream, and fresh cheese on top.

Tamales

One of the most popular breakfast street foods in Mexico. The inside of a tamale, known as the tamal, is made from corn masa (the flour used to make tortillas) wrapped around a filling. The tamal is then placed in a corn husk and steamed, making a soft, delicious snack.

R/P-NAUTA 151’

The foot sailing yacht that blends Speed with Elegance.

Sailing yachts embody human ingenuity and innovation, and the R/P-NAUTA 151’ Sailing Yacht, with its general conceptbyNautaDesign, isabeautifulexample.Theyacht was commissioned by a repeat client for whom Nauta Design had previously created a 34m (111-foot) sailing yacht based on a similar brief.

This 46-meter (151-foot) masterpiece was designed with both comfort for extended cruising and impressive speeds

for competitive racing in mind. Its sleek and modern exterior design features clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, making it a stunning addition to the Dutch builder's portfolio of large, tailor-made sailing yachts that have redefined the category.

Although carbon-fibre construction was considered early on in the project, the design team eventually opted for a combination of high-grade aluminium and carbon composite, which combine to create a lightweight and robust vessel. Spearheaded by Reichel/Pugh for naval architecture, the yacht's high-performance hull was developed with input from Caponnetto Hueber and Giorgio Provinciali, both renowned CFD specialists from the America's Cup. This design ensures faster sailing speeds and improved stability, even in rough seas, with the ability to reach nearly 18 knots using just 15 knots of breeze. Many elements of the yacht have been constructed in carbon composite, including the trunk of the keel, the

deckhouse, the guest cockpit and hardtop, all of which are being manufactured at Rondal. Rondal is also working on the yachts sail handling mechanisms, includingcarbonelectricwinchesand a Panamax carbon rig.

The exterior of the yacht boasts a deckhouse that integrates harmoniously with its sleek profile. The yacht features numerous outdoor lounging areas, including a vast aft beach club with a 32-foot transom that can be folded out to create a swim platform, and a guest cockpit shaded by a canopy, with a large dining table and comfortable sofas. On the foredeck, guests can find additional seating for sunset drinks, as well as room for a guest tender.

In conclusion, the R/P-NAUTA 151’ Sailing Yacht is a true masterpiece of bespoke yachting, combining elegant design, innovative technology, and exceptional performance. With its sleek lines, luxurious amenities, and impressive sailing capabilities, this yacht promises to offer a truly unforgettable sailing experience for its lucky owner and guests. We can't wait to see this stunning vessel in action on the open seas.
