Branding

Capstone and its alliance partner, C3B created two major branding campaigns to increase awareness, tourism and airlift from the Fort Smith Airport. Focus Group results showed

“Find yourself in Fort Smith� The community also had the need to be able to positively communicate to its stakeholders the rich assets the area enjoys. A brand website was developed alongside an event-oriented marketing plan that helped align both internal and external audiences with the knowledge of what was taking place in the region. There is a rich history associated with the area, so for the community brand, a historicallyauthentic style was created and marketed with contemporary media, news and events. After a little more than one year from creation and launch, the largest community-wide survey was conducted. The Find Yourself in Fort Smith brand poll-tested as the most positive development in the region with an 85% approval rating.

Fort Smith Airport The City of Fort Smith has a new, award-winning regional airport that has several great amenities. The only thing it was missing was a cohesive identity and engaging public image for itself, its surrounding community, and visitors abroad. Starting with a new brand identity that included a logo and tagline, a complete advertising campaign was designed utilizing newspaper, magazine, outdoor and broadcast mediums. A new website was developed to further extend their new brand communication. This campaign helped the airport in their efforts to attract new service based on the increased needs and awareness within the Fort Smith community. INTERNET COMMUNICATIONS: The majority of consumers begin any search on the Internet. With social media, use of email and Google-searches being the norm, Capstone has developed sound, strategic methodologies to ensure we engage and capture prospective clients who are visually bombarded with solicitations. < Monthly newsletters increase qualified web traffic and keep customers and interested buyers informed. Each are linked to social media, allow for “send to friend” viral marketing, and offer incentives linked to contextual splash pages. Print publications > recognize the importance of offering digital advertising — so to ensure the print ad gets more impressions, Capstone develops branded, animated web banners that an be tracked to the site.

DETAILS Travelers and second-home buyers priced out of the flashier Los Cabos in the Lower Baja Peninsula are heading north to the area around La Paz, to developments like the CostaBaja Resort & Marina, a 550 acres on the Sea of Cortez that opened in 2005. With three residential enclaves, a 250-slip marina, a 120-room hotel, a beach club and the village of shops, restaurants and galleries completed, the development is now working on two new residential clusters, a spa and an 18-hole Gary Player-designed golf course. One residential area, Las Colinas, will have 71 residences mostly in adjoining pairs on hillsides between holes of the golf course. The other, VistaMar, will be on bluffs near the beach and will initially consist of 16 casita-style residences in four buildings, with a 47-unit condominium complex nearby. Phases 1 and 2 shown above: For Lennar’s new gallery of homes sales center, Capstone designed an interactive, modular program where furniture could be reconfigured to create different spacial environments and work with virtually any floorplan. Each modular unit is a semi circle which allows them to be combined to create a full circle, S curves and other design configurations.

The inspiration was the nautical themed logo spiraling up. The community is where the desert meets the sea, however this building had no views of the ocean except from the third floor, so we kept it light, cylindrical, and included water features. The open center was designed for events and traffic, and the second level provided much needed office space for administration.
