PREFACE

WHY THIS BOOK? What started out as a simple research led from one thing to another. Throughout my journey of discoveries I have tried to put aside my personal views and biases. However my so called 'open mind' was more than once put to the litmus test. I am still learning and can honestly say that besides the fact that there is much more to life than meets the eye, there is nothing more fascinating than discovering new truths and exploring new horizons. In the midst of my research I was invited to be the recorder of the 'Scopes Retrial - Evolution and Creation' court case, which for me was most enlightening. It was good to see the evidence of both sides and it was an honour for me to be called upon to record this case. 'In the Beginning . . . . then What?' is the transcript of this court case. Hopefully it will shed light on hot topics and give the reader a clearer understanding concerning both approaches to our origins. Did it occur by the process of the evolution commonly accepted by Modern Science as the cornerstone of our origins? Or by intelligent design also known as creation, which is often referred to not as a scientific, but as a religious point of view It is a study guide as well as a teaching manual for both evolution and creation. 4

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

For those interested in the evolution explanation, the related sections are marked with the 'Homo Sapiens', written in italic Cambria font. For those interested in the creation account, the associated texts are marked with the 'Atom'. The recording leaves the reader free to decide between facts and fiction, between circumstantial evidence and religion. The names of the honourable Lord Justice and of both witnesses for evolution and creation have been changed due to the sensitivity of the case. The court has ruled that it should be a completely FREE DOWNLOAD at the recorder‘s website www.johanpeters.in and at www.issuu.com Hard copies can be requested from the above sites. It is a free download, as was determined by the court, in the hope that it will be scientifically helpful for students, who often cannot afford the high costs of a book with colour photographs and valuable information. WHY PART TWO? Due to the significance of the case, half of the international members of the Jury were chosen from the academic and science community and the other half are representing the major world religions. The personal and controversial questions from these Jurors concerning their religion have been edited out, as these have no bearing on the case and are published in Part 2 - 'My Controversial Client'.

THE JOHN SCOPES TRIAL - 1925 The Scopes Trial, formally known as The State of Tennessee v. John Thomas Scopes and commonly referred to as the Scopes Monkey Trial, was an American legal case in 1925 in which a substitute high school teacher, John Scopes, was accused of violating Tennessee's Butler Act, which made it unlawful to teach human evolution in any state-funded school. The trial was deliberately staged to attract publicity to the small town of Dayton, Tennessee, where it was held. Scopes was unsure whether he had ever actually taught evolution, but he purposely incriminated himself so that the case could have a defendant. Scopes was found guilty and fined $100 (equivalent to $1,349 in 2015), but the verdict was overturned on a technicality. The trial served its purpose of drawing intense national publicity, as national reporters flocked to Dayton to cover the big-name lawyers who had agreed to represent each side. William Jennings Bryan, three-time presidential candidate, argued for the prosecution, while Clarence Darrow, the famed defense attorney, spoke for Scopes. The trial publicized the Fundamentalist–Modernist Controversy, which set Modernists, who said evolution was not inconsistent with religion against Fundamentalists, who said the word of God as revealed in the Bible took priority over all human knowledge. The case was thus seen as both a theological contest and a trial on whether evolution / modern science should be taught in schools. 9 Wikipedia/Scopes_trial

CHAPTER 1 ALL RISE, INTRODUCTION ―All Rise – Presiding over the case 'Evolution and Creation' will be the right honourable Lord Justice Dr. E. Dict.‖ The Lord Justice speaks: ―Dear members of the Jury, welcome. It is good to see that you arrived safely. Today is Wednesday. Most of you arrived over the weekend with some extra time to rest. The trial concerning evolution and creation is reopened. It is imperative to bring clarity to the confusion that exists around the subject of how we, and the world we live in, came into existence. Seeing the original Scopes Trial in 1925, was a criminal case in the U.S. Criminal court of Tennessee, we will open ‘The Scopes Retrial‘ as a criminal case. However that particular court case became more a publicity stunt, with emotions running high and accusations flying. As long as I preside over the case, I will not allow it to deteriorate into a media muddle, hence the press will not be present in the court room. The main person responsible for the evolution process is Mr. Charles Darwin. Mr. Darwin is not present, as he expired in the year 1882. 11

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The witness for evolution is Professor E. Colog, Ph.D. He will refer to Mr. Darwin‘s writings and other supporting evidence. His related pages and accounts will be marked with the 'Homo Sapiens', written in italics Cambria font. The responsibility for the creation concept lies with Mr. D. Vine, also known as God. Mr. D. Vine has chosen to remain silent and according to his witness, he has declined to be present in person, as according to him the absence of both parties will give the Jury a more objective insight into the case. The witness for creation, is Mr. N. Voy, and he also will refer to the writings of his client and other supporting evidence. His related pages and accounts will be marked with the 'Atom'. The twelve international members of the Jury will go by the circumstantial and direct evidence. Six of the Jurors are chosen to represent the academic and scientific community, while the other six members represent their country and their country's leading religion. THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY OF THE JURY IS TO DECIDE BETWEEN FACT AND FICTION, BETWEEN HARD EVIDENCE AND RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. If the accused is absent or remains silent then in criminal law circumstantial evidence is used in courts to establish guilt or innocence through reasoning.‖ 12

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The Lord Justice continues: ―I quote the cases of,

The State v Busak, where the court stated: 'If there is evidence calling for an answer and an accused person chooses to remain silent in the face of such evidence, a court may well be entitled to conclude that the evidence is sufficient in the absence of an explanation to prove the guilt of the accused.' 1 AND The State v Tshabalala, where was said that after facing the accused with direct and credible evidence: 'One is bound to conclude that the totality of the evidence taken in conjunction with his silence excluded any doubt his guilt.' 2

Witnesses from both sides shall present their evidence in accordance to the writings of the parties they represent, also referred to as their clients. When the Jury has made their decision to name the accountable party then it will be my responsibility as the judge to decide on the appropriate sentence. This sentence will be influenced by a number of factors: principally the circumstances of the case and the impact that the crime has had on the victim(s). 13

For those present who are less familiar with the court proceedings the definition of a criminal case is: ‘Prosecution by the State of a person or organization, for committing a public wrong considered an offense against the State. ‘ State meaning a people permanently occupying a fixed territory bound together by common habits. The case 'Evolution and Creation' is now officially reopened.”

CHAPTER 2 EVOLUTION EXPLAINED ―Witnesses, please introduce yourselves in brief and give an explanation of your presentations. We call on the Professor to speak on behalf of evolution.‖ “Your Honour, honourable Jury, I am Professor E. Colog at the Biological Research University. I hold a Ph.D. in the field of Natural Selection and am awarded a doctorate in Organismal Biology and Biological Diversity. I would like to present my case in three parts: 1. An explanation of the biological evolution, which includes natural selection, carbondating, etc. Seeing that I am a teaching and busy Professor, my rationalizations will mainly be compilations from the elucidating research works of the Smithsonian Institute. 2. The effect that evolution has on the present development of mankind. 3. In closing I would like to show the importance and honours bestowed on my client, Mr. Darwin.‖ ―Let the witness on behalf of creation introduce himself.‖ ―Your Honour, honourable members of the Jury, I am Mr. N. Voy. I would also like to represent my client in three parts. 1. The evidence supporting the writings of my client. 2. The biological evidence to support my client. 3. To present circumstantial and scientific evidence and to explain in simple terms the main goals and plans of my client for mankind.‖ 15

The honourable Justice speaks: ―As Justice presiding over the case I would like to reiterate that only circumstantial and direct evidence will be accepted for your points of presentation. We call on the Professor to take the witness stand for evolution.‖ “Honourable Justice and Jury, I present a photograph of Herbert Spencer as first introduction. I wish to refer to Mr. Spencer as he was an admirer of Mr. Darwin. Mr. Spencer influenced the structuralfunctionalist perspective, he coined the phrase 'survival of the fittest', wrote over 30 books and gave understanding to the positive and negative aspects of social Darwinism. He stated that nothing can exist without these five basics:

Herbert Spencer 1820-1903

Time, Energy (or Force), Action, Space and Matter. This is evidence enough in itself that tangible hard facts are more important than religious beliefs. All things around us exist because of these five basic factors, not because of some fanatical belief in an unseen creator, forced on us by people that are too weak to stand on their own and need a God and creation as a crutch to help them face their difficulties in life. We are down-to-earth evolutionists and we believe that Mother Earth gave us life and hence we need to preserve her.” Someone shouts from the balcony: ―Yeah, Yeah. It is so good that someone says it like it is.‖ ―ORDER IN THE COURT‖ 16

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

―I object, Your Honour, I object to the Professor making personal statements on belief and religion, while the court has ruled that only circumstantial hard evidence will be accepted.‖ ―Objection on behalf of creation sustained! I would like to ask for two security guards on both the balconies. Security, please remove those that will shout from the balcony. We will let this comment pass, but the next person shouting will be removed. Anything that you would like to add, Professor?‖ “No, thank you.” ―Let Mr. N. Voy speak on behalf of creation.‖ ―Your Honour, members of the Jury, I want to expound on the argument presented by the Professor and refer to the first sentence of my client‘s first book, where it states, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.' 1 In this first sentence we find these five basics that are quoted by the Professor: 'In the beginning (which stands for TIME) God (being ENERGY or FORCE) created (is the ACTION) the heavens (SPACE) and the earth (MATTER).' My client‘s first books date from approximately 1500 B.C. and the writing of Mr. Spencer from his lifetime 1820-1903 A.D. Seeing that the parents of Mr. Spencer held firm religious convictions, which includes the study of my client‘s writing, I can only assume that Mr. Spencer came to this conclusion after studying the writings of my client. I think that if my client were present he would agree to my assumption, as well as the down-to-earth view of the Professor to preserve Mother Earth.‖ 17

The Professor stands up, “I object! The client of Mr. N. Voy is not present, so he cannot assume that his client will agree.” ―Objection sustained! Anything you wish to add Mr. N. Voy?‖ ―Not on this point, Your Honour, except the Professor presenting a photograph of Herbert Spencer is hardly circumstantial evidence.‖ ―We will now take a 30-minute recess. The doors of the courtroom will close in 25 minutes at 10:55.‖ __________

The clock shows 11:00. ―We call on you, Professor, to present us concrete evidence concerning the process of evolution.‖ “Your Honour, until recently we understood the world to be 4.6 billion years, however new evidence shows that the world is much older and approximately 13.8 billion years. It all started with a tremendous, unthinkable explosion of a highly compressed miniscule grain of matter. This is known as “the Big Bang”, which was so powerful that through its centrifugal force it hurled the stars and planets into the universe and their consequent orbits. Later on Lemaitre 1 referred to it as the explosion of the superatom. ―Objection, Your Honour, there are too many flaws in this centrifugal theory!‖ ―Objection overruled! Mr. N. Voy, you will get your turn to speak. We cannot and will not stop this case for every disagreement. Please be seated. Thank you. Please continue, Professor.‖ 18

“On the Earth due to the circumstances of the climate, life started evolving. It started with the humble beginnings of single cells multiplying in the humidity of the seas and oceans, which over millions and millions of years developed into micro organisms that eventually formed into little creatures. One good example that we see still in today’s nature is that of the tiny tadpole fish, which develops from a tiny egg. After some time it spontaniously grows little legs and eventually develops into a frog. This example develops in a relatively short time, however over the hundreds of millions of years many species of animal life have evolved. Before the ice age the climate on Earth was different, plant life on Earth was more lush and due to this abundant vegetation we have seen the different reptiles evolve into very outsized dinosaurs and other simular creatures.

The following is an evolution chart concerning the Phylogenetic Organisation of the Metazoa. 19

Around 7 million years ago we saw the development of the primate apes, which then evolved in different stages from the early beginning to eventually the Homo Sapiens, which is the human race. Of this I would like to present the family tree, which shows clearly how we evolved from apes.

The Smithsonian Institute This tree is developed by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Founded in 1846, the Smithsonian is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex, consisting of 19 museums and galleries, the National Zoological Park, and nine research facilities.

According to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History: The Ardipithicus group are the earliest humans that evolved in Africa and took the first steps towards walking upright. This was 4 to 7 million years ago. The Australopithecus Africanus early humans that walked upright but still climbed trees, 2 to 4½ million years ago. Paranthropus Robustus, average 3 ft 9 in (1.2 m) tall, lived about 1.8 to 1.2 million years ago. They had very large megadont cheek teeth with thick enamel and focused their chewing in the back of the jaw.

The following reconstructions are by John Gurche, who because of his talent has given a face to our ancestors.

The Homo Group In the Homo group we find: Homo Heidelbergensis

Homo Habilis

Homo Erectus average height from 4 ft 9 - 6 ft 1 (145 - 185 cm), @ 1.89 million - 143,000 years ago. Homo Neanderthalensis These are our closest extinct human relative. About 400,000 - 40,000 years ago. Homo Sapiens And last are the Homo Sapiens that is us humans. Members were first to expand beyond the African continent. Your Honour, members of the Jury, thank you for your interest and attentive listening. I hold a Ph.D. in the field of Natural Selection and am awarded a doctorate in Organisamal Biology and Biological Diversity. Although this may have started as a theory, these have now become facts and are the major cornerstone of science. The subject of evolution has always been of great interest to me personally, as it is never ending and we constantly discover new findings and explore new theories to determine our origins." 24

"Here we see a simplified version of the evolution timeline." 1

Mr. N. Voy has been on the edge of his seat and finally bursts out, ―Your Honour, I object. This is not circumstantial evidence. These theories are the figments of someone‘s imagination.‖ ―Objection overruled! Sir, you are speaking out of term and you will get your chance to speak. I have said earlier that it is for the Jury to decide what material is relevant and will be accepted as circumstantial evidence.‖ 25

The Professor continues, ―Your Honour, these facts have been established by scientists that hold master degrees in science and educated people, not by some religious fundamental fanatics that believe the simplistic version of creation. Thank you, this is all that I have on this point.‖ The honourable Lord Justice comments, ―Professor, thank you for your presentation. Gentlemen, I urge you both, to keep this objective and restrain yourself from making personal comments. Thank you. The court now takes a one-hour recess for lunch and refreshment. In exactly one hour at 1:30 the court will call upon Mr. N. Voy to make his presentation on behalf of creation. The doors of the courtroom will close in exactly 55 minutes. Please be seated before that time so we can proceed without delay.‖ __________

CHAPTER 3 GIANTS, HOAXES, EARTH'S AGE, MOONDUST ―ORDER IN THE COURT!‖ ―The court will now resume and calls on the witness for creation, Mr. N. Voy, to take the stand.‖ ―Your Honour, members of the Jury, it has been a long time hobby from me to research history and I have always been fascinated by the different theories concerning our origin. My parents were simple, honest, business people that taught me honesty above all and lying had no place in our family life. Since childhood I have been interested how it all fits together. The last book in the world that I wanted to read was the writing of my client.‖ “Objection! Your Honour, let Mr. N. Voy present evidence and not emotional slob.” ―Objection overruled, let the witness speak! I urge you, Professor, to keep your comments objective. Mr. N. Voy, please keep your introduction short and to the point and go on with presenting your evidence.‖ ―Your Honour, the Professor has explained how we evolved from primate apes. During the recess I studied the charts and the Metazoa tree.1 I am what you call a down-to-earth person. I have never seen in my whole life an actual tree, that was not grafted, bear different kinds of fruit. An apple tree produces apples, a pear tree gives us pears, and a coconut tree gives coconuts, and lemons grow on lemon trees, etc. 27

Except of course a Christmas tree that is there for decoration and enjoyment, but no person not even the children believe that it naturally grows stars, bells and angels etc. In the writings of my client he writes in his first chapter,

'each after its kind.' 1 To any level headed person it is clear that these charts are not based in reality, but is the figment of some confused, evolutionist mind.‖ “Objection! Objection! If I need to keep things objective and refrain from personal comments then this should also count for this ignorant creationist. He totally does not understand the amount of research and intellectual discussions that have gone into developing these charts and these are not apple trees. These represent millions of years in the evolutionary development of mankind.” ―Objection sustained! Mr. N. Voy, please give your presentation. It is for the Jury to decide whether these charts are based in reality. Proceed with your presentation.‖ ―Your Honour, according to the evolution presentation we evolved from creatures that were smaller than us and throughout time we grew more in size and intelligence to our present day status. Hence, I would like to present some photographs of circumstantial evidence that differ from this theory. In my client‘s first book, also known as Genesis, he writes in chapter 6 verse 4, 'There were giants in the earth in those days' 2 “Objection, objection, objection – the witness is bringing fables and children’s bedtime stories into the courtroom.” 28

Shouting comes from the balcony, ―What rubbish, fairy tales of Jack and the beanstolk with giants. I thought this was a serious court case, but this is becoming a laughing stock!‖ All present burst out laughing. ―ORDER IN THE COURT! Security, please remove the person that shouted from the balcony. Silence. I repeat, order in the court! Any more comments from the balcony and we will clear the courtroom completely. The objection is overruled. Let the witness speak and present his evidence, but it had better be clear circumstantial evidence and no more theoretical arguments.‖ ―Your Honour, I will present my first evidence: Several pages of photographs concerning excavations to show that there were actual giants living on this Earth. To show that I am not wasting time with fables or fairy tales, I will also present news articles. Your Honour, members of the Jury the following photographs are excavations from all over our planet.‖

There is mumbling among the Jury and on the balcony. The Justice interjects, ―This photograph will be given to experts for its authenticity and to see if this is an actual photograph.‖ ―I wish to present some more photographs 1 on this subject. Also these should be checked by the experts, as I only want to present truthful evidence, Your Honour.‖ 30

There is evidence galore and they are discovered all over the planet: Romania, Saudi-Arabia, India, U.S.A, Mongolia, Greece and on every continent.

