Miller paints a visual collage that hearkens classic, elementpaperage,fastidiouslyadvertisements.compositionsReferencingrepresentations,phrases.fragmentsexcavateimage-saturatedfamiliariconicadvertisementsfromthe50’sand60’sutilizingbrandingcampaignsandslogans.Drawingonconsumerism,Miller’spaintingsthisimagerytoreappearasunreconstructedfoundthroughsigns,drips,patternsandTheseformthelayersofMiller’spopculturalbothliterallyandfiguratively.classictypefacesandcolorpalettes,theechothelookandfeelofprintMillerachievesthisimpressionbyandpainstakinglyre-creatingthelookofgrit,andtimethroughtheuseofpaint,collageandresinoncanvas,paintingeachvisualbyhand.
