The study was done to explore options for renovations of the existing student union. My role in the project was to make changes to the red lined floor plans in AutoCAD and then create 3-D models of each floor in Google SketchUP.

Left This was an update to an existing Campus Master Plan that Ayer Saint Gross had done for the University of Rochester. I worked closely with my Project Manager and the client to create several site plan options that satisfied different scenarios. Right These images are different parking scenarios that facilitated different building square footages. The process required much back and forth with the client, and the final choice is reflected in the now updated Master Plan.

Buena Vista had long been overdue for the development of its prime river front real estate. During my second term there, I was given a bubble diagram that was done by the previous planner and asked to create an illustrative conceptual site plan. The purpose of the resulting diagram was to get the plan approved by the Board of Trustees. It has since been passed and is included in the Recreational Master Plan.
Highway 24 is Buena Vista, Colorado’s main thoroughfare. It is not pedestrian friendly, and is in need of a redesign. I created these posters to help guide a public input meeting. We collected public feedback and were able to narrow down our design alternatives to present to the Board of Trustees.

We selected a large brown field site in the neighborhood for redevelopment, as well as the residual space under the viaduct to the north of the site for a market. Above are the concept plan and concept renderings. Right is the site plan.
