Art to Share V

Allowing my intuition to be the guide, I listen to how I feel toward a color and the paint. I see the paint as having a life of its own. When completely involved in the creation of a work, I become one with the paint. There comes a point in the process when I cease to think and try to paint, and I am only being.

I make art because I have to. There is energy inside me that has to come out. Creating art is my therapy; when I don’t create, I feel on edge. It’s a mounting pressure inside me which needs to express itself. Holding a pen or a paintbrush is like eating for me. I realized I have a responsibility to make Art and share it with the world, and not to keep it to myself.