Your Honour, the AIAA (American Institution of Alternative Archeology) states that a US Supreme Court ruling has forced the Smithsonian Institution to release classified papers in 2015, dating from the early 1900′s, which show that thousands of giant human remains were ordered destroyed by high level administrators. 1 The Smithsonian had sued the AAIA for defamation. A turning point of the court case was when a 1.3 meter long human femur bone, was shown as evidence in court by Smithsonian whistleblowers.‖ 31

The professor jumps up and bursts out with an angry voice, "I object profusely, Your Honour, I object, these photographs are fabricated and a total hoax, this is absolute nonsense. These are put on the internet to confuse and sidetrack us from what is important.

1882

These news articles are totally outdated rubbish and they were published by some Bible believing fundamentalists over a century ago as 'evidence' to give so-called 'factual' credence to the Bible,so whose authority was rapidly waning in those days. At our esteemed research centre we have no records in our registers of this absolute non-sensical, ridiculous 'evidence'. I don’t know which 'Supreme Court' that was and where these photos are produced, but I will guarantee you that they are photoshopped downloads from totally untrustworthy websites. Many of these websites have been removed and blocked because of their ridiculous, perverted and lying contents.” ―Objection overruled! The Jury will decide what evidence it will keep. Mr. N. Voy, please continue.‖ ―Your Honour, one might argue that this is outdated evidence from a long time ago and that the times have changed, however the following is from 2015. These following skeletons came to light after heavy rainfalls in Mexico, on March 23, 2015 in Sierra Tapalpa. This find was recorded in several news media, i.e., the 'Mendoza Post' 1 and 'LaCalla' 2. 33

However the find quickly disappeared off the radar and this photograph was somehow declared a 'photoshopped hoax'. May I request the court to please have these photographs checked by the experts, as one true photograph is evidence enough for the court to prove that the word of my client is true.

Your Honour, honourable members of the Jury, there is ample proof of giant skeletons, but they ‗miraculously‘ disappear as quickly as they are excavated and are promptly with the utmost secrecy taken away for ‗further research‘, while excavation areas are declared no-fly zone, and people are told in no uncertain terms to hush it up. I cannot help but think that, - someone has a few skeletons in his cupboard -‖ 34

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

There is a chuckle in the court, but not all are in agreement and others are getting irritated. While some whisper, ―This is amazing‖, others sneer, ―We don‘t have to listen to this idiotic nonsense.‖ ―Your Honour, according to the writing of my client the world is approximately a little over 6,000 years old.‖ Someone shouts from the balcony, ―Can he shut up with this nonsense?‖ From the opposite balcony another shouts back angrily, ―Can you shut up and let this man speak!‖ ―I‘ll see you after the court is over you damned, #@%$&, sick-in-yourbrain idiot!‖ ―Security, please remove the gentleman on the left balcony that shouted these intimidations!‖ There is a bit of a shuffle and loud screaming of profanities. Then the door closes, the sounds and protests are fading and it is silent again. ―Mr. N. Voy, please proceed.‖ ―Your Honour, like I said, according to my client the Earth is approximately 6,000 years old and there have been literally tens of thousands of giant skeletons found all over the world. What I cannot understand is that if the world is 4.6 or 13.8 billion years old and man has been evolving for the last 7 million years from one stage to another, how come we are not over our head into skeletons of these different evolutionary stages, just like we excavate the skeletons of giants? THE WORLD POPULATION: It is estimated that the world population reached one billion for the first time in 1804. As of March 2012, it reached 7 billion. If according to evolution the Homo Sapiens (that is us humans) developed 40,000 years ago, then we have 40,000 : 200 = 200 periods of 200 years. Hence, Your Honour, each 200 years the population multiplies 7 times. However due to harsh living conditions, disease, lack of medical supplies and fighting off dinosaurs, we will say that instead of multiplying 7 times, we make it generous towards the evolution theory and we say that the population only doubled every 200 years instead of 7 times. Hence, after 11,000 years we have 55 periods of 200 years. That is 2 to the power of 55, or 255, or 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 = that is a whopping 36.028.797.018.963.968 36 quadrillion, 28 trillion, 797 billion, 18 million, 963 thousand and 968 people after 11,000 years. After 11,000 years we would come close to 5,000,000 (five million) times the present day world population of 7.6 billion. The world land area is 510,100,000 km2 or 510,100,000,000,000 mtr2. That means that some 29,000 years ago we should have 36,028,797,018,963,968 : 510,100,000,000,000 = 70 per meter2. 70 people per square meter already 29,000 years ago. Now 29,000 years later we would be standing shoulder to shoulder world-wide probably 1,000 feet deep. I cannot help but think, Your Honour, that something is wrong with the time frames of the evolution theory. There are other statistics of the world population doubling between 20 and 35 years.1 However I wanted to be generous to avoid arguments, but no matter what, it just does not make any sense, nor fit. 36

Since according to my client we have roughly 4½ thousand years since the flood occurred, I think that somehow the present day population of 7.4 billion seems more correct and fits better. CENTRIFUGAL FORCE OF THE BIG BANG Your Honour, I objected earlier concerning the centrifugal force. With this my apologies, as I should have just waited till it was my turn to speak. The centrifugal force of the big bang theory that orbited the planets into space, leaves me with some questions. Seeing that it was the same centrifugal force that orbited all the planets, it only makes sense to me that all the planets, as spinoffs, spin or rotate on their axis in the same direction. At least this should definitely be true in our alleged solar system. However we are told that three planets, Venus, Uranus and Pluto rotate in the opposite direction from the other planets.

37

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

I am sure someone will come up with a new theory, or has already explained it away with a new speculation of how the ‗contra centrifugal rotational dynamics‘ took place, and occurred several times around 3 to 3½ billion years ago. This, along with other more complex and complicated language that nobody understands, will ‗explain‘ why Pluto, Venus and Uranus turn left to right or westward, instead of eastward, which is supposedly the case with the other planets. Your Honour, we don‘t require a Ph.D., to see that something does not add up. HOAXES For instance, we take as example the Piltdown man, which turned out to be a purposely false hoax, 40 long years after it was 'discovered' by Dawson and Smith. Your Honour, the point that I am trying to make is that for 40 long years it was taught in our schools and confused the young minds of a whole generation in their studies. In 1912 the Piltdown man ‗discovery‘ was publicized. It was however constructed by using the jawbone belonging to an orangutan, which they had soaked in potassium, so it would look like a fossil. 1 38

Dr. A. J. E. Cave, explained in 1958, at the Congress of Zoology that the Homo Neanderthalensis was the skeleton of an older gentleman who had 1 suffered from arthritis. Your Honour, yet he remains part of our school text books till this very day. The Heidelberg man was constructed by the inspiration of a jawbone that was considered by many to be quite human. However, he is another missing link in the tree of evolution. Your Honour, I am sure that, like many others, you have wondered what body part was used to construct the Homo Erectus?‖ There is a slight chuckle on the otherwise serious face of the Lord Justice, ―Please continue, but be careful.‖ ―Your Honour, members of the Jury, if evolution is true why can we not find complete skeletons of the missing links, like we do of the giants? Why do they have to be constructed by the inspiration of someone‘s imagination, with only a tooth or jaw-bone or a piece of skull, that are not even excavated in the same place? LUCY - A MISSING LINK I quote, 'Scientists have discovered a remarkably complete skeleton of a 3-year-old female from the ape-man species represented by 'Lucy'. . . The remains are 3.3 million years old . . . 39

'It's pretty unbelievable' to find such a complete fossil from that long ago, said scientist Fred Spoor. 'It's a once-in-alifetime find.' Spoor is professor of evolutionary anatomy at University College London . . . Judging by how well it was preserved, the skeleton may have come from a body that was quickly buried by sediment in a flood, the researchers said.' 1 'Recently however, it has been revealed that Lucy (Australopithecus afarensis) had an anatomy ideally suited to climbing trees and was no different from other apes . . . The French scientific journal 'Science et Vie' covered the story in 1999 under the headline “Adieu, Lucy”. Tel Aviv University anthropologists determined that Lucy‟s lower jaw bone is some kind of gorilla jaw bone. . . As a result, the evolutionary researchers concluded that LUCY SHOULD NO LONGER BE CONSIDERED MAN‟S DIRECT ANCESTOR.' 2 Yet books on Lucy are still in university libraries, like Oxford. Lucy remains part of the big evolutionary exhibitions to promote science. 3 Lucy at the American Museum of Natural History

But what science I ask? Modern Science is the answer. Your Honour, honourable Jury, what does Modern Science entail? Can we throw all the basic scientific principles overboard in Modern Science, so we don‘t have to stick to facts anymore? I was always taught that science was based on facts and that science means reasoning, but sticking to the facts. 40

The definition of science is as follows: 1 'The systematic observation of natural events and conditions in order to discover facts about them and to formulate laws and principles based on these facts.' When we look at the chart developed by Dr. Peter Schmid with the Anthropological Institute of the University of Zurich, I notice that there are seven question marks on his chart of ‗Our Human Phylogeny‘.2 Your Honour, to the contrary, my client leaves us with no questions in his writings. He answers everything and everything fits water tight. AGE OF THE EARTH The Professor explained about the Earth‘s age being an estimated 4.6 billion years old according to the theory of evolution and that new discoveries point to 13.8 billion years. 3 I would like to explain that it may very well be different according to my client‘s writing. Like I said earlier, according to my client the world is approximately 6000 years old. How did we come up with that number? My client faithfully recorded the age of the father when his wife gave birth to a son. The following is taken from my client's first book, Genesis:      

'Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat..Seth (Gen.5:3) Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: (Gen.5:6) Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: (Gen.5:9) Cainan lived seventy years and begat Mahalaleel: (Gen.5:12) Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared: (Gen.5:15) Jared lived hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch: (Gen.5:18) 41

THE MOONLANDING CONTROVERSY. Your Honour, for me the moonlandings happening was an established fact and I brushed aside these 'conspiracy theorists' that kept saying it did not happen, until I came across an interview from NASA. I will get back to that later. Nevertheless personally I always took the moonlanding at face value because of the moondust information that we have from NASA. „MOONDUST MYSTERY SOLVED WITH ALLEGED APOLLO MISSION DATA‟ - January 3, 2014. 1 ‗A revisited trove of data from NASA‘s Apollo mission more than 40 years ago is helping scientist answer a lingering lunar question: How fast does moondust build up? The answer; IT WOULD TAKE 1000 YEARS FOR A LAYER OF MOONDUST ABOUT ONE MILLIMETER THICK TO ACCUMULATE, the researchers found - (0.04 inches). The rate may seem slow by the standards of Earth, but it‘s 10 times faster than scientists had believed before, and it means moondust could pose big problems for astronauts and equipment alike. The Lunar Dust Detector, (see photograph) attached to the leftmost corner of this experiment package left by the Apollo 12 astronauts, made the first measurement of lunar dust accumulation. As the device‘s three solar panel became covered by dust, the voltage they produced dropped. Credit NASA 43

'You wouldn‘t see it; it‘s very thin indeed,' Brian O‘Brien, as physicist at the University of Western Australia, said in a statement. .' (End of article space.com) We have according to the supposed measurements given, 1 millimeter - 1 mm of moondust per thousand years - 1000 yrs. The math is very simple: there is about six mm of moondust. 1 mm accumilates every 1000 years. THIS MAKES THE MOON ABOUT 6,000 YEARS OLD. Your Honour, whether the moonlanding happened or not is besides the point, because my client is very concerned that his main key message about the Earth's age gets out to every person possible, whether we believe the moonlanding to be true or false. I am always amazed at how his truth is revealed in spite of, 'the tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive.' SO DID WE GO TO THE MOON? In the back of my mind I did have some doubts, as in my grade school physics class I had learned that airplanes and rockets won't work and would not be able to change direction in a vacuum and also humans would explode. So I was surprised that the astronauts' suits did not swell even a little when on the moon. ASTRONAUTS UPSET WITH INTERVIEWER One thing that got my attention was a short video clip of two minutes 1 on Youtube, where the interviewer Bart Stribel goes around with a Bible asking the astronauts, that allegedly went to the moon, to clear up the confusion around the moonlanding and put their hand on the Bible and swear before God that they walked on the moon. Six of the seven astronauts refused and it seemed upsetting for all. Athough I am aware that Youtube is not the most reliable source and I don't agree with the way that the interview was agressively conducted, nevertheless the footage seems real, and it is pretty clear that the interviewer did get a fist in his face from Buzz Aldrin. 44

Your Honour, I mentioned earlier about the NASA interview. NASA tells us in a round-about way that they have not yet gone to the moon.1 The reason given for this is the Van Allen Belt. This is a radioactive belt, with temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Celsius, which is shielding the Earth. Presently we have no materials with which we can build rockets and that can withstand these temperatures. Parts of NASA interviews: NASA officer, 'As we get further away from Earth we pass through the Van Allen Belt, an area of dangerous radiation. . . but Orion has protection. Shielding will be put to the test as the vehicle cuts through the waves of radiation. Sensors on board will record radiation levels for scientists to study. We must solve these challenges before we send people through this region of space.' NASA astronaut, 'The plan that NASA has is to build a heavy lift rocket . . . it will be able to launch the Orion capsule with humans on board . . to destinations beyond Earth's orbit. RIGHT NOW WE CAN ONLY FLY IN EARTH'S ORBIT THAT IS THE FARTHEST WE CAN GO, and this new system that we are building is to allow us to go beyond and hopefully take humans into our solar system to explore. So the moon, mars and asteroids, there is a lot of destinations that we could go to, and we are building these building block components in order to allow us to do that eventually.' BACK TO EARTH Someone might develop a theory with complicated terminology to show how scientifically misinformed we are. It will be a language that common people like me don‘t know so we stop reading altogether. For example in the evolution theory we have: Gharialis Curvirostris, Palaeoloxodon Namadicus, Dittmarites Trailliformis, Orthis (Plectorthis) Spitiensis, Spriferina Stracheyi, Achrochordiceras, Cyathophyllum Helianthoides, Hemiptychina Crebriplicata, and then we have the Australopithecus Africanus, or the African Monkey. 45

My question is, 'Does anyone really know what we are talking about, or are we playing hide and seek in a maze of illogical, complicated, not understandable vocabulary and theories?' Dr. Einstein said, 'If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.' "If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself." The Professor states that, 'It all started with a tremendous, unthinkable explosion of a highly compressed miniscule grain of matter.' From what we gather the force of the explosion orbited not only our solar system into space but also the galaxies of the universe. This is saying that something smaller than this dot . by exploding off the page can create a whole new universe with earth, sun, planets, moons, stars, vegetation, wildlife and eventually human beings. My question is that in making this statement am I reducing myself, or at least the size of my brain, to the magnitude of this dot? It is not my aim to prove the Professor wrong, it is my sole desire to establish the truth. My client instructed me, that it is for me, 'to be kind, to rejoice and be happy with the truth.' 1‖ “Objection, Your Honour, this is not based in truth. Things are not as simple as Mr. N. Voy makes things out to be. Complicated analysis are made by difficult highly complex scientific means of carbon dating and the rubidium-strontium isochron technique. That is the truth Mr. N. Voy should rejoice in.” ―Objection overruled! The court will take a 30-minute recess and we will start again at 3:30. To remind you the doors will close again at 3:25. The Professor will then take the witness stand on behalf of evolution.‖

CHAPTER 4 CARBON DATING, OXYGIN and OOPses ―Professor E. Colog will take the stand on behalf of evolution.‖ “Your Honour, I would like to bring to everyone’s attention that the age of the Earth is not established by measuring some dust in outer space, nor by the sum total of ages of some long gone generation in a religious book. These time frames are established by the scientific 14C method in which there are three principal isotopes of carbon which occur naturally - C12, C13 (both stable) and C14 (unstable or radioactive). These isotopes are present in the following amounts C12 - 98.89%, C13 1.11% and C14 - 0.00000000010%. Thus, one carbon 14 atom exists in nature for every 1,000,000,000,000 (1 in a trillion) C12 atoms in living material. The radiocarbon method is based on the rate of decay of the radioactive or unstable carbon isotope 14 (14C), which is formed in the upper atmosphere through the effect of cosmic ray neutrons upon nitrogen 14. The reaction is: 14N + n => 14C + p (Where n is a neutron and p is a proton). The 14C formed is rapidly oxidised to 14CO2 and enters the Earth's plant and animal life ways through photosynthesis and the food chain. The rapidity of the dispersal of C14 into the atmosphere has been demonstrated by measurements of radioactive carbon produced from thermonuclear bomb testing. 14C

also enters the Earth's oceans in an atmospheric exchange and as dissolved carbonate (the entire 14C inventory is termed the carbon exchange reservoir (Aitken, 1990)). 47

Plants and animals which utilise carbon in biological food chains take up 14C during their lifetimes. They exist in equilibrium with the C14 concentration of the atmosphere, that is, the numbers of C14 atoms and non-radioactive carbon atoms stay approximately the same over time. As soon as a plant or an animal dies, they cease the metabolic function of carbon uptake; there is no replenishment of radioactive carbon, only decay.” The Lord Justice and several members of the Jury seem puzzled. One of the Jury asks if the Professor could put it in simple terms that she, not being a scientist, will be able to understand. “Not really, as this is the scientific process by which we date items and the age of the Earth etc. This is also strong evidence that the client of Mr. N. Voy is nothing but a fancy fable and actually a childish hoax.” ―May I object, Your Honour? I would like to ask the Professor to refrain from making personal derogatory statements about my client.‖ ―Objection sustained! Please, Professor, let us simply stick to the material on carbon dating. Anything that you would like to add, Professor?‖ 48

―Yes, your Honour. Although these scientific methods might not be easy to understand. It is difficult for me to defend scientists and scolars that spent years of agonizing research to figure out our origins. Scientists have gotten Nobel prizes for this. Here I am having to explain their work and theories in a short time, which they spent years on. I am sure the academic members of the Jury understand the simple formula of carbon dating. I must say that it irritates me to have to defend the work of science against religionists, whose whole itinerary and objective is to promote a God that nobody has ever seen and does not exist. I have spoken.” There is an awkward silence and it is totally quiet in the courtroom, until someone on the right balcony works up the bravery to clear his throat. The Justice also clears his throat and looks towards the Jury asking, ―How do you feel? Shall we continue, dear members of the Jury?‖ ―Yes, Your Honour. With the request that the case stays objective.‖ The Justice looks towards the Professor, but there acknowledgement from his side, nor any sign of remorse.

