Why fashion? I believe fashion allows creative expression of the inner self through a visual identi ty. I t is noticeable by an yone who sees you, whether in real life or through a photograph or video, and that makes i t one of the most largely available and striking means of expression. I would love to know I am helping others express who they are. As long as I can remember Ive been designing and making things. I designed a bag and jewellery range that I sold through a websi te and Etsy. I have also completed three one-week internships in pattern making and sewing in France, as well as a two week Graphic Design course in Boston, USA , learning Photoshop. I am currently organising to soon start a jewellery making internship wi th Alan Crocetti, in London. Regardless of the area you decide to specialize in, in an industry such as fashion I believe if you want to accomplish something great or even just be really good at what you do, you need to have a well-rounded knowledge of all the different practices i t entails, whether on the business side or on the creative side. This is why I aim to have as man y different experiences wi thin the business as I possibly can.
Promotional video THE BRIEF FOR THIS PROJECT WAS TO WORK IN A GROUP FROM A MACRO TREND FORECASTING AND WORK UP TO MAKING A PROMOTIONAL FILM LINKED TO I T. The trend was 'interactive progression', so we shot a lot of close-up clips to create an interaction aspect wi th the subjects, and the progression aspect has influenced the video through the use of neon colours, as a fu turistic approach as seen in the decors created for fu turistic films such as blade runner which we share a part of our colour palette wi th. We selected a UK streetwear/skateboarding brand named Palace. They're well known for using static/gli tch effect in their videos, as well as UK artists for music, which we have done.

double page spread The idea behind this course work was to source an interesting double page spread from a magazine and alter i t on photoshop, then present and explain our choice of spread and modification. I went wi th a florence and the machine double page. i enjoy the singer to start wi th, and when i saw i t in the magazine while enjoying the look of i t i did think something was missing, i didnt find i t had that perfect balance/presentation that magazine pages usually do. So i decided to add color and pattern in the form of a usa flag integrated inside the 'usa' lettering.
lookbook THE Styling lookbook project is defini tely one that got m y interest in the first few seconds. The idea is to source an emerging/up and coming london based designer and to get in contact wi th them in order to borrow i tems, then to style these i tems in a photoshoot that would evoke an art movement dated before the sixties. The brand i chose is called aoc, i t originated in reykjavik and is now present in reykjavik london and new-york. their clothing is exclusevely black and whi te. The art movement i went wi th is art deco. I am intending to style the clothes in sleek black and whi te looks, wi th sixties twiggy/doll eye make up, the hair tied up in two buns, and art deco backrgounds. I have a male and a female model and would like them to try very dance like, geometrical poses.
