Beautiful Darling (2009) Way before the politics of pronouns and acronyms, artist Andy Warhol gave this ethereal transgender beauty, a charismatic fixture of the NYC art scene, fifteen minutes of fame in two movies. Born Jimmy Slattery in Long Island, this loving documentary uses Darling’s sketches, letters, diaries and interviews with celebrities and friends to flesh out a fascinating story of this tender, tragic trans icon. Also available on DVD & iTunes.

Bonding In a world lusting for sex, and depravity, grad student Tiffany (Zoe Levin) moonlights as a dominatrix in New York. The real fun starts when she enlists the help of her slightly neurotic, super queer BFF Pete (Brendan Scannell) as her leatherboy sidekick. Season 2 of this comedy promises more freaky scenes and emotional tenderness than season 1. A “snackable” format of around 20 minutes per episode make this a breezy, kooky kinkfest to watch.
Framing Britney Spears #FreeBritney! You don’t have to be a fan of the pop superstar to see what happens when paparazzi, a greedy parent, and hordes of reporters working overtime does when it sucks the life out of a performer who’s also a real person. This documentary produced by The New York Times reveals the dark side of fame … and money. Chris Crocker was right: Leave Britney Alone! 36

T
his 25-year-old, 5’7”, 165 pound dynamo is the hottest tenderoni in online gay adult entertainment today. It’s Reno Gold. He posts a new professional image every day, a 15-minute video scene every week, plus every month he releases two scenes with other models (for an additional charge.) But wait! There’s more! He holds a monthly raffle where the winning prize is a twenty-minute custom video that the winner gets to direct. Got some cash laying around? You can get a one-on-one Skype with Reno for just $850. Here’s where the big money comes in: Reno Gold earns $100K per month from his OnlyFans account: 7,500 subscribers pay full price at $15 a month. This makes him one of the subscription service’s top 0.1% earners. That’s around $3,333 a day, or $138.88 every single hour. He recently made his first million and owns five condos in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he makes his home. “My life is an open book,” Reno laughs. “I talk too much!” On his YouTube channel he tells about having sex on a Ferris wheel in Paris, answers fans’ questions, conducts tutorials about male douching and manscaping, and he even documented himself getting “Scrotox” (That’s Botox in your scrotum to get rid of those pesky wrinkles.) He’s got 200K followers on Instagram, 198K on Twitter. Briefly suspended from YouTube, (oops!) but now he has 109 subscribers on his channel, plus the cash cow, OnlyFans. Reno’s “Gold diggers” (as he calls his fans) just can’t get enough. Find out why.

ION: Did you ever think you would end up where you are now? RG: Ever since I was young, in the back of my mind and once I knew what porn was, I knew I wanted to be in it, I just didn’t know how it was gonna happen. I didn’t think I’d be running my own subscription site; I thought I’d be working for a studio, but I’m so pleased that I took this route instead. In a way, yes. I saw this happening for me. ION: A fan asked you where you saw yourself in 20 years, you said, “Refusing to stop jerking off on OnlyFans. I refuse to stop! I’ll still posting plenty of hole pix and be an awesome dog dad. Even when I’m 80!” Has that changed? RG: It hasn’t changed! That was a funny answer—I’ll be posting sexy pics to the day I die, but I’m also investing in real estate now, so when no one’s buying my content anymore I’ll having something to fall back on. ION: You just had a birthday! Did you get lots of presents from fans? RG: No, this year I didn’t ask for any presents. I pledged to donate a week of my earnings to the Elton John AIDS foundation. From December 1-7 I raised $27,000 and I donated it all. I really wanted to give back this year. Normally, yes, I do get a lot of presents. A lot of people love me and I wanted to share that love and give back. It felt so much better than getting. I’m gonna start doing that every year on my birthday.
myself settling down with one person, but I’m not at that point in my life. I’m just not ready yet. ION: Do you get recognized much when you’re out? RG: Recently I’ve been recognized a lot more. People have been really respectful. They’ll come up, we’ll take a picture together, we’ll chat. It feels good. I like it. ION: Is it hard to separate “Reno Gold” from your real identity? RG: Honestly, no. I have such a good work/life balance. I don’t think I bring my persona into my personal life at all. ION: Do you ever have bad days when you don’t want to be Reno Gold? RG: There’s never a day where I don’t want to be ‘Reno Gold.’ I’m very happy doing what I’m doing. Sometimes I do get down, but it’s never because of my work; my work is what brings me back up. That’s what keeps me positive and motivated, because it completely changed my life. It’s never because I’m “Reno Gold.” Everyone has a bad day, but it’s never because of my work—I love my work. Who doesn’t like feeling sexy? I like to be creative and that’s what my work allows me to do. When I’m on camera, no, I’m never having a bad day—that’s when I’m happiest.