―Shall we continue? Mr. N. Voy please take the stand on behalf of creation.‖ “Your Honour, members of the Jury, carbon dating is used to work out the age of organic material — in effect, any living thing. The technique hinges on carbon-14 (14C) radioactive dating, which is applicable only to matter, which was once living and presumed to be in balance with the present day atmosphere, taking in carbon dioxide from the air for photosynthesis. 49

Measuring the amount of 14C in a sample from a dead animal, a plant, a piece of wood or a fragment of bone provides information that can be used to calculate when the animal or plant died. The amount of cosmic rays penetrating the Earth's atmosphere affects the amount of 14C produced and therefore the dating system. In other words: The older a fossil, the less 14C there is to be detected. I personally also did not understand the carbon 14 dating, and had to figure out what it meant. My client writes in the Book of Genesis . . . . ” At this point the Professor throws up his arms and hisses, “Oh no, not again!” The Justice speaks soberly, ―Professor, I just allowed your insult to the Jury to pass. However Professor, if you cannot and will not control your tongue, then I will ask you to leave the courtroom while Mr. N. Voy presents his material. When he is done we will ask you to come back in and give your presentation. This is my last and final warning so that we can keep order in this courtroom while I preside over the case.‖ ―Mr. N. Voy, please continue.‖ ―Your Honour, I do have to present my client's writing in order to explain creation. Like I said my client wrote in Genesis: 'And I made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.' 1 The waters above the firmament gave a greenhouse effect on the Earth in those days before the flood. It also shielded the Earth and those living on it from the damaging UV and 14C rays. 50

1. Genesis 1:6,7

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

Before the flood the sun and moon were not clearly visable, as their light was filtered by the water/ice layer. Hence my client did not name them till after the flood, but referred to them as, 'the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night:' 1 The weight of the protective translucent water layer increased the oxygen level by more than half. This gave an amazing Flora and Fauna, with huge sub-tropical vegetation and colossal animals. One other interesting point is that before the flood people and the animals were vegetarians, as my client writes, 'I have given you every herb bearing seed, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (nourishment) To every beast, fowl and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.' 2 In those days the increased air pressure meant more oxygen gets into the blood stream, which means better health and longer life. People, plants and animals could live up to ten times longer than what is possible today. Amazing animals living at that time were also the dragons, behemoths and leviathans.3 Moreover the indeterminate reptiles could grow much larger than they are today, as they continued to grow throughout their lifetime. We have now called all these amazing creatures dinosaurs. According to Science Forum the dinosaurs had relatively small lungs for their oversized bodies and did not survive because of lack of oxygen. If this was the case then this is again circumstantial evidence of the flood. 51

When after the flood, the oxygen level dropped from 35% to 21%, the alleged dinosaurs could not survive anymore with their proportionally undersized lungs. The Science Forum states, Oxygen Deprivation Caused Dinosaur Extinction. 1 Minute bubbles of ancient air trapped by successive flows of tree resin during the life of the tree are preserved in the amber. Analyses of the gases in these bubbles show that the Earth‘s atmosphere contained nearly 35 percent oxygen compared to present levels of 21 percent. Results are based upon more than 300 analyses by USGS 2 scientists of Cretaceous, Tertiary, and recent-age amber from 16 world sites. Your Honour, at present we have, Hyperbaric OXYGEN THERAPY for Wound Healing When injured we can put the patient or the athlete in a high oxygen cabin. The wound and /or injury will recover much quicker. We can also simply wrap a plastic bag loosely around the wound and fill it with a high level of oxygen and the process of healing has proven much faster for the patient. With the waters above the firmament in place, the entire atmosphere of the Earth would have been shielded from the intense levels of cosmic radiation. 52

The 14C radio carbon atoms would have been missing or barely present in the biosphere and in living organisms, such as plants and animals from before the flood. The less 14C is found in a fossil, the older it is estimated to be with carbon-dating. Hence, the fossils from before the flood will date much older than they really are, as they have practically no traces of 14C, since the Earth was shielded from the cosmic rays by the waters above the firmament. In theory this 14C dating should work, but in practice this is not always the case. As the Professor said, only one carbon 14 atom exists in nature for every 1,000,000,000,000 (1 trillion) C12 atoms in living material, so it is highly unlikely that carbon-dating can be accurate. THE RUBIDIUM-STRONTIUM TECHNIQUE This technique is for dating rocks and non-living matter, according to the amount of Rubidium or Strontium element found in the matter. The following shows that this technique is also not accurate. 'Geologist Dr. Steve Austin sampled basalt from the base of the Grand Canyon strata and from the lava that spilled over the edge of the canyon. By evolutionary reckoning, the latter should be at least a billion years younger than the basalt from the bottom. 'Standard Laboratories' analyzed the isotopes. The rubidium-strontium isochron technique suggested that the recent lava flow was 270 Ma* older than the basalts beneath the Grand Canyon — an impossibility. (* 1 Ma represents 1 million years) In the study of the Grand Canyon rocks by Austin, different techniques gave different results. Again, all sorts of reasons can be suggested for the 'bad' dates, but this is again posterior reasoning. Techniques that give results that can be dismissed, just because they don't agree with what we already believe, cannot be considered objective. 53

The belief system, of molecules-to-man evolution over eons of time is so strongly entrenched, that it is not questioned—it is a 'fact'. So every observation must fit this pattern. The researchers, who are supposedly 'objective scientists' in the eyes of the public, select the observations to fit the basic belief system of evolution.' 1 Your Honour, we are taught that ancient man was less intelligent and modern man is much more advanced intellectually, but this makes no sense in the light of these archaeological discoveries. The evolutionist puts modern man at about 400,000 years old, with technological developments only within the past 40,000 years; however, we find man-made designs in layers of rock and coal that are according to carbon dating and evolution millions of years old. I read from 'The Hidden History of the Human Race', 'Nordling wrote: 'I visited a friend's museum in southern Missouri. Among his curios, he had the iron cup pictured on the enclosed snapshot.'

Metal pot found in coal, which was carbon-dated about 312 million years old. 54

At the private museum, the iron cup had been displayed along with the following affidavit, made by Frank J. Kenwood in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, on Nov. 27, 1948:' 'While I was working in the Municipal Electric Plant in Thomas, Okla. in 1912, I came upon a solid chunk of coal which was too large to use. I broke it with a sledge hammer. This iron pot fell from the center, leaving the impression or mould of the pot in the piece of coal. Jim Stall (an employee of the company) witnessed the breaking of the coal, and saw the pot fall out. I traced the source of the coal, and found that it came from the Wilburton, Oklahoma, Mines.' According to Robert O. Fay of the Oklahoma Geological Survey, the Wilburton mine coal is [dated by evolutionists at] about 312 million years old.' Your Honour, next I would like to refer to 'Jaredites: The Missing Civilization X', by Jim Hendleman. 1 'In 1944, as a ten-year-old boy, Newton Anderson dropped a large lump of coal (bituminous [black mixture of hydrocarbons, typically used for roofing and asphalt] coal mined near his home in Upshur County, West Virginia) in his basement. It broke open and he found that it contained a brass bell with an iron clapper inside. The bell is about 8-10 inches tall and generally resembles a school bell... On the outside, the bell's apparent brass handle resembles the overall native architectural features seen in Thailand, with an indistinct type of seated person... The Institute for Creation Research submitted the bell to the lab at the University of Oklahoma for analysis. 55

The lab's nuclear activation analysis revealed that the bell contains an unusual mix of metals, different from any known modern alloy production... COPPER, ZINC, TIN, ARSENIC, IODINE & SELENIUM.' Your Honour, we are taught that early man did not have knowledge to produce iron tools, however in the writings of my client, he wrote in his first book, 'Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron:' 1

Bell made of metal mixes that we don’t know in our modern industry.

Tubalcain was teaching others iron working, and the evidence of that is what we have just seen. Evolutionists all over the internet do their best to disregard these findings; many of them want these discoveries quickly buried. They're often called OOP-Art, which is short for, 'Out-Of-Place-Artifact'. ‗OOPs!‘ a very fitting name, as it shows up another fault. ‗OOPs!‘ in the missing-link theory of evolution, ‗OOPs!‘ Oops, my time is up as it is almost 5:00 o'clock.‖ The Justice announces, ―Dear members of the Jury, ladies and gentlemen, this brings us to the end of our first day. CHAPTER 5 ICE TIME, FLOOD ―All rise, this is the second day of the 'Evolution and Creation' case. Presiding over the case is the Lord Justice, Dr. E. Dict.‖ The Lord Justice asks, ―Professor, would you present us with your material?‖ THE ICE TIMES “I would like to present the following article: 1 The Pleistocene Epoch is typically defined as the time period that began about 1.8 million years ago and lasted until about 11,700 years ago. The most recent Ice Age occurred then, as glaciers covered huge parts of the planet Earth. There have been at least five documented major ice ages during the 4.6 billion years since the Earth was formed - and most likely many more before humans came on the scene about 2.3 million years ago. The Pleistocene Epoch is the first in which Homo Sapiens evolved, and by the end of the epoch humans could be found in nearly every part of the planet. The Pleistocene Epoch was the first epoch in the Quaternary Period and the sixth in the Cenozoic Era. It was followed by the current stage, called the Holocene Epoch. At present we are in an interglacial period—the Holocene—of the ice age that began 2.6 million years ago at the start of the Pleistocene epoch, because the Greenland, Arctic, and Antarctic ice sheets still exist. 57

In 'Science Daily' we learn: 1 Science has struggled to explain fully why an ice age occurs every 100,000 years. As researchers now demonstrate based on a computer simulation, not only do variations in insolation play a key role, but also the mutual influence of glaciated continents and climate. I present the following photographs of circumstantial evidence. MAMMOTHS This skeleton of a mammoth was found recently in Texas, which is circumstantial evidence that the ice age was not only happening in the poles but was worldwide. 58

A huge array of ice age fossils, including the bones of mammoths, turtles and horses, were uncovered at a California construction site this summer. The fossils found in Carlsbad, California, are 50,000 to 200,000 years old. Next, Your Honour, are Siberian scientists at work:

59

Exclusive: Siberian scientists announce they now have a 'high chance' to clone the woolly mammoth.1 Discovery of blood in a creature frozen for 43,000 years is seen as major breakthrough by the international team. 'The data we are about to receive will give us a high chance to clone the mammoth.' Mr. Khayrullin also acknowledged that the mammoth cannot be identical to the creatures that became extinct between 4,000 and 10,000 years ago. 'It will be a different mammoth to the one living 43,000 years ago, specially taking into account that there will be interbreeding with a female elephant. If and when experiments begin, an elephant will be the surrogate mother, enabling the species to be brought back from the dead. This is my presentation concerning the ice age, which I hope has convinced the Jury that such a time period truly existed. NOAH'S ARK? As far as Noah's ark is concerned, I don’t even want to waste my breath on it as it is the greatest hoax of all times. I will just read what Rudy Wittshirk writes: ‘To get a sense of the desperation behind the search for the wreck of Noah's Ark, consider this: It is wildly unlikely that Planet Earth was flooded, 4500 years ago, even up to, for instance, the 13,000 foot level of this most recently claimed discovery: “Evangelists claim Noah's Ark found - Mount Ararat explorers: 'We think it is 99.9 percent that this is it." The ark, as described in the Bible, was a wallowing tub. Some speculate it had rudimentary sails and "drogue anchors" (stones used as sea anchors) for stability. Others account for its survival by claiming there is no mention of stormy seas in the biblical story. However, I would think the purported huge amounts of water welling up from a crack in the Earth would have meant roiling, if not boiling seas. 60

Indeed one discoverer of Noah's ark claims that his find was washed up onto the mountain by a tsunami, not a flood. And somehow everyone on board survived that tsunami - and the Ark still retained its ship-shape after 4500 years. It does seem rather unlikely that a wooden (or reed-construction) vessel could have survived in recognizable form after 4,500 years on the side of a snow-covered mountain. Just look what happens to log cabins in Alaska after a few hundred years---they become as one with the Earth. Nevertheless, the searches go on. The main purpose for most searchers is to explicitly “prove the existence of God.” Creationists like John Morris also hope that finding the lost Ark would disprove evolution and prove the Bible. Other searchers are just intrigued by the story. It is a field ripe for deception… Thank you, Your Honour, this is all for now." ―The court calls on Mr. N. Voy to take the witness stand and present his material concerning creation.‖ MORE ON MAMMOTHS ―Your Honour, members of the Jury, as I mentioned earlier that as a child I always asked a lot of questions and I still do today. I quote here from Science News: 'The ice-age ice masses accumulate over tens of thousands of years and recede within the space of a few thousand years.' Many mammoths were found, complete with sub-tropical vegetation still in their mouths. Maybe the mammoths were not very intelligent, but I cannot believe that any mammoth ‗in his right mind‘ would happily be eating his grass and subtropical vegetation, while ice was forming around him and he or she was turning into a block of ice. 61

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

That somehow does not add up. I read the rest of the article of The Siberian Times that the Professor presented about the possibility of cloning this mammoth. I honestly stand in awe of the technology that science has discovered, to able to attempt such a feat. Further on in the same article we read: 'Radik Khayrullin said, 'the blood we have obtained is 'agonised' which means that the mammoth died an unnatural death, it must have been in agony for 16, 18 hours. This is also confirmed by the position of the body, with its back leg stretched in an unnatural way. 'We think this was a female mammoth that fell into an ice hole and couldn't escape.' My client writes: 'In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and floodgates of heaven were opened.' 1 Your Honour, for the sake of brevity I was going to leave the day and month out, however this shows how exact my client is. He does not say between 1,000,000 to 1,800,000 years ago. No, my client gives the exact year, month and day. As I explained yesterday from my client‘s writings there were waters above the firmament, besides the waters under the firmament and there were the waters of the deep. My client told Noah, 'While the earth remains seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.' 2 When this protective layer was removed, the different climate zones came into existence: the colder polar zones and the warmer climates. 62

1. Genesis 7:11

2. Genesis 8:22

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

This water above the firmament came down in the form of ice crystals, hail and snow in the colder regions. HOW THE MAMMOTHS FROZE Hence when the ice, hail and snow fell in the polar zones it consequently froze everything in its path, including the huge mammoths whose climate changed from subtropical to an instant complete deep-freezer.

Just like we read earlier in The Siberian Times. ‗The mammoth died an unnatural death, it must have been in agony for 16, 18 hours . . . its back legs stretched in an unnatural way.‘ Obviously the mammoth could not support the weight of the ice and its back legs slipped away and it died an agonizing death. On the other hand in the tropical and subtropical climates the water fell as rain. That is why it is recorded in my client‘s writing as rain. 'And the rain was upon the earth forty days,' 1 63

Your Honour, it might be seen by some as a simplistic explanation, but I like things not too complicated so I can understand them. MASS FOSSIL GRAVES? The fossils found in Carlsbad, California.' 1 Did they decide, 'Hey guys, let‘s cuddle up here and die together.'?

