Contents 6 story When we designed the Core Pack 15L, we built in a removable waistbelt. That Utility Belt became one of our favorite things for riding mountain bikes...but it was a bit small. We designed the Enduro Fanny 5L to have enough space for tools, a resevoir or bottle, and enough room for a spare jacket. Getting a pack off of your back for those hot days has been pretty sweet...and the Enduro Fanny 5L was born.

10 features We used the same waterproof fabric, gave it the proper orgaization for all your tools (and prevent the jangling), and it even fits a helmet for the uphill slogs or a rain jacket. Aluminum hardware, a bright interior, and a stowable bottle pocket round it out, but the helmet sling really puts some sauce on it.

14 specs The Enduro Fanny 5L comes in at a svelt 2.5 lbs, and measures 15” x 6” x 3” deep with a waist range of 28-46”...America. Aluminum hardware, a 420D Nylon face fabric with a Carbonate + PU coating and 210D Polyester lining fabric, with 4 way Nylon mechanical stretch to keep the bits organized. Fleece lined pocket and a key clip keep the important things and Triangular EVA foam keeps it comfortable.

18 organization There are lots of pockets, zippers, clips, and stretchy bits to keep things tidy. A stowable helmet sling allows you to add on a rain jacket or clamshell helmet. An exterior pocket has a fleece lining and key clip while the interior has pockets for separating tools and avoiding those clanging noises when floating down the trail.

the beer garden, and the full squish afficionados were milling about. It had been raining for most of the afternoon and there were murmurs throughout the day. “Do you think people will still show up?”. Thats when we got a phone call inquiring about the group ride that day. “Ride’o at Five’o rain or shine”, was finally declared. Some folks had driven up frantically from Denver, some

I

was fortunate to have the privilege of testing the RMU Fanny 5L on

the annual Thursday night group ride with the usual band of delinquents and degenerates that call Breckenridge, CO our home. The Fanny 5L allowed me to carry my bike pump, extra tube, bike tool, cell phone, and even water bottle that attaches on the outside

of the Fanny. The ride consisted of variable weather conditions and even a 20 minute downpour of rain, but thankfully the waterproof fabric on the Fanny kept my phone nice and dry. The trail conditions were amazing on this gloomy wet day and the dirt was fast and tacky. Everyone on the ride was full speed down Gamechanger trail located on Breckenridge Resort and luckily we all made it back to RMU tavern unscathed. We celebrated the ride the only way we know how...drinking!

features

The Enduro Fanny 5L was built for the necessities, and to avoid wearing a backpack. We tried to cram as many features as possible into the Enduro Fanny 5L while still keeping things light. Check out the features list below to find out whats in the nooks and crannies. The 420D Nylon has a Carbonate + PU coating to waterproof the fabric and to stand up against abrasion. Fleece lining keeps your screen scratch free, and the reflective screenprints and zipper pulls get you noticed at night. Aluminum hardware on the (offset) main belt buckle and Nylon seatbelt webbing round out the fabric.

The bottom of the Enduro Fanny 5L has a zip pocket that can house an extra sleeve for a helmet or rain jacket. This allows you to compress the pack as well, and hides away underneath. This also pads the front pocket to keep your phone safe. There’s a place for all of your tools here...pockets for the tire levers and multi-tools, and a special place for a tire pump. A key clip in the outer pocket lets you get back into your car at night. An offset belt buckle keeps the business end out of your gut on the steep climbs. Corrugated EVA foam fills the lumbar, with a framesheet to keep your tools from poking you.

group ride

Every thursday night we do a group ride from the shop. Its a mix of mountain bikers from all over, starts at 5pm every week, and ends back at the bar for tallboys. We get a real mix of characters, and its a damn fine time. It’s a great way to end the day, and we always wind up having a wheelie contest at some point. It’s been a great testing ground for the Enduro Fanny 5L...and everything else we build. We get feedback right on the trail, from people we may have never met before with fresh eyes and a unique perspective. Trail tests are positive, and this has been the staff favorite lately. Keep the gear minimal, and save room for a camera or a tallboy...and enjoy the ride.