ION: Speaking of presents, I saw your Amazon Wish List. What’s up with the LOL Surprise Dolls? RG: I love them! They have tiny weeners, and they spit! There’s, like, a hundred layers that you have to unwrap. If you dip them in hot water, it reveals that they’re wearing lingerie. I have so many! They make me laugh! They’re the nastiest little dolls ever! I love it! ION: Is there a “Mr. Reno Gold” in your life? RG: No, I’m single. I have been for a very long time. I’m just very focused right now. outside the box, I shoot a new scene every week in a different location with a new scenario, and RenoGold.Studio— pay attention to that name, because I’m launching a studio soon. ION: You were kicked off TikTok with 150,000 followers. Why? RG: (Laughs) It’s true. I deserved it. I don’t play by the rules. You have to be very PG on TikTok—more so than YouTube. I kept getting banned for talking about my webcamming experiences. The final straw was a video with my mom telling everybody to please subscribe to my OnlyFans, and that got me deleted because it was a promotion issue. ION: Isn’t it strange having you parents seeing, uh, everything you do? RG: I’m so lucky that my parents are so supportive. At first they didn’t really like what I was doing, but when I became successful and started running it like a business and they saw how much it changed my life, they were totally on board. Not a lot of people have that, especially in this industry. I’m so successful because I have a good family base around me. But to answer your question: yeah, it’s weird! (Laughs) My mom saw a comment on my TikTok that said, ‘Look up ‘Reno Gold on PornHub.’ I don’t know why—but she looked it up, then she called me and said, “Sweetie, there’s a lot of stuff on there for free, shouldn’t you be getting paid for that?” and I was, like, “Mom, I posted it.” ION: She’s all about that coin, isn’t she? RG: (Laughs) She’s very sweet. She just wants me to be successful. ION: If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? RG: I would steal quarters from everyone’s pockets. They would all shoot out at me!
ION: I don’t have any quarters, but I have a whole roll of silver dollars in my pocket, baby. RG: Not for long! Follow Reno on Instagram @Reno_Gold, Twitter @Gold_Reno, OnlyFans Reno Gold™ and on his YouTube channel Reno Gold.

Mercury clashes with Mars over (what else?) money. Structure, boundaries and scheduling all change. It’s long overdue, so pay attention. TAURUS April. 21 - May 20 Everyone wants to be part of your inner-circle. Why? Because of your magnetic personality, thanks to Venus who flirts outrageously. The Sun encourages you to steal the spotlight. (Which you do, no prob.) GEMINI May 21 - June 21 Ask questions: What should I eat? Is anything good on Netflix? Is that a good book? Don’t draw any concrete conclusions for a while. Saturn and Jupiter give you their full support. Whatever you decide. CANCER June 22 - July 22 Want to add a little bit of “oomph!” to your personality? Mars can help you out with that. Venus and the Sun bring a few big changes to your social calendar. You can expect a bit of passion. 62

Venus is your bestie, and you’re basically a Flaming Hot Cheeto of Desire. SCORPIO Oct. 23 - Nov.23 Finding you spiritual center is a challenge. SAGITTARIUS Nov. 23 - Dec. 23 Saturn forms a tense connection with Uranus on Feb. 17. Okay, you can be kind of a know-it-all (we still love you), so you can expect to be schooled, snap! Look at you!” You’re a fabulous attention whore this month. AQUARIUS Jan. 21 - Feb. 19 You ain’t takin’ no shit because your sign hangs out with Mars. Expect sexy thrills, thanks to Venus. Birthday Water Bearers will gain new perspectives. Mercury Retrograde works for you, you social animal. Try something new. PISCES Feb. 20 - Mar. 20 You can thank Uranus for some ideas that border on genius. (Okay, that’s a stretch.) You have a creative project to concentrate on. Birthday fishies will find prophetic dreams and heavy duty intuition. Best of all, you’ll be right.