I highly doubt it. Or is it more likely that the violent flood waters swept them off their feet and they ended up in a big heap? Here we have a photo of a mammoth calf discovered in May, 2007. I quote, 'The death seems to have occurred . . . when it froze rapidly and then it was wrapped by mud, a process that allowed the preservation of the body. The mammoth calf is still frozen.' 2 64

Your Honour, the ice coming down was freezing the calf. The fountains from the deep formed the mud and the calf was frozen solid in the mud. If we can accept that my client meant what he said, then it becomes straightforward. To me this is circumstantial evidence that the flood really happened. Thank you, this is all for now.‖ ―There will now be a 30-minute coffee break till 11:00 o'clock, after which Mr. N. Voy will take the stand for creation. CHAPTER 6 NOAH'S ARK ―Mr. N. Voy please take the witness stand for creation.‖ ―Your Honour, Noah‘s Ark has been a story for children that has inspired many artists with drawings of animals, boats and rainbows. WHY THE FLOOD? My client writes, I will read it in first person, 'And I saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. I was sorry that I had made man, and it grieved my heart. The earth also was corrupt before me, and the earth was filled with violence.

The earth was corrupt

Filled with violence continually

And I said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is before me; for the earth is filled with violence; and I will destroy them with the earth.

Man's heart- only evil

Make an ark of gopher wood; The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits (150 meters), the breadth of it fifty cubits (25 meters), and the height of it thirty cubits (15 meters) . . . with lower, second, and third stories. . And Noah did according unto all that I commanded him.' 1 Your Honour, my client knew how to build ships. Modern day oil-tankers are still built according to the approximate dimensions set by my client to build the Ark. (see drawings) 67

A longer vessel than the Ark was not built until 1858 when I. K. Brunel produced the Great Eastern some 692 feet (211 meters) long. But this was made of steel. Large oil tankers are still built to the approximate dimensions of the Ark

The Ark is still the largest wooden vessel ever built. Between 1856 to 1974 an estimated 200 people from 23 countries claimed they saw Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat. (Balsiger & Sellier 1974 pg. 203)

I quote Paul Zimansky, Professor of Archaeology and Ancient History, Stony Brook University. (Ph.D., University of Chicago, 1980) “I don‟t know of any expedition that ever went looking for the Ark and did not find it.” “Objection, objection. Your Honour, we are getting carried away with nothing but religious irrational fantasies.” ―Professor, I advise you to watch your words.‖ “Your Honour, but this is quite stressful for me. Let me just read this article, as the witness for creation is lying, CIA report, April 28, 2013. ’The search for physical remains of Noah’s Ark has held a fascination for many people since at least the third century. Despite many expeditions, no material evidence of the ark has been found.’ 68

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Your Honour, if the CIA cannot find it then I doubt the authenticity of these so-called expeditions." ―Mr. N. Voy, please continue.‖ ―My client writes in Genesis 8:4, 'And the ark rested . . . upon the mountains of Ararat' ‗There is an anomaly (something unusual) located on the northwest corner of the Western Plateau of Mount Ararat (approximately 39°42′10″N, 44°16′30″E) at about 15,500 feet (4,724 meters), some 2.2 kilometers west of the summit, on what appears in photographs to be a steep downward slope. It was first filmed during a U.S. Air Force aerial reconnaissance mission in 1949 - the Ararat massif sits on the Turkish/Soviet border‘. 1 Your Honour, I will limit my circumstantial evidence to a few pages, as the amount of evidence is overwhelming. Flying parallel to Mt. Ararat at 14.000 feet a U.S. Air Force plane on a low level reconnaissance mission first photographed the Anomaly on June 17, 1949. 1887 John Joseph Nouri, Nestorian Archdeacon, had visited the Ark, during an expedition to the source of the Euphrates. ‗The wood was peculiar, dark reddish in color, almost iron colored in fact, and seemed very thick‘. During Chicago World Fair 1893, he tried to raise funds to have the Ark disassembled, transported and reconstructed at the Fair. 1890s Arthur Chuchian, an American, claimed that his father Jacob Chuchian saw the Ark numerous times during his childhood. ‗The Ark, which has a reddish-brown color, rests on a type of cleft or ledge near a steep drop off and is surrounded by the other three sides by walls of rock and lies north-south direction.‘ 1902 – 1905 George Hagopian, an Armenian living in the USA, declared to have visited the Ark twice during his childhood, once with his uncle, when he was ten years old and another time on his own. 70

Everyone stated it was Noah‘s Ark. About 10 meters of the structure was protruding from the ice.‘ From a 1996 interview; Bill: 'The whole squadron of six mapping planes was abuzz about Noah‘s Ark and everyday some plane 'accidentally' went by Ararat to see it. You practically needed a control tower around Ararat that summer. After seeing the photos, we were convinced that the structure was Noah‟s Ark.' 2008 Here we see Ahmet Ertugrul in the Ark; he was born in the region of Mount Ararat. 71

Your Honour, I do not know the authenticity of this picture. But this is what it would have looked like, before it broke in two. In 1954 it was still whole. A team in 1974 said that the smaller broken-off section was visible on the ledge 30 to 50 feet below the main structure. HISTORIAN JOSEPHUS The first century Jewish historian, who also worked for the Roman Empire, Flavius Josephus 1 covers much of the history in his book ‘Antiquities of the Jews’ and mentions the following concerning Noah's Ark: The ark rested on the top of a certain mountain in Armenia . . . However, the Armenians call this place, αποβατηριον 'The Place of Descent'; for Josephus 37-100 A.D. the ark being saved in that place, its remains are shown there by the inhabitants to this day. 74

Now all the writers of barbarian histories make mention of this flood, and of this ark; among whom is Berossus. For when he is describing the circumstances of the flood, he goes on thus: 'It is said there is still some part of this ship in Armenia, at the mountain of the Cordyaeans; and that some people carry off pieces of the bitumen, which they take away, and use chiefly as amulets for the averting of mischiefs.' Hieronymus the Egyptian also, who wrote the Phoenician Antiquities, and Mnaseas, and a great many more, makes mention of the same. Nay, Nicolaus of Damascus, in his ninety-sixth book, hath a particular relation about them; where he speaks thus: 'There is a great mountain in Armenia, over Minyas, called Baris, upon which it is reported that many who fled at the time of the Deluge were saved; and that one who was carried in an ark came on shore upon the top of it; and that the remains of the timber were a great while preserved.' 1 (End of 'Antiquity of the Jews' reading)

―Consider the word for 'boat' and 'large boat' in Chinese:

'Then Noah and his sons (Shem, Ham & Japheth) and his wife and his sons' wives with him entered the ark (8 in total) because of the flood.' 2 The Ark was a boat which carried eight persons, and the Chinese character for 'large boat' is a boat with eight persons. 3 My client writes, 'And I blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.' 4 75

Japheth's family moved north and they are the forefathers of the Europeans and Slavs. Shem's descendants largely populated the Middle East and Asia, while Ham's offspring covered partly the Middle East but mainly Africa. Your Honour, according to the dates of my client the flood happened 2501 B.C., or over 4500 years ago. Let me read you excepts of the following article: 1 BEAKER FOLKS The largest ever study on ancient DNA has shown that Britain was changed forever by the arrival of the Beaker folk, a wave of migrants about 4,500 years ago who brought with them new customs, new burial practices, and beautiful, distinctive bell-shaped pottery . . . Geneticist Ian Barnes, from the Natural History Museum in London, said: “. . . Following the Beaker spread, there was a population in Britain that for the first time had ancestry and skin The grave of a 16-18 year old female & and eye pigmentation similar to the a 17-20 year old male - @ 2000 B.C. majority of Britons today.” Many questions remain, including where the Beaker culture originated. "In Britain the puzzle remains of what happened to the pre-Beaker population: people who . . . were capable of stupendous communal projects such as the construction of Stonehenge and the giant artificial hill of Silbury." Ian Armit, an archaeologist from the University of Bradford, "It’s not necessarily a story of violent conquest . . . We could be looking at climate change . . . But we certainly now have the evidence that they were replaced – and they never came back.” Your Honour, it is almost embarrassing as the answer is so simple: These Beaker folks that came were the offspring of Japheth, 'with skin and eye pigmentation similar to the majority of Britons today.' 76

Dear members of the Jury, this climate change was the great flood and that is why they never came back, but were shortly after the flood replaced by the children of Japheth. CHAPTER 7 SNAKES, 14C DATING, DINOSAURS “It is 1:30 and Professor it is your turn to take the stand.” “Your Honour, it is not all as simple as the witness makes it out to be. Things are more complex than a story of a boat on the water carrying a family and animals. Your Honour, to me it is beyond comprehension that people actually believe this. The plant and animal world and the human development is far more complicated than the childlike stories of Adam and Eve in a garden and Noah and his family going with the animals in a boat. I think that as adults we have outgrown this Sunday school nonsense. SNAKES I would like to show you something that one of my esteemed colleagues Dr. David Martill, Ph.D.1 Martill says, ‘The new snake hints at how these legless, slithering serpents evolved from four-legged, striding lizards. Martill called the creature Tetrapodophis: four-legged snake. ‘This little animal is the Archaeopteryx of the squamate world,’ he says. (Squamates are the snakes and lizards.) Archaeopteryx is the feathered fossil whose mish-mash of features hinted at the evolutionary transition from dinosaurs to birds. In the same way,’ Martill says, ‘the new snake hints at how Tetrapodophis hindlimb (Credit: David Martill) these legless, slithering serpents evolved from four-legged, striding lizards.’ 79

Jacques Gauthier Ph.D., (Professor of Geology and Geophysics, Curator Vertebrate Paleontology and Vertebrate Zoology) says about the Tetrapodophis: ‘It maintains many classic snake features, such as a short snout, long Tetrapodophis forelimb (Credit: David Martill) braincase, elongated body, scales, fanged teeth and a flexible jaw to swallow large prey. It also maintains the typical vertebrae structure seen in modern-day snakes that allows for the extreme flexibility required to constrict prey. The main, glaring difference is Tetrapodophis‘ four limbs.’ 1 The newly discovered species Tetrapodophis amplectus, which lived during the Early Cretaceous 146 to 100 million years ago. Dr. Houssaye says in a BBC interview: ‘Two theories compete. One points to a land origin in which lizards started to burrow, and as they adapted to their subterranean existence, their legs were reduced and lost first the fore-limbs and then the hind-limbs. The second theory considers the origin to be in water, from marine reptiles. This makes the few known bipedal snakes in the fossil record hugely significant, because they could hold the clues that settle this particular debate.’ 2 Your Honour, Dr. Houssaye closes her interview with these words, ‘This study does not enable us to choose between the two hypotheses. In fact, a true answer might not be brought before 10 years.’ 80

It shows how both our researches overlap. This particular part shows the excitement of Dr. Martill, ‗And then, if my jaw hadn‘t already dropped enough, it dropped right to the floor. The little creature had a pair of hind legs. I thought: bloody hell! And I looked closer and the little label said: Unknown fossil. Understatement! I looked even closer—and my jaw was already on the floor by now—and I saw that it had tiny little front legs!‘ He says, ‗Fossil-hunters have found several extinct snakes with stunted hind legs, and modern boas and pythons still have a pair of little spurs. But no snake has ever been found with four legs. This is a once-in-alifetime discovery.‘ Study puts new perspective on snake evolution. January 5, 2015. ‗When combined with information from fossils, these findings indicate that the direction of SNAKE EVOLUTION IS THE OPPOSITE of what had been concluded from developmental genetics alone, Head and Polly say.‘ 1 I quote, 'Snakes . . . their evolutionary origins are obscure . . . no snake has been described with four limbs, and the ecology of snakes is poorly known.' 2 81

Before I refer to my client‘s writing, I would like to refer to the Professor‘s presentation and the closing words of Dr. Houssaye in her BBC interview, ‗This study does not enable us to choose between the two hypotheses. In fact, a true answer might not be brought before 10 years.‘ What if we don‘t have to wait 10 years for the true answer? My client writes; I will read his words in first person, 'And the woman said, ‘The snake enticed me.’ And I said unto the serpent, because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, dust shall you eat all the days of your life:' 1 This seems to indicate that before the flood, humans and animals could communicate and converse, as otherwise the woman (Eve) would have run the other way. Prior to this the snake had legs, but lost his legs because he was cursed to go on his belly. I will not go into all the spiritual reasons why my client was upset with the snake, but could this be the true answer for Dr. Houssaye? The Professor bursts out in a loud laugh, “This is total absolute nonsense. Total rubbish! I can’t believe that we even listen to this! Adam and Eve and the apple, where are everybody's brains at?” 82

―ORDER IN THE COURT! Professor, please leave the courtroom. You have had ample of warnings. Please excuse yourself and I will call you back in when it is your turn to speak.‖ “Your Honour, that we even listen to this, is beyond me. This is so ridiculous this borders on childlike insanity. Adam and Eve, the apple and the snake.” ―Professor, please excuse yourself, or otherwise I will have to ask the security to assist.‖

The Professor gets up, red in the face and as he passes Mr. N. Voy he scowls, “You are a God-damned idiot. Do you know that?” The Justice sighs, ―You may continue Mr. N. Voy.‖ ―Your Honour, I know that these things might be hard to believe, but I am not here to pick a fight, I am just here to present the writings of my client and that is all there is to it. It is not for me to prove him right. He is well capable of doing that himself, however in this case I am only to present his writings. I just felt sorry for the Professor that he called on my client‘s name when he wished me ill. 83

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Funny how my client is in people‘s mind connected to the negative. When bad things happen to us personally or in the world at large my client often gets the blame for it, even by people that say they don‘t believe he exists. We truly are amazing creatures, Your Honour. Concerning the four-legged snake I wanted to end with a quote again from Dr. David Martill, ‗But no snake has ever been found with four legs. This is a once-in-alifetime discovery.‘ I don‘t think fossil hunters will find many more as there were probably only a few snakes in the Garden of Eden. Actually I am amazed that this fossil was discovered in the museum in Solnhofen, Germany, by Dr. Martill. I am happy for this precious fossil find and that the Professor brought it up in the court case, because for me it is another circumstantial evidence of my client‘s writings. MORE ON CARBON-14 (14C) DATING I am however still concerned about the dates given by means of carbon 14 dating, and I repeat, prior to the flood the Earth was shielded by the waters above the firmament from the cosmic carbon 14 rays. If very little carbon 14 is found in the fossils they are considered very old. Carbon 14 dating is measured according to today‘s environmental conditions, which at present is radically different than the conditions before the flood when it was practically totally carbon 14 free. Hence these dates of millions and billions of years are incorrect. Your Honour, members of the Jury, it goes like this: If it has 100% 14C then it is 0 years old. If it has 50% 14C then it is 5730 years old. If it has 25% 14C then it is 11.460 years old. If it has 12.5% 14C then it is 17.190 years old. If it has 6.25% 14C then it is 22.920 years old. If it has 3.125% 14C then it is 28.650 years old. 84

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

So every time the percentage (%) goes down by half, then you add 5730 years. 14C comes to Earth in the sun cosmic rays. That is why dinosaur bones and things that lived before the flood are practically 14C free, because of the protective water/ice shield that protected the Earth from these harmful rays before the flood. Seeing that there is no 14C in these fossils, they are guesstimated to be millions or billions of years old, while they are only a little over 4,500 to approximately 6,000 years old according to my client. I don‘t think that I can repeat this point enough, as this is a major cornerstone of evolution, which holds no water. CO-HABITATION OF MAN AND DINOSAURS

Artist's conception of dinosaurs without humans

One last thing that I forgot to mention this morning is about the dinosaurs is that evolution teaches us that man evolved tens of millions of years after the dinosaurs became extinct. However since in 1908, George Adams discovered 14 giant human footprints beside 134 dinosaur footprints in the limestone of Paluxy Creek riverbed in Glen Rose, Texas. 85

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

I had to laugh, as this is also maligned as another hoax and that these were 'carved' footprints. Who would waste time to carve 14 human footprints, each two feet length, and double the size of present day footprints, along at least 134 dinosaur tracks in a river bed? Dr. Philip Kitcher, in his anti-creationist book Abusing Science, claims that solid evidence that dinosaurs and man co-existed would 'shake the foundations of evolutionary theory.' (1998, p. 121)

Your Honour, this is a part of a cave pictograph in the Amazon Rainforest, depicting a Sauropod Dinosaur with nine hunters encircling the dinosaur. Obviously the dinosaur is alive, as one of the hunters raises his spear getting ready to strike. 1 Professor Strahler 2 writes on page 17 in Science and Earth History: The Evolution / Creation Controversy, 'it is conceivable that a scientist will someday discover human bones among dinosaur bones in such a relationship that it is judged highly likely that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time. Such a finding would deal a crushing blow to the widely favored hypothesis of a unique evolutionary sequence. .' 86

CHAPTER 8 LANGUAGES, THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE The clock in the courtroom shows 3:30. The Lord Justice speaks: ―During the recess the members of the Jury and myself, as well as the Professor and Mr. N. Voy have had different discussions. Seeing the controversy that is surrounding the case, as well as the emotional occurences, the Jury and I came to the conclusion that for the sake of the presentations and circumstantial evidences, both the Professor and Mr. N. Voy need to be present in the courtroom. However, for the smooth running of the case, each will have a security person standing with him. Both have accepted this mandate and have promised to keep their emotions under control. Let the case resume. The court calls on the Professor to present his material.‖ “Your Honour, members of the Jury, I had some time to reflect and am sure that people, who open their eyes, will see the difference between science and religion. CONTINENTAL DRIFTS The next part of the evolution theory that I would like to present is how the world developed and how the world was once one giant continent which gradually drifted apart over a period of millions of years. 89

This simple drawing shows how it all fitted together: We went from the late TRIASSIC to the Early, Mid and Late JURASSIC time periods, from then on to the Early and Late CRETACIOUS periods.

