OUR STORY
THE IDEA Our goal from the start was not to create an international company.
Our purpose from the beginning: as skiers, was simply to understand more about ski building and design for ourselves. We began
researching the process, equipment, and materials necessary with
the same passion that we had previously brought to the table when
researching new lines to ski, snow conditions, and weather patterns.

THE NAME We’d love to tell you that our skis were amazing right from the first pair off the press, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. The first pair
we pressed didn’t even work. Not understanding at the time what we were embarking on, we had built about 50 pairs of what were slowly starting to become decent skis for friends at a price range of 30
beers to a couple hundred bucks... and the word was out. If you need something built, go see the Rocky Mountain Underground guys. The
name was given to us because we were pressing skis underground,
in the Rocky Mountains...not because we had some well thought out business plan.

NORTH SHORE 108
AVAILABLE IN WOOD RMU’s most anticipated ski of 2018 is the addition of the 108. The ski has been drawn up by RMU athletes from around the world. Featuring a stiffer core, the 108 can
handle high speeds for the bigger lines but is still agile
enough for hucking. RMU has added a larger tip and tail
rocker to bring the ski up to plane quickly. We have moved
the contact surface forward allowing for a longer radius and added extra binding reinforcement for bigger drops. The
108 is a serious weapon and a great addition to any quiver.

The North Shore is a progressively engineered ski for the big and burly lines. Larger tip ratio dimensions compared
to the waist allow the ski to float on powder, while keeping a generous sidecut for an effective edge. The five-point design allows the ski rail turns, just as prominently as a ski with a narrower profile. The progressive radius
provides the North Shore more control at higher speeds
helping the rider be under control when arcing big Alaska style turns. The North Shore is designed to charge; thus the ski has been made 10% stiffer this year to increase
responsiveness and edge hold. Whether slaying big lines in Valdez or charging in the San Juans, The North Shore are the go-to boards.