Late Triassic

With the continents drifting further apart, eventually these continental shifts settled. Between 200,000 and 40,000 years ago, the Homo Sapiens evolved into the human race and started branching out from Africa. They slowly started populating the Earth. They became more inquisitive and more driven to discover new things and some 12,000 years ago reached the Americas. The continents drifting apart, as it shows on the following chart.

LANGUAGES Each group or family of Homo Sapiens developed their own communication skills, which eventually became a spoken language and then much later the more developed intellectual groups started writing these languages in drawings and scripts. One thing I forgot to mention concerning the Smithsonian Institute, that it is administered by the Government of the United States, with affiliates around the world and is a dedicated promoter of evolution. I will read to the court the list of books concerning the origins of our present day languages.” At present linguists estimate about 62 root languages.

Your Honour, this is a chart of the basic languages, and how they are divided worldwide. This presents a total of 62 language families. Much of the study of these ‘family languages’ is taken from books of the Smithsonian Institute". The Justice interrupts, ―Thank you, Professor, please hand us the list and we will keep it with the evidence material.‖ The Professor passes the following list to the judge. 91

―Your Honour, an interesting point is that after the flood the oxygen level was 60% of what it was before, and the protective water filter against the harmful cosmic rays was now gone. Thus my client told Noah and his family that they should eat meat. This was for extra protein and strength, as they were vegetarians 1 till then. ‘Every moving thing that lives will be meat for you; even as the green herb’ 2 LANGUAGES My client also told Noah and his three sons, ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.’ 3 Now they pretty much all obeyed in multiplying, but not all obeyed to scatter with their families throughout the Earth, which the Professor explained was one large continent. Not all of Noah‘s children and grandchildren wanted to pack up and go pioneering after the flood. A number of them decided to stay together, just like we do nowadays. We crowd together in cities, where money is quick and we can do as we like, as we can disappear in the mass of humanity. They decided under the leadership of Nimrod 4 to build a tremendous high tower in the plains of Shinar in Iraq. This ministered to their arrogance and pride and things got from bad to worse, so much so that they imagined building the top so high, that they could reach heaven. Concerning the origin of the different languages, my client writes, ‘They have all one language; and this they begin to do: . . . let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So my client scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth . . . Therefore is the name of it called Babel.’ 5 Your Honour, the linguists will tell us that all languages originated from one language. The Professor shows that there are 62 major root languages. I will not contest this, although from other supporting writings I believe that there might have been 70 after my client confused their language. 6 93

It seemed that for the tower he opened up a huge sink-hole into which a large part disappeared. 1 'Archaeologists hope to save the ruins of the Biblical era Tower of Babel, located in Iraq, and learn how it was built. . . . All this is unexcavated. There is great potential at this site.' 2 THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE Your Honour, my client confused their language and the population split into families, tribes, and language groups to different parts of the world. Shortly after that we have the continental divide. My client mentions this continental drift. He does not say a lot about it except that it occurred about a century after the flood.‖ The Professor can‘t help but laugh and was about to make a comment, when the gentle but strong hand of the security guard came to rest on his shoulder. The Justice, although noticing what happened, preferred not to comment and was visibly relieved to be distracted by the security person bringing in a big cup of take-away coffee, which the Justice had to forego during the recess discussions. Mr. N. Voy continues. ―Your Honour, my client writes in Genesis, 'Shem. . begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: (Gen 11:10) And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: (Gen 11:12) And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: (Gen 11:14) And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: (Gen 11:16) And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.' (Gen 10:25) (Joktan means that the ages of the people were diminishing)

This is a total of 101 years from the flood till the Continental Divide. 94

Seeing that a baby boy was born to Eber at that time, he decided to call him Peleg, meaning division. One thing it faithfully says about all these people is that they begat sons and daughters. In those days it was an honour to have a big family. One plus one did not just make one or two, but at least one or two dozen. Like I mentioned earlier Japheth moved north and is the forefather of Europeans. Shem's family covered the Middle East and Asia, while Ham's offspring populated partly the Middle East but mainly Africa. The different regions together, also known as the Pangaea continent had already people living on them, before these land-masses divided and moved away. Thus certain populations on separate continents have similar features as they originate from the same ancestors. North America had mostly intelligent, warmhearted people, who lived in relative peace, hunting, smoking their peace-pipes and making colourful clothes, until their European family rediscovered them. Some of the first new immigrants wanted friendship and spoke of my client, for which the native population was thankful as they only knew my client as the ‗Great White Spirit‘. They interacted and helped each other, but then the greedy ones arrived with their guns and armies. And the peaceful heaven on Earth became a living hell, as they were slaughtered by the greedy ones, who stole their lands, hunting grounds, riches and destroyed their culture. 95

A sad tale really! However, everyone will have to give account one day, not only to my client, but also to the people that they raped and slaughtered.‖ The Professor is getting edgy, but with the security man standing next to him, he decides to hold it in. HOW THE TECTONIC PLATES MOVE ―Back to the great divide. I quote from Cosmos Feb. 16, 2015. 1 ‗Any geologist will tell you the Earth‘s crust is broken into tectonic plates that 'float' around like gigantic rafts. But just what these rafts have been floating on is a mystery until now. A team of New Zealand scientists detonated tons of dynamite and listened for echoes to reveal the underbelly of the Pacific plate. They found a 10 kilometer thick channel of lubricating jelly-like rock, which they say allows the plate to slide above it, according to a report in Nature. The jelly adds weight to the idea that gravity is the driving force pulling the plates along. As one edge of the plate is being dragged under, the low friction jelly layer means the rest of the plate just slithers after it like a ski on snow.‘ Your Honour, here we see the San Andreas Fault line. The next photo is the Mid Atlantic Ridge. These are sliding boundaries between the plates. As the continents moved apart other tectonic plates were being dragged under, while the ocean tidal waves and tsunamis rolled into the spaces that were sinking down like the present day Atlantic Ocean. 96

HOW DID THE HIGH MOUNTAINS FORM? The collision of the Indo-Australian tectonic plate with the Eurasian plate formed the Himalayas. Due to the continued plate movement, the region experiences many earthquakes, as we saw recently in Nepal. Seeing that South America moved westward, it seems that the Nazca plate slipped under it pushing up the Andes mountains. In 1953 Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay climbed Mount Everest of 29,030 feet, or 8848 meters high. When they got up to the altitude of 26,000 feet, or 7924 meters, they began to find sea shells. That is 3030 feet, or 924 meters, from the summit. How's that possible? Did mussels climb mountains? Or else were the Himalayas much lower, before the tectonic plate movement, during the time of the flood? Seashells can be found on any mountain. Because of the violent waves, the deposits of seashells settled in the mud on the Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay on the mountains and the mountain summit of Mount Everest - 1953 bases. Mount Everest was during the flood only 3,030 feet high, as 29,030 feet minus 26,000 is 3,030 feet. Therefore from 26,000 feet upwards to the top is where the shells can be found. Then during the great continental divide and the collision of the IndoAustralian tectonic plate with the Eurasian plate, the Himalayas were forced and pushed to a much higher altitude, and Mount Everest in particular was pushed up by 26,000 feet. Hence we do not find seashells below 26,000 feet. 97

29,030 feet = 8,848 meters 26,000 feet = 7,925 meters 3,030 feet = 924 meters

On this photo it shows how the tectonic plates pushed, and still push against each other, to form mountain ranges. HOW HIGH WERE THE MOUNTAINS AND THE FLOOD WATERS? The thickness of the Antarctic ice wall and the North Pole is difficult to determine. The ice wall seems to be around 150 to 200 feet high. NASA states that the ice goes as high as 4000 meters above sea level.1 If this is correct then this would be how high the waters of the flood were, as the ice that came down stayed frozen solid, and did not recede like the rest of the worldwide flood waters. NASA research 2 states that the ice cap thickens 0.7 inch yearly. That means at the end of the flood 4500 years ago it was 4500 X 0.7 = 3150 inches or 263 feet less. If this information is correct then the height of the flood waters was roughly 12,860 feet, or 3920 meters. My client writes, '. . all the high mountains . . . were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.' 3 More than 15 cubits is at least 23 feet, or 7 meters. With simple math that makes the highest mountains 12,860 - 23 = 12,837 feet, or 3,913 meters high before the continental drifts. The seashells were deposited on the lower mountains during the flood. Then during the continental divide these were pushed up, or whole sea-beds with shells could have been elevated to become mountains. 98

It clearly shows that the highest mountain ranges were formed with the shifting of the tectonic plates, during the great continental divide a good hundred years after the flood. The shifting of tectonic plates and the moving of the continents was a tremendous upheaval, with whole cities and regions like Atlantis and pyramids sliding underwater. We find them everywhere: off the coasts of India, Greece, Japan, Portugal, Italy, Cuba, South America, etc. 1 Today we still discover new underwater structures that sank down into the oceans.

Pyramid near the coast of Portugal

City off the coast of Italy

This enormous pyramid is near Yonaguni, Japan. The size of the blocks shows that it was most likely pre-diluvian, or from before the flood, as in those days there were 'giants in the land' that were able to move these enormous stone blocks. Professor Masaki Kimura, geologist at Ryukyu University in Okinawa, ―This could only have been done by a people with a high degree of technology . . . to have created such a huge structure.‖ The people before the flood and right after the flood lived for centuries and accumilated during their lifetime vast knowledge, and were able to develop technologies and buildings that still baffle us, like the Great Pyramid of Giza, built with a precision that our current technology cannot yet replicate. 2 99

Discovered by Paul Weinzweig and Pauline Zalitzki. Many more mysterious structures are in the Bermuda Triangle. Also named the 'Devil‘s Triangle', because of the mysterious disappearances in the area. In June 2013, Greek archaeologists announced ancient underwater city in the gulf of Alykanas in Zakynthos. The next photograph is the entrance to an ancient temple off the coast of India. Your Honour, I can guarantee the court that it was not the Homo Sapiens running around with clubs, living in caves that built these amazing structures. My client is often accused, that if he is so concerned for this world, then why does he not do anything about the mess? He has been constantly trying to stop the arrogance and murders and violence, with floods, confusing the languages and by scattering the people throughout the world, and sometimes allowing difficult things in our life in order to see if we will want to change for the better. He has been trying to pick good people that he could work with like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses to whom he gave ten simple laws, which we as lawless should go by. Then there were the prophets and finally my client sent his son, Jesus, to show us how to live in love. He has literally been trying to do his utmost to keep us somewhat going in the right direction. However instead of being thankful we get arrogant and show him the finger.‖ The Professor raises his hand, “Your Honour, can the witness keep to circumstantial evidence?‖ ―Objection sustained!‖ “In order to go forward in the research concerning our origins we need to drop these old fashioned mindsets, because as we can see and hear the witness is obviously stuck in the past.‖ 101

CHAPTER 9 FURTHER EVIDENCE, MISSING DAY, BIBLE CODE ―All rise! This is day three of the 'Evolution and Creation' court case. Presiding over the case is the honourable Lord Justice, Dr. E. Dict.‖ The Justice speaks, ―Good morning, please be seated. We call on Mr. N. Voy, as he had requested this time to present further circumstantial evidence from his client‘s writing. The Professor excused himself from this session. Sir, you have 1 hr 30 minutes.‖ ―Your Honour, the Israelites leaving Egypt, called 'the Exodus' is by many seen as a fraud. However when Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt, my client showed them as they went. He directed them step by step, but he could only lead them after they had pulled up stake, and after they had decided to leave and thumb their noses at the powers that tried to control them. Only then my client could lead them to the Red Sea. It would have been impossible to cross that Red Sea, which is about 500 to 2500 meters deep, with steep inclines. But my client led them to the only place in the Red Sea where there is a shallow crossing, and brought them safely across the underwater land bridge at Nuweiba, Egypt. 103

Yet, it was deep enough to drown the Egyptian army. 'And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them . . . and my client troubled the host of the Egyptians . . . And took off their chariot wheels . . . Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea . . . And the waters returned, and covered the chariots . . .' 1 The wheels of the Egyptian army chariots are still being discovered as we can see from these photographs. 2

The Missing Day - 23:20 + 40 mins. As told by Mr. Harold Hill

―At NASA, Green Belt, Maryland, they were checking the position of the sun, moon, and planets out in space, where they would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. . . We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite, and where the planets will be, so the whole thing will not bog down. They ran the computer measurements back and forth over the centuries and it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong, either with the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards. They found there is a day missing in space over the measurements in elapsed time. They searched and searched for a solution. But after many days there was no answer to be found. Finally, someone on the team said, ―You know, one time I was in Sunday school and they talked about the sun standing still.‖ While the others didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, ―Show us.‖ They found where Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed, and hasted not to go down about a whole day!' 1 They checked the computers going back into the time. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes--not a full 24 hour day. They read it again and it said 'about a day.' If you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1,000 years from now. The 40 minutes had to be found, because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. 105

That same employee remembered that somewhere it was written in the Bible that the sun went backwards. The scientists told him he was out of his mind. However they decided to check it out and they read the following in 2nd Kings. King Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said, 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?' Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.' 1 Isaiah spoke to my client and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes! Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in 2nd Kings make the missing day in the universe! Mr. Harold Hill used the missing day in his speeches throughout the sixties. James S. Lacy, from the Office of Public Relations for NASA, wrote in a letter that the only trace they could find of a Harold Hill having any connection with NASA was a person who was involved in contracting for the operations and maintenance of some diesel engine operations.

Mr. Harold Hill

Mr. Hill has been called a hoax and maligned as a fraud on the internet and that his story is a lie. Dr. Wernher von Braun was the director of NASA. It was under his leadership that the alleged "moon-landing of the Apollo 11" was supposed to have taken place in 1969. This was during the time that Harold Hill was using the missing day story in his speeches. 106

NASA has no records (for the public?) about a Missing Day and hardly any records of who Mr. Harold Hill is. IT IS CONVENIENTLY AVOIDED THAT MR. HAROLD HILL WAS A FRIEND OF DR. WERNHER VON BRAUN. Dr. Wernher von Braun, 1912-'77

Why would Dr. von Braun in his well-thought-of and high placed position, being an acquaintance of President Kennedy, keep friendship with a ‗liar and religious crackpot‘ like Harold Hill, unless maybe Mr. Hill did speak the truth? That Mr. Hill was no stranger to NASA shows in the fact that both Dr. Wernher von Braun and the 'astronaut' James Irwin, wrote a foreword in Mr. Hills book, 'From Goo to you by the way of the Zoo' published in 1976.

SUPPORTING HISTORICAL RECORDS on missing day: 

Aztec priests related to the Spanish scholar Bernadino de Sahagun (1499-1590) that the sun had acted in a most unusual way in the ancient past. He wrote that the Aztecs reported that in ancient times both the sun and the moon stood still shortly after sunrise. (Bernadino de Sahagun ‘Historia General de las Cosas de Nueva Espana’, VII,2 -1946)

Professor P. Jensen reported that the ancient Babylonians have an account of a ―day twice the natural length‖ (P. Jensen ‘Die Kosmologie der Babylonier’, 39 -1890)

In the sixteenth century Mexican text ‘Annals of Cuauhtitlan’, which records the history of the Culhuacan empire in ancient Mexico, there is a record of a night that extended far longer than normal. (‘Annals of the Cuauhtitlan’, trans.) 107

CHAPTER 10 OUR ORIGINS ACCORDING TO EVOLUTION ―Professor, please take the witness stand and present your evidence.‖ “Your Honour, so far we have not spent much time on the actual Big Bang process and how this explosion put the different processes into action. The explosion of a grain of compressed matter so miniscule was the start of the different evolutionary processes. The force of the explosion orbited not only our solar system into space but also the universe and the galaxies. For three years, a team of astronomers led by Harvard-Smithsonian researcher John Kovac braved the elements to point a brawny telescope known as Bicep2 (an acronym for the less euphonious Background Imaging of Cosmic Extragalactic Polarization) at a patch of the southern sky. In March, the team released its results. Should the conclusions stand, they will open a spectacular new window on the earliest moments of the universe, and will deservedly rank among the most important cosmological findings of the past century. 111

Most times, mutations are either harmful or neutral, but in rare instances a mutation might prove beneficial to the organism. CONTROVERSY 1 Despite the wealth of evidence from the fossil record, genetics and other fields of science, some people still question its validity. Some politicians and religious leaders denounce the theory, invoking a higher being as a designer to explain the complex world of living things, especially humans. 112

School boards debate whether the theory of evolution should be taught alongside other ideas, such as intelligent design or creationism. Mainstream scientists see no controversy. “A lot of people have deep religious beliefs and also accept evolution,” Pobiner said, adding, “there can be real reconciliation.” “If someone could really demonstrate a better explanation than evolution and natural selection, [that person] would be the new Darwin,” Richmond said. Evolution is well supported by many examples of changes in various species leading to the diversity of life seen today. The last shore-dwelling ancestor of modern whales was Sinonyx, top right, a hyena-like animal. Over 60 million years, several transitional forms evolved: from top to bottom, Indohyus, Ambulocetus, Rodhocetus, Basilosaurus, Dorudon, and finally, the modern humpback whale.

www.johanpeters.in

Modern understanding: Darwin didn't know anything about genetics, Pobiner said. “He observed the pattern of evolution, but he didn’t really know about the mechanism.” That came later, with the discovery of how genes encode different biological or behavioral traits, and how genes are passed down from parents to offspring. The incorporation of genetics and Darwin's theory is known as “modern evolutionary synthesis.” The physical and behavioral changes that make natural selection possible happen at the level of DNA and genes. Such changes are called mutations. “Mutations are basically the raw material on which evolution acts,” Pobiner said. As I mentioned earlier, mutations can be caused by random errors in DNA replication or repair, or by chemical or radiation damage. Most times, mutations are either harmful or neutral, but in rare instances, a mutation might prove beneficial to the organism. If so, it will become more prevalent in the next generation and spread throughout the population. In this way, natural selection guides the evolutionary process, preserving and adding up the beneficial mutations and rejecting the bad ones. “Mutations are random, but selection for them is not random,” Pobiner said. But natural selection isn't the only mechanism by which organisms evolve, she said. For example, genes can be transferred from one population to another when organisms migrate or immigrate, a process known as gene flow. And the frequency of certain genes can also change at random, which is called genetic drift. Even though scientists could predict what early whales should look like, they lacked the fossil evidence to back up their claim. 114

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Creationists took this absence as proof that evolution didn't occur. They mocked the idea that there could have ever been such a thing as a walking whale. But since the early 1990s, that's exactly what scientists have been finding. The critical piece of evidence came in 1994, when paleontologists found the fossilized remains of Ambulocetus natans, an animal whose name literally means 'swimming-walking whale'. Its forelimbs had fingers and small hooves but its hind feet were enormous given its size. It was clearly adapted for swimming, but it was also capable of moving clumsily on land, much like a seal. When it swam, the ancient creature moved like an otter, pushing back with its hind feet and undulating its spine and tail. Modern whales propel themselves through the water with powerful beats of their horizontal tail flukes, but Ambulocetus still had a whip-like tail and had to use its legs to provide most of the propulsive force needed to move through water. In recent years, more and more of these transitional species, or “missing links,” have been discovered, lending further support to Darwin's theory, Richmond said. THE EXPANDING UNIVERSE It was the work of a Belgian priest, Georges Lemaître, who also held a doctorate in physics that advanced the story we’re following. In 1927, Lemaître applied Einstein’s equations of general relativity not to objects within the universe, like stars and black holes, but to the entire universe itself. The result knocked Lemaître back on his heels. The math showed that the universe could not be static. 115

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The fabric of space was either stretching or contracting, which meant that the universe was either growing in size or shrinking. When Lemaître alerted Einstein to what he’d found, Einstein scoffed. He thought Lemaître was pushing the math too far. So certain was Einstein that the universe, as a whole, was eternal and unchanging, that he not only dismissed mathematical analyses that attested to the contrary, he inserted a modest amendment into his equations to ensure that the math would accommodate his prejudice. And prejudice it was. In 1929, the astronomical observations of Edwin Hubble, using the powerful telescope at Mount Wilson Observatory, revealed that distant galaxies are all rushing away. The universe is expanding. Einstein gave himself a euphemistic slap in the forehead, a reprimand for not trusting results coming out of his own equations, and brought his thinking—and his equations—into line with the data. As Lemaître had pointed out, if space is now expanding, then by winding the cosmic film in reverse we conclude that the observable universe was ever smaller, denser and hotter ever further back in time. The seemingly unavoidable conclusion is that the universe we see emerged from a phenomenally tiny speck that erupted, sending space swelling outward—what we now call the Big Bang. But if true, what sent space swelling? And how could such an outlandish proposal be tested? THE INFLATIONARY THEORY If the universe emerged from a sweltering hot and intensely dense primeval atom, as Lemaître called it, then as space swelled the universe should have cooled off. Calculations undertaken at George Washington University in the 1940s, and later at Princeton in the 1960s showed that the Big Bang’s residual heat would manifest as a bath of photons (particles of light) uniformly filling space. 116

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The temperature of the photons would now have dropped to a mere 2.7 degrees above absolute zero, placing their wavelength in the microwave part of the spectrum—explaining why this possible relic of the Big Bang is called the cosmic microwave background radiation. In 1964, two Bell Labs scientists, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, were at wits’ end, frustrated by a large ground-based antenna designed for satellite communications. Regardless of where they pointed the antenna, they encountered the audiophile’s nightmare: an incessant background hiss. For months they sought but failed to find the source. Then, Penzias and Wilson caught wind of the cosmological calculations being done at Princeton suggesting there should be a low-level radiation filling space. The incessant hiss, the researchers realized, was arising from the Big Bang’s photons tickling the antenna’s receiver. The discovery earned Penzias and Wilson the 1978 Nobel Prize. The prominence of the Big Bang theory skyrocketed, impelling scientists to pry the theory apart, seeking unexpected implications and possible weaknesses. A number of important issues were brought to light, but the most essential was also the most basic. The Big Bang is often described as the modern scientific theory of creation, the mathematical answer to Genesis. But this notion obscures an essential fallacy: The Big Bang theory does not tell us how the universe began. It tells us how the universe evolved, beginning a tiny fraction of a second after it all started. As the rewound cosmic film approaches the first frame, the mathematics breaks down, closing the lens just as the creation event is about to fill the screen. And so, when it comes to explaining the bang itself—the primordial push that must have set the universe headlong on its expansionary course — the Big Bang theory is silent. 117

It would fall to a young postdoctoral fellow in the physics department of Stanford University, Alan Guth, to take the vital step toward filling that gap. Guth and his collaborator Henry Tye of Cornell University were trying to understand how certain hypothetical particles called monopoles might be produced in the universe’s earliest moments. But calculating deep into the night of December 6, 1979, Guth took the work in a different direction. He realized that not only did the equations show that general relativity plugged an essential gap in Newtonian gravity—providing gravity’s mechanism—they also revealed that gravity could behave in unexpected ways. According to Newton (and everyday experience) gravity is an attractive force that pulls one object toward another. The equations were showing that in Einstein’s formulation, gravity could also be repulsive. THE FIRST LIFE ON EARTH The Earth was able to support life only after the planet had cooled enough for a rocky crust to solidify. Once that happened, water vapor from volcanoes condensed in the atmosphere, fell as rain, and collected on the Earth’s surface. Besides water vapor, volcanoes also produced gases rich in the basic ingredients of life: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. Toxic gases such as ammonia and methane were common. At this point, the Earth's early atmosphere consisted entirely of these volcanic gases, and there was no free oxygen. In the primordial “soup” of the early seas, organic molecules concentrated, formed more complex molecules, and became simple cells. The transition from complex organic molecules to living cells could have occurred in several environments. Small, warm ponds are one possibility, but recent work has suggested that deep-sea hydrothermal vents. 118

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Hydrothermal vents such as those found along mid-ocean spreading centres today, may have been the cradle of the Earth's life. These environments contain the chemicals and the source of energy needed to synthesize more complex organic structures. Although scientists have not succeeded in creating life from organic molecules in the laboratory, they have reproduced many of the intermediate steps. So what were the first living things and when did they appear? Studies of genetic material indicate that a living group of single-celled organisms called Archaea may share many features with early life on Earth. Many Archaea now live in hot springs, deep-sea vents, saline water, and other harsh environments. If the first organisms resembled modern Archaea, they also may have lived in such places, but direct evidence for early life is controversial because it is difficult to distinguish between complex inorganic structures and simple biological ones in the geologic record. The oldest evidence for life may be 3.5-billionyear-old sedimentary structures from Australia that resemble stromatolites. Stromatolites are created today by living mats of microorganisms (mostly cyanobacteria, or bluegreen algae). These primitive organisms trap thin layers of sediment with their sticky filaments and grow upward to get light for photosynthesis. Stromatolites

Modern-day examples of stromatolites can be found in waters off Australia, the Bahamas, and Belize. In the Archean structures, layers similar to those seen in living stromatolites are evident, and secondary structures interpreted as simple filamentous microfossils have been recovered from the layers. The biotic origin of the structures has, however, been questioned. Both the supposed Archean stromatolites and the microfossils may have been produced by inorganic processes. 119

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Regardless, uncontested microfossils and chemical traces of life were present at least by 2.7 billion years ago. Stromatolites that were produced by microorganisms are abundant later in the Archean and throughout the Proterozoic. These sedimentary structures, formed by organic processes, provide important evidence of early life. At present, we can say with certainty that life had evolved by 2.7 billion years ago, and possibly as early as 3.5 billion years ago. Introduction to Biological Processes Evolution is a multifaceted process and is, perhaps, the most important process in the history of life. Extinction also plays an important role in shaping the history of life, eliminating even dominant species and reshaping the nature of the biological world. Both evolution and extinction occur in the context of ecology—the study of the relationships between organisms and the environment. The physical and biological processes that take place on the Earth are interrelated. The physical changes that shape the planet also affect its living organisms. This link has been documented throughout Earth history, and we see evidence of it even today. For example, animals and plants display obvious adaptations to particular climates & environments, as in the cacti of the deserts of western North America or the streamlined bodies of fish, whales, and dolphins. Less well appreciated is the fact that living organisms can alter the physical Earth as well. One such example is the 'oxygen crisis' that occurred some two billion years ago, when newly evolved photosynthetic organisms produced oxygen in sufficient quantities to permanently change Earth’s atmosphere. Clearly, it is not possible to understand the histories of life and of the Earth as separate stories. 120

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Therefore, although this section focuses on the biological processes associated with living organisms, many of these processes have explicit connections to geological processes as well. Let’s begin with an introduction to the basic qualities of life itself, including its origin. The basic structures of living organisms form the building blocks for all subsequent biological processes. Once life appeared on the early Earth, the challenges presented by the physical environment immediately began driving the process of evolution, which continues unceasingly today. EVOLUTION Evolution is the biological process that creates new adaptations and (ultimately) species by favoring individuals with genetic traits that give these individuals and their offspring higher reproductive success. The “fittest” individuals are most able to meet the challenges of a constantly changing physical and biological world, surviving to pass their genes to new generations. When mutations occur in these genes, this can lead to the evolution of a new species. Evolution is thus the process of change through time in the chain of life-what Charles Darwin called 'descent with modification.' Today we understand that fossils are one of the central lines of evidence for evolution. Prior to the development Darwin’s theory, however, the many lines of evidence that support it were not clearly understood or their significance appreciated. In the middle of the nineteenth century, Charles Darwin developed the theory of 'evolution by natural selection.' On his visit to the Galapagos Islands, Charles Darwin discovered several species of finches that varied from island to island, which helped him to develop his theory of natural selection. The birds vary in size from 10 to 20 cm and weigh between 8 and 38 grams. The smallest are the warblerfinches and the largest is the vegetarian finch. 121

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The most important differences between species are in the size and shape of their beaks, and the beaks are highly adapted to different food sources. This theory accounted for the vast diversity of life on Earth and provided a mechanism to explain how new species come into being. Its most profound implication was that all life had descended from a single common ancestor. Through time, species changed gradually, ultimately giving rise to new forms. Darwin believed that competition for limited resources (natural selection) was the main driving force of this change within a lineage of organisms. Driven by competition new species appeared and others went extinct. Darwin’s original theory has been greatly modified over time. He did not, for example, have any knowledge of genetics as we currently understand it. Growth in our understanding of the cell and of the genetic machinery that controls cells and organisms has in turn greatly refined our understanding of how evolution works. Currently this theory is the best explanation for the relationships we observe between all living and fossil life forms. Scientists are still uncovering the specifics of how, when, and why evolution produced the life we see on Earth today. These discussions concern the mechanisms and timing of evolution, not whether descent with modification has occurred. Most importantly, the process of descent with modification produces the pattern that scientists call the 'Tree of Life.' This “tree describes the relationships of organisms to one another. The branching pattern of relationships that results from the evolutionary process is called the phylogeny of life. 122

the process of descent with modification produces the pattern that scientists call the 'Tree of Life.' 123

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

This 'tree' describes the relationships of organisms to one another. The branching pattern of relationships that results from the evolutionary process is called the phylogeny of life. Scientists have used these evolutionary relationships to develop a system of classification. Within this system, organisms have been identified, named, and classified in order to permit scientists to communicate easily about them. The species is the 'working unit' of evolution. A species is a collection of populations, all genetically related. These populations are composed of individual organisms that are capable of breeding with each other to produce fertile offspring, thus passing genetic information from one generation to the next. Through descent with modification (mutation and natural selection) a population will accumulate genetic changes until it is so different from other populations of the parent species that interbreeding is no longer possible. In this way, a new species has formed. Speciation is the term biologists and paleontologists use to describe such an event. How does speciation occur? Evolution has two basic components: the origin of new variation, which occurs primarily through mutation of genetic material (DNA), and the sorting of new mutations by natural selection. Mutation is largely a “random” process, meaning that the mutations do not occur in response to “needs” on the part of the individuals in which they occur. Most mutations, in fact, are either harmful or neutral. Only rarely is a mutation beneficial to the offspring of the organism in which the mutation occurred. In any population, mutations occur that make some individuals different from others. Natural selection is the means by which helpful and harmful mutations are sorted out. 124

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Because organisms must compete for resources, natural selection favors those individuals with beneficial mutations, permitting them to reproduce more than other organisms. Over time, the genes that confer these advantages become more common in the population. Natural selection works through such mechanisms as competition for resources, different abilities to tolerate physical conditions, and so forth, resulting in differential reproductive success. But competition is not always a physical battle. For example, an individual with a longer neck might be able to reach more food. In a year when resources are limited, this adaptation would allow the production of more offspring than other individuals in the population. Over time, the average length neck in the population would shift toward longer necks. If these selective pressures persisted for some time, the population would become significantly different from other populations in the species. Then, if this population became isolated from the other populations of the species, either through later physical isolation or through associated mutations that limited cross-breeding with other individuals, an entirely new species would appear. The rate of evolution has been debated for decades. One of Darwin’s key points was that evolution worked very slowly, over millions of years of geological time, through the gradual, incremental acquisition of small differences. While not denying that much of evolution is indeed slow and gradual, it was suggested that slow change was not the underlying process that gave rise to most new species. PUNCTUATED EQUILIBRIUM Punctuated equilibrium helped to explain why many transitional forms apparently were missing from the fossil record. 125

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

According to the hypothesis of punctuated equilibrium, transitional forms existed for brief periods of time, and so were unlikely to become fossils. This view has not been universally accepted, by paleontologists or biologists working with modern species. Some, such as paleontologist Philip Gingerich, have argued that many mammal species indeed evolved gradually, without any apparent episodes of rapid change. Others have argued that small mutations could not produce the large changes in organismal structure needed to drive the process of punctuated equilibrium. However, the discovery of Hox genes--which code for entire structures, rather than single components--identified a potential mechanism for rapid evolutionary change. This relationship between a structure (such as a long neck) and a function (such as feeding) is important to understanding its evolutionary origin. If, in the course of its evolution, a structure was very closely tied to a specific function, it is called an adaptation. Many structures are not closely linked to particular adaptations, however. They may have evolved for other purposes, and were later co-opted (or 'exapted') for a new function. Or they may simply be the by-products of evolutionary selection on another structure to which they were connected. Structures in different species that were inherited from a common ancestor are described as homologous. Homologous structures may look similar (such as the legs of elephants and rhinos), or different (such as the legs of elephants and whales), but they always share this quality of common ancestry. In contrast, analogous structures are always superficially similar (such as the fins of fish, whales, and ichthyosaurs) but evolved independently. The common ancestor of these animals did not have fins, and so they were not inherited and must have evolved independently. 126

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Analogous structures are the product of convergence. Convergence occurs when similar structures evolve in species that are not closely related. For example, wings have evolved a number of times in the course of the history of life. In each instance of independent appearance, the structure is unique. Insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals have all evolved wings, but they are constructed of different materials. This convergence has occurred because genetic mutations combined with natural selection created structures that permitted flight in different organisms. The wings of these different forms are really only similar in superficial ways, but they have similar functions. In order to fly, an organism must obey the laws of aerodynamics. (Even though the organisms themselves don’t understand them or know that they exist, such physical laws control the flight of an airplane as surely as they control that of a dragonfly.) Physical factors thus constrain the shape of a successful wing. CO-EVOLUTION Co-evolution occurs when two unrelated species evolve in tandem. In effect, the species become linked through a period of sustained ecological interaction such as the need for food and the need for pollination that link certain insects and flowers. An evolutionary change in one of the two species will often favor the survival of mutations that cause a change in the other. In predator-prey interactions, the evolution of prey defenses in one species can result in the subsequent evolution of a means to foil these defenses in the other. This is often referred to as a co-evolutionary “arms race.” Coevolution also occurs in mutualistic relationships, where two species have a mutually beneficial dependence on one another. For example, one species of acacia tree has evolved features in tandem with a particular species of ant. The acacia provides shelter by producing hollow thorns in which the ants can live. 127

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

The trees also produce nectaries on their leaves that feed the ants, but that also ensure that the ants will visit parts of the tree. The ants in turn create a space around the base of the tree by trimming encroaching vegetation that might shade the acacia or compete for its food resources. The ants will also attack any organism that enters this space. Your Honour, as you can see, evolution and our origins is a broad and fascinating subject. At present we are still finding out new things of how it all came about and how it all happened and we are still learning and discovering new theories and although we don’t know everything, one thing we do know for sure, Your Honour, is that it did not happen as written in the child’s story book of Mr. N. Voy's client. One thing we can say with certainty is that creation is the biggest load of nonsensical rubbish that we have ever been told.” ―Is that all then from your side, Professor?‖ “Like I said, Your Honour, I can go on for much longer, but I will leave it at this as my time is coming to a close.” ―It is now 12:26. CHAPTER 11 FILTER, NATURAL SELECTION, MUTATIONS, HYBRIDS ―All be seated. Mr. N. Voy, please take the stand and present your materials. Your session will close at 3:00 for recess.‖ ―Your Honour, members of the Jury, I would like to start with what the Professor shared with us, ‗Clearly, it is not possible to understand the histories of life and of the Earth as separate stories.‘ I dare to differ with the Professor concerning his statement. The Professor said further, ‗Scientists are still uncovering the specifics of how, when, and why evolution produced the life we see on Earth today. These discussions concern the mechanisms and timing of evolution, not whether descent with modification has occurred. What this says, is that all the evidence concerning creation is automatically rejected, as this does not fit the process of modification, or the evolution theory. I am sorry, Your Honour, but that is no open scientific mind. That is saying, ‗Don‘t confuse me with the facts, because my mind is made up. We will not accept any other evidence than what fits the evolution theory. Hence everything else will be labeled as false evidence and a hoax. We will not even consider it!‘ This is ten times worse than racism and segregation and apartheid all put together, as it is saying, 'You are not allowed to enter, not because you look different, but because you think different and whatever you say will be automatically rejected by us. You are not welcome here!' 129

EVIDENCE ELIMINATING FILTER Your Honour, I would like to refer to Cremo & Thomspon, who are both evolutionists. They state in their book 'The Hidden History of the Human Race', ‘The primary point we are trying to make . . . . there exists in the scientific community a knowledge filter that screens out unwelcome evidence. This process of knowledge filtration has been going on for well over a century and continues to the present day . . . there also appear to be cases of more direct suppression. In the early 1950s . . . Lee was hounded from his Civil Service position into prolonged unemployment; . . . tons of artifacts vanished into storage bins of the National Museum of Canada; the Director of the National Museum . . . was himself fired . . . ‘ According to David Duckworth, who was employed in the vertebrate paleontology section of the Smithsonian Institution it seems that in the fall of 1968 crates marked: 'MT ARARAT -- National Geographic / Smithsonian Expedition' disappeared in the Smithsonian storage bins.1 This is not science; this is a cover-up job, and a bad one at that. SOUTH-POLE The Professor explained that the Bicep2, which according to the Professor is one mile from the South-Pole, has 'a team of astronomers led by Harvard-Smithsonian researcher John Kovac'. I could not help but have a question in the back of my mind, as the South-Pole was declared nofly, no-entry-zone, by the South Pole Treaty of 1959 and is off limits till 2041. The US Admiral Richard E. Byrd reported in 1956 on National TV 2 what his expedition had discovered in Byrd on Nat'l TV the South Pole, about a land the size of the US and vast natural resources of coal and uranium. (More on South Pole pg. 170, 171) 130

Why would a Smithsonian researcher be allowed to work there for three years while explorers are absolutely refused entry to the ice mass? Seeing the Smithsonian has done so many coverup jobs, I can't help but wonder 'what is going on there?' Besides these different secret operations, it is clear that all fossils and evidence proofs that don't fit evolution are rejected by the institute. However there are no fossils that support the mutation of species . . . HYPOTHESIS OF PUNCTUATED EQUILIBRIUM 1 Hence we have come up with a new theory called ‗the hypothesis of punctuated equilibrium‘, meaning that transitional forms existed only for brief periods of time, and so were unlikely to become fossils. Yet we just heard from the Professor, 'fossils are one of the central lines for evolution evidence.' Are these scientists the ones that my client referred to when he wrote, 'whoever loves and makes a lie.'? 2 As the Professor explained, 'When mutations occur in these genes, this can lead to the evolution of a new species.' So Your Honour, members of the Jury, meet my latest theory; the Homo Piscibus (the Fishman). An evolutionary development of the pearl divers, who because of thousands of years and generations of pearl diving are now becoming fish men. If I showed this to the pearl-divers, they would laugh hysterically, or drown me on the spot. EACH AFTER THEIR KIND My client made the animals each after their kind: dogs, horses, cows, cats, lions, tigers, dinosaurs, goats, sheep, donkeys, elephants, giraffes, etc. Then there are the birds of the air, doves, geese, ducks, sparrows, ravens, eagles, etc. These animals all mix and mate within their kind. 131

A Shire horse can mate a Shetland pony. Consequently there are all types of horses from the Arabian horse to the Lipizzaner. A Doberman can mate a German Shepherd. We have all types of dogs; from Great Danes to Pekinese. A Frisian cow can mate with a Hereford bull, A Swiss mountain goat can mate a Nigerian dwarf goat.

Although there are sheepdogs, they are not a hybrid of sheep and dogs. My client has put barriers in between the different species as he said, 'each after his kind.' 1 Your Honour, even Mr. Charles Darwin stated that, Everything in Nature is the result of Fixed Laws. All these animals after their kind will adjust to the different climates and change according to the survival that is needed in that part of the world. As the Professor stated, ‗animals and plants display obvious adaptations to particular climates and environments, as in the cacti of the deserts of western North America‘ I AM NOT CONTENDING NATURAL ADAPTATIONS; Huskies and Saint Bernards have thick fur for their climates. Polar bears and brown bears started differing in colour according to their survival needs. We have bred many types of cats, ducks and chickens. Then we have the humans with other human races. Some of the most beautiful and handsome people are of mixed races. 132

The Natural Adaptations of the Fox „after his kind.â€&#x; Many different foxes developed because of Natural Adaptations.

WHAT I AM CONTENDING IS MUTATIONS The theory that through mutation dogs can develop into horses. A sinonyx changes into a indohyus, or a tiger into a rat and frogs into birds, and that we all came from a chemical soup many millions of years ago. This is an amazing fantasy world, but no science! 133

The Professor stated: 'Mutations can be caused by random errors in DNA replication or repair, or by CHEMICAL OR RADIATION DAMAGE. Most times, mutations are either harmful or neutral, but in rare instances, a mutation might prove beneficial to the organism . . . Mutations are material on which evolution acts.' Evolution is based on the assumption that thousands of mutations have been beneficial and that the bad ones died out because of Natural Selection. If it was rare to have beneficial mutations and there were thousands, then the Earth should be filled with quadrillions of fossils with harmful or neutral mutations. The Professor said, 'fossils are one of the central lines for evolution evidence.' Where are they? ATROCIOUS CHEMICAL & RADIATION MUTATIONS Your Honour, remember the dire photos of thalidomide Chemical Mutations of the Softenon babies in the nineteen seventies. And recently how harmful the Radiation Mutations have been for babies born in Middle East warzones. Radiation of DU, Depleted Uranium (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depleted_uranium) used in bombs, causing ghastly birth defects. I do not have the heart to look at them, nor show the images to the court. Babies without arms, no legs, one eye, open insides, double heads, horrific deformities, that shake my whole inner being to the core. Not one mutation proved 'chemical or radiation damage' beneficial. Your Honour, there are hundreds of images and I will hand you here a few in this envelope. Please be warned.‖ The Lord Justice takes a quick glance at some of the photos and with a disturbed look puts them back in the envelope. As the Justice holds up the envelope, he notifies the scribe, “These will be given to the Jury, but are not for publication with the transcript. You may publish the links of the chemical 1 and radiation damage 2 mutations only with the warning that these are very disturbing and highly disturbing images. 134

Mr. N. Voy please proceed.” HUMANZEES AND HYBRIDS “Next, Your Honour, chimpanzees and humans are closely related (sharing 95% of their DNA sequence and 99% of coding DNA sequences) Joseph Stalin financed a scientist, Dr. Ivanoff, with 200,000 dollars to find out if it was possible to create a human-ape hybrid, the „Humanzee‟. Dr. Ivanoff ended up getting exiled to Siberia. Although it is a contested speculation that a human-ape hybrid is possible and, believe me, scientists have tried to mix and match these, to prove evolution over and over again. . . I think finally they produced a litte humanzee. The photo I saw was that of a feeble, pathetic, sickly looking newborn creature, which definitely does not fit 'the survival of the fittest'. The barriers my client has put are clear and nature adheres to these barriers, no matter how much we try to break them. I quote Einstein, 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.' I repeat what Mr. Darwin said, 'Everything in nature is the result of fixed laws.' Another example to support evolution is that of ANIMAL HYBRIDS. A male horse and a female donkey have a hinny. A female horse and a male donkey have a mule. But hinnies and mules can't have babies of their own. They are sterile because they cannot produce sperm or eggs. Bottlenose dolphins and a fish similar to a killer whale occasionally produce a mixed offspring known as a wholphin. 135

Their offspring will be sterile Ligers and Tigons have no conservation value to justify the cost of their extensive health issues. Their fragility is a cause for concern. These hybrids will only be 'SIDESHOWS' and 'FREAK OF NATURE', curiosities, because their infertility and sterility dooms them to a complete dead end. Ligers and Tigons are huge, but very sickly and are too expensive to keep and care for.

Zonkeys aren‘t the only hybrid possible with a zebra. The stripy creatures are closely related to horses and donkeys – they all belong to the same genus, Equus. While two equine species may be compatible enough to breed, their offspring is sterile. LIVING IN HARMONY Your Honour, I know of a community of roughly 60 to 90 thousand inhabitants all working together without any problems.1 They have no police force, nor prisons. They have a level of civilization far above that of ours. This is a highly scientific community. In their city, the pathways are designed so that always two can pass each other in the opposite direction. 136

Their food storage spaces are constructed in a 4 to 5 degree angle, so the food does not spill. They are in hexagonal design, so no space or materials are wasted. Each of the inhabitants takes mutual roles: sanitation, nursemaid, builder, admin, security and harvester. Each inhabitant has a daily inspection routine. May I introduce the honey bee? Their modus operandi is so complicated, that even a tiny part of it happening by chance is just astronomical. According to evolution the bees inherited the traits from their ancestors and the fittest survived and adapted. That could sound logical, however worker bees are born, do their work and die, without ever reproducing their kind. However, if someone says that it must have been by the process of Intelligent Design, he is labeled a naĂŻve, brainless fundamentalist and stands a very good chance of losing his job as a scientist, lecturer or teacher. Your Honour, I am open for any other explanation, but telling me, „Oh it just happened.â€&#x; I am sorry to say is an insult to my limited intelligence. When I ask my children, 'Who did it?' And they say, 'Oh, it just happened.' Then I know without any doubt that they are not telling me the truth. If they would try to make it sound scientific, that makes it even worse, and it definitely will not sell with me and I know neither will it with you, Your Honour. 'Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I am not so sure about the universe.' 1 On a brighter note; allow me tell you about a little birdie. 137

There is a little bird that spends the summer in Europe, called the warbler. Here they raise their young and then take off for central Africa, leaving the baby birds behind in the nest, until they are able to make the long flight also. Then a few weeks later they actually take off to Africa and meet up with their parents. They have not been trained by their parents as evolution would advocate. Except when the little baby warblers emerge from their eggs, they are fully programmed, including the amazing task of stellar navigation. A bit of science distances one from God; but much science nears one to Him . . . The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator. 1

NO CHANGE - THE ANTS 2 'The common scientific belief has been that the army ants originated seperately on several continents over millions of years. Now it is found there was one evolution. Using fossile data and the tools of a genetics detective, a Cornell University entomologist has discovered that these ants come from the same ancestor, because since the reign of the dinosaurs, about 100 million years ago, army ants in essence have not changed a bit. With jaws still locked together, a vicious fight between two ants 100 million years ago has been frozen in time in a piece of amber discovered in Myanmar (Burma). 138

The tiny insects were encased in tree sap as they wrestled, causing them to be preserved within the material as it fossilized into amber. Scientists believe the two ants are from different species, which were alive while the dinosaurs still roamed the planet, and may have been fighting over food or during a raid on a nest.' Your Honour, what this shows it that ants are still the same and did not change since the dinosaurs. Yet the ant did not evolve in all these years. I was visiting a friend who has a precious and semi-precious stone shop in India. He showed me a mosquito in a piece of amber. It was however not carbon-dated. He told me that in Mexico he saw a real special amber piece with a frog in it. The mosquito in the amber, that he showed me under his magnifying glass, looked identical to the one that I swatted last week. EXTINCT BUT STILL ALIVE The Coelacanth, 1 was once only known from fossils and was thought to have gone extinct during great extinction when the dinosaurs vanished 65 million years ago. It got rediscovered 1938. 139

This nocturnal type of ant 1 of only approximately 4 millimeter, was thought extinct 20 million years ago, but it was discovered back in 2006. They usually live in underground colonies and are found in South America. This rare frilled shark 2 discovered off the coast of Portugal in 2017 has remained unchanged for 80 million years, since the time of the dinosaurs. Scientists are dating it back to the Cretaceous Period, a time when the Tyrannosaurus Rex roamed the planet. Could this indicate that creation might be true and that my client made them just like they are and have always been since creation? RANDOM OR DESIGN? To name just a few: There is the remarkable elephant trunk. 3 The trunk consists of approx. 40,000 muscles, which group themselves around the nose tubes.' 'According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways, because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. They beat their wings over 11,000 cycles per minute and off they go.' 4 Is there any evolutionary theory why there are no two snowflakes identical? 140

Penguins have a unique organ above their eye called the 'Supraorbital Gland'.1 When the penguins drink salt seawater this organ turns the saltwater into freshwater. There are countless extraordinary facts, but I'll leave it with this. EVOLUTION, A LONG TIME THEORY Your Honour, I read last week that the evolution theory is something of the last few hundred years after Charles Darwin, and because science has progressed.2 Science has progressed, but evolution has been around a long time. My client already wrote over 2500 years ago; 'Who say to a tree, you are my father; and to a stone, you have brought me forth.' 3 Isn't this the same thing that we are trying to teach our children with creating more and more 'scientific theories', scrambling frantically to prove evolution to be 'true'? Your Honour, I hope that common sense will prevail.‖ ―Then we will have a short 30-minutes break and we will be here again by 3:30, as you know by now, the doors will close at 3:25.‖ __________

CHAPTER 12 SUPERATOM, STERILIZATION, THE CHALLENGE ―It is 3:30. Mr. N. Voy, please take the witness stand on behalf of creation.‖ THE BIG BANG EXPLOSION ―Your Honour, the biggest explosions that we have known on this Earth were the atomic explosions. George Lemaître, by many hailed as ‗the greatest scientist that you have ever heard of‘, George Lemaître was a Belgian priest, astronomer and professor of 1894-1966 physics at the University of Leuven. He proposed the theory of the expansion of the universe. He suggested that the expansion of the universe had resulted from the explosion of this superatom, which hurled materials in all directions, and set the universe in motion. The expansion of the universe is a fascinating scientific discovery that even caught Einstein by surprise. Your Honour, it is a certainty that explosions are destructive, and this is no 'Rocket Science'. This is common sense. My aunt got killed in an explosion. Activate one hundred thousand explosions and they are all destructive, without exception, not one will be creative or life giving. We have all seen the results: dead, maimed or burned bodies and surroundings, whether they are test explosions, gas cylinder explosions, booby trap explosions, science lab explosions, suicide explosions, pressure cooker explosions or battlefield explosions. 143

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Every single one is destructive. The explosions in Nagasaki and Hiroshima were atom bomb explosions. These were normal atoms; I wonder what if they had been superatoms like the one in the proposed theory of George Lemaître? Either Japan would be no longer, or if it was a creative superatom then Japan would have become a tourist attraction with all kinds of new life forms and species. The definition for science is, to discover FACTS . . to formulate laws and principles based on these FACTS . . . that can be verified or tested by further investigation. 1 Another definition, A primary aim of science is to collect FACTS (data). An ultimate purpose of science is to discern the order that exists between and amongst the various FACTS. 2 The FACTS are that every explosion is destructive, tested, tried and proven. Maybe we need a new scientific formula: EP=H+D, meaning the amount of Explosive Power equals the amount of Harm and Damage caused, depending on the surroundings. Yet we are led to believe that the greatest explosion of all times was a creative one. This is totally opposite of any reasoning science, which is supposed to be based on facts, tests, proven results and formulas. THIS IS NO FACTUAL SCIENCE, BUT CLEARLY IMAGINATIVE, THEORETICAL, 'LET‘S SUPPOSE' SCIENCE. This literally takes the lid off Pandora‘s Box as no proof or evidence is needed to support this science. A 'Pandora's Box' has come to signify the source of endless complications or trouble, one whose origin is deceptively simple. 3 144

Your Honour, this is the kind of science that my client warned us about two millennia ago, 'avoid profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.' 2 STERILIZATION The Professor states that, ―The Earth was able to support life only after the planet had cooled enough for a rocky crust to solidify‖. . . . Maybe this cooling process might have taken a million years or maybe a thousand, but let's be generous and say one day, or even one hour. I have lived in the tropics and there were many water borne diseases, which I personally was subjected to. However to kill all the bacteria and amoebas and any life form in the water, science had proven that we should bring it to a boil. We wanted to make sure, so my wife and I decided to boil it for twenty minutes to erase any life form in the water, as we wanted to be a 100 percent sure. So we did and were fine. The Earth was much hotter than the boiling point of water, so even if it took only one hour to cool down, it would have completely eradicated any chance for any life form whatsoever to survive. Everything that might have had any chance to procreate would have been obliterated in the heat. Hence the Earth was completely sterile just like we sterilize needles, syringes and scalpels in heat. Sterile means, Free from bacteria or other living micro-organisms; totally clean.2 Science has proven that heat or boiling sterilizes, it kills bacteria, viruses, protozoan, parasites, all life forms! 145

The Professor says that in the primordial ―soup‖ of the early seas, organic molecules concentrated, formed more complex molecules, and became simple cells. Your Honour, we have established that the world was absolutely sterile, hence there was only non-living matter. Okay, let‘s accept that the Big Bang happened and somehow as the Professor says 'a swamp of bubbling primordial 'soup' formed on Earth'. Maybe I should explain it more realistically. No chicken will crawl out of my chicken soup, not in 4.6 billion years, although it has all the organic molecules and cells, life forms and ingredients needed to create a chicken, and even if I put a fertilized chicken egg in the pot, before it comes to a boil. Hundreds of thousands of cooks worldwide have proven that soup only decays and starts rotting and stinking, more so after a billion years. It is not possible that primordial ‗soup‘ can turn into life, because it has been boiled and has become sterile, even if all the proteins and amino acids needed for life are present. It will not develop into life, not in a hundred billion years, because any life form in it has been destroyed by the heat. Another definition of STERILE, 1   

I will repeat of what the Professor just told us, ―Although scientists have not succeeded in creating life from organic molecules in the laboratory, they have reproduced many of the INTERMEDIATE STEPS.‖ 146

What can those intermediate steps be? Things are either dead or alive. There is no half-dead or half-alive. There is NO HALF-ALIVE MATTER, besides some heartbreaking humans that look like any life form has left them, who still walk around, those sad cases who die at thirty, and get buried at sixty. SPONTANEOUS GENERATION In 1668, an Italian physician, named Francesco Redi, disproved the idea of spontaneous generation.

Louis Pasteur 1822-„95

In 1859, Louis Pasteur experimented with the idea of spontaneous generation. Scientists have tried it for hundreds of years and have come to the conclusion that only life can produce life.

Louis Pasteur formulated the Law of Biogenesis that, 'living things come only from other living things.' This law has been criticized and contradicted, because it does not fit the evolution thought pattern of spontaneous generation. Although contradicted and criticized because of 'advances in germ theory and cell theory'. These are all theories and not one single scientific experiment has proven the 'Law of Biogenesis' wrong. 1 Pasteur said, 'Spontaneous generation is a dream fantasy.' He was so convinced that he was right, that he stated in 1864, 'Never will the doctrine of spontaneous generation recover from the mortal blow struck by my simple experiment.' AMAZING COMPLEXITIES Some things that we take for granted: When you cut yourself you begin to bleed, but if the cut is not too big, then shortly afterwards the flow of blood automatically discontinues. 147

A clot forms, which is a protein mesh that stops the blood cells, and eventually closes up the wound entirely, and it also prevents the plasma from escaping. This seemingly simple process involves over a dozen different proteins such as; thrombin, fibrinogen, Christmas, Stuart, accelerin, etc. Some help to form the clot, while others are responsible for regulating clot formation. Regulating proteins are important as we only want clots forming on a wound and not in our arteries. Vital microscopic 'hairs' that we take for granted: the Cilia are tiny hair-like structures on the outside of cells that either help move fluid over a stationary cell, such as the cells in your lungs, or serve as a means of propelling a cell through water, as in the single-celled paramecium. 1 Your Honour, we are so amazingly complex and I am glad that there are scientists that can study these matters. So many stand in awe whether they believe in my client or not. They are amazed at the complexity and beauty of it all and how it all works together in unison. Molecular biologists have learned about the sophisticated coding within DNA. It is not possible for an honest scientist not to stand in wonder, when observing the complexity of what goes on in a human cell or in the universe, whether we look through a microscope or telescope. 148

Someone who would say the following would be considered a creationist and a person with little or no intelligence, 'The impossibility that this grand and wondrous universe, with our conscious selves, arose through chance, seems to me the chief argument for the existence of God.' Who would say something like this? It was the Professor‘s client himself, Mr. Charles Darwin. Let us take a quick look at the eye. The lens of our eye is critical in forming a sharp image; however, this is one of the most amazing features of the human eye that it can adjust so quickly when focusing objects at different distances. This process of adjustment is known as ‗accommodation‘.1 Besides other things working together such as the aqueous humor and the vitreous humor, a muscle known as the ciliary muscle changes the lens shape, so that we can focus on close by or far away. 2 I'll read the following quote. 'To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting the different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree.' Your Honour, this was said in 1872 by none other than again Mr. Charles Darwin himself. I repeat, 149

―To suppose that the eye . . . could have been formed by NATURAL SELECTION, SEEMS, I FREELY CONFESS, ABSURD IN THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE DEGREE.‖ If Mr. Darwin says this of the eye, wait till we get to the DNA and the human brain. Your Honour, if these are Mr. Darwin‘s sentiments, then what are we having this whole court case for? And why did the Professor and I spend so much of our precious time investigating for both our clients, or could it be that our search for answers leads us to the same destination. REFUSING TO ACCEPT EVIDENCE Dr. Einstein said there are three kinds of people 1. Those who see, 2. Those who see when they are shown, 3. Those who do not see. I like to add number four, 4. There are none so blind, as those who refuse to see. Marie Curie added the fifth, when she stated: 5. ―There are sadistic 1 scientists who hurry to hunt down errors instead of establishing the truth.‖

Marie Curie 1867-1934

It is the fifth, the last and lowest level, which is doing the most damage to the reputation of science. Those who refuse to accept my client's involvement, or by finding minor flaws in the reputation or character of others, be they scientists or otherwise, will stoop so low as to say anything to defend their personal doctrines and theories, be they true or false, such as: Concerning Noah‟s Ark: Dr. Price, director of the Center for Judaic Studies, at Liberty University at Lynchburg Va., ‗has reason to believe, that a group of local Kurdish men had taken wood from an old structure in the Black Sea area, and trucked the wood up to the mountain. 150

There are no roads or paths on Ararat to truck things up the mountain, besides the Kurds are fighting a war and they don‘t have time for such incredible, unbelievable nonsense. The Yonaguni underwater city: (photo on pg. 99) The Yonaguni site consists of huge stone blocks which fit together perfectly, right angled joins, carvings and what appear to be stairways, paved streets, crossroads and plazas. Despite the unusual features displayed, there remain some scientists, such as Geologist Robert Schoch of Boston University, who have studied the formation and who are adamant that the large blocks formed naturally as a result of tectonic movement. 2 The ancient underwater city in the gulf of Alykanas in Zakynthos, Greece: (photo on pg. 100) According to the Underwater Antiquities Department, the discovery included huge public buildings, cobblestone paving, bases for pillars and other antiquities. Of particular significance were the 20 stone pillar bases, all of which feature a '34 cm diameter incision'. A study released in December claimed that the ‗artifacts‘ are not remnants of an ancient city at all, but simply a unique natural phenomenon. 3 Your Honour, I‘m sorry to say, these are no studies! Anyone can see that this is the purest nonsensical figment of someone‘s imagination. Adolf Hitler wrote in ‗Mein Kampf‘, 'It would never come into the heads of the broad masses to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. . . . They will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. 151

For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world.' What Hitler is really saying, If you tell a lie, tell a big one. Keep repeating it, and they will believe you, because no one would think that you had the nerve to tell something so big, if it was not the truth. Isn‘t that how it works when the media is predisposed? Isn‘t truth usually the first victim in war also? I know this court case will also get its share of biased coverage. You, Your Honour, the Professor, myself, and the scribe that is recording this case, we all run the risk to be at the receiving end of it.

THE CHALLENGE The Professor interrupts, and with a determination, not natural to his personality, he daringly proclaims, “Your Honour, I challenge Mr. N. Voy, to explain to the court in scientific terms how his client, or let us call a spade a spade, how this so-called God of his, made the world, and that in six days? I challenge him to explain in scientific terms, with proper formulas how this quote unquote “God” created the world and the universe. If he can explain it clearly then I might consider, with the emphasis on might, that there is an intelligent design behind it after all. Your Honour, although this has been a closed case, I ask that you will invite the press into the courtroom, when Mr. N. Voy gives his explanation on how it all happened. 152

I would like to once and for all put an end to this. It is either evolution or creation and if Mr. N. Voy cannot come up with a proper scientific explanation, then I will stay absolutely convinced that our origins lie in the process of evolution, no matter how many missing links, closed-minded scientists, or flaws there might be. If Mr. N. Voy’s client is what he makes out to be, then he must have a scientific explanation for the creation process, as he is supposed to be omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. Omniscient meaning he knows all the science possible and all the scientific formulas. This is my challenge to Mr. N. Voy, to the court and to myself.” The honourable Justice breathes deeply, and there is a moment of quiet thought before he speaks in a calm and collect voice, ―If Mr. N. Voy will accept the challenge, then the court will resume on Monday morning 9:30 a.m. I will discuss with the Jury concerning the press entering the courtroom, which I personally would prefer not to. However seeing we all need to have an open mind I will discuss the attendance of the press with the members of the Jury. So Mr. N. Voy, do you accept this challenge?‖ There is a long pause. Mr. N. Voy seems in deep thought, tapping his lips with his index finger. ―I can‘t help but find this rather biased against my client, as there are no scientific formulas given for the evolution theory. Nevertheless I have this weekend ahead of me to prepare, so yes, Your Honour, members of the Jury, and dear Professor, I do accept this challenge and would have no objections if the press was present. However all this is on one condition, that I may give my rhetoric without interruption, except from you, Your Honour. I also ask the court for a white board and marker, in case clarification is needed.‖ 153

―The court is now closed and the case is adjourned to Monday morning 9.30 a.m., half-an-hour later than usual, due to Monday morning rush hour. Members of the Jury, would you please be so kind as to meet with me in my office?‖ __________

CHAPTER 13 SCIENTIFIC ACCOUNT OF DESIGNED ORIGINS It is Monday morning and the clock shows 9:30. ―All rise! This is the last day concerning the case 'Evolution and Creation'. Presiding over the court is the honourable Lord Justice, Dr. E. Dict.‖ The honourable Lord Justice speaks, ―To all present, including the press, I would like to reiterate that this is a criminal case. This is only the second time in my career that I have invited the press into the courtroom. The ladies and gentlemen of the press will not be allowed to interview the witness for evolution and the witness for creation, until after the hearing, if they consent. However, no harassment or questioning during the case will be allowed. This is not an infringement on the freedom of speech, this is to keep order in the court. A complete word-for-word transcript of the case will be available shortly in a free download publication named, 'In the Beginning . . . . then What? - Evolution and Creation'. Ladies and gentlemen, if order cannot be kept the security guards are here to escort you out of the courtroom. I hope that I have made myself clear. Mr. N. Voy, please take the stand. Some of your explanations have been in great detail, but this session will close by 12:00 sharp. You have exactly 2 hours and 23 minutes. After lunch at 1:30, both you and the Professor will give your final presentation and defense before the Jury.‖ 155

―I will do my best, Your Honour. The question is, how did the world come about in scientific terms? As a child I was intrigued by what my physics teacher told us in class. He explained that he could not understand why, when we clap our hands, our hands don‘t pass through one another. He gave details how we are made up out of molecules and that the molecules are made of atoms. Atoms consist of neutrons and protons, which have no mass but are energy. I was only 9 or 10 years old, but was absolutely fascinated by his explanation. QUANTUM PHYSICS I quote, „What we perceive as our physical material world, is really not physical or material at all, in fact, it is far from it. This has been proven time and time again by multiple Nobel Prize (among many other scientists around the world) winning physicists, one of them being Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum Niels Bohr theory.‘1 'If quantum mechanics hasn‘t profoundly shocked you, you haven‘t understood it yet. 156

Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.' – Niels Bohr Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter. Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. 'Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature - this is fact and is what QUANTUM PHYSICS has shown us time and time again.' We are much more than what we perceive ourselves to be, and it‘s time we begin to see ourselves in that light. 'Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial – It is mental and spiritual' – Richard Conn Henry, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University. (Quote taken from ―The Mental Universe‖)

The revelation that the universe is not an assembly of physical parts, suggested by Newtonian physics, and instead comes from a holistic entanglement of immaterial energy waves, stems from the work of Nobel Prize winners: Albert Einstein, Max Planck and Werner Heisenberg, among others. 157

This is exactly what my client wrote two millennia ago. 'So that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.' 1 Your Honour, in other words we are made up out of nothing but energy and yet here we are. Truly amazing! At present we are limited, or I would say locked in to our four dimensions: time, length, width and height, but there is more to it than meets the eye. Werner Heisenberg said, "Only a few know, how much one must know to know how little one knows." An omniscient mastermind, with an unreasonable, artistic passion to create something beautiful brought this about and is what literally holds us together. ADVANCE PREPARATION Our modern technology sheds some light on how my client went about it. My client writes, I will read in first person: 'In the beginning I created the heaven and the earth' 2 The literal translation by Young states: 'In the beginning I PREPARED the heaven and the earth' This is in the beginning, or before time was, he prepared it all just like we prepare a product, whether it is a website, a car, an interactive software application, or a book. At present we are limited to our four dimensions: time, length, width and height. The lack of these four-dimensional parameters is beautifully described in the next verse, 'The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.' 3 158

It could have taken my client a millisecond or billions of years ad infinitum to prepare his creation, as time did not yet exist. I will read from his writing, 'I made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew:' 1 The spirit of wisdom speaks of this preparation time, 'Oh you simple . . I wisdom . . speak truth . . When he had not yet made the earth, nor the fields . . Before the mountains were settled . . When he prepared the heavens, I was there . . When he appointed the foundations of the earth. . then I was by him . .' 2 He took his time to plan it and prepare it in such detail that we still constantly discover new things concerning it through science. Deep down inside, whether we are atheists, agnostics or believers, we all know that things could not just have come together like this out of a random explosion. Professor Stephen Hawkins, who is not exactly a promoter of my client, writes, ‗The remarkable fact is that the values of these numbers seem to have been very finely adjusted to make possible the development of life.‟ The question remains, 'Who or what finely adjusted these numbers?' Max Planck, Nobel scientist said, 'We must assume . . the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.' MODERN TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINS CREATION My client was preparing, designing, philosophizing, creating and weighing out the pro‘s and con‘s of his design. When everything was ready and his whole preparation to the minutest detail was in place and it was ready to be uploaded or launched into our four dimensions that we understand, he simply spoke his design into being. It is a system that we have not yet developed because it prints as it is uploading our design or creation. 159

My client‘s voice recorder activates his computer and as it uploads his data, it simultaneously prints and creates what it launches. Nowadays we have 3D printers, with which we are experimenting to try to print human organs.

My client‘s printer is not just a 3D printer, but a fascinating 8D printer. A printer that can print plants, trees, fruits, seeds and flowers with their feelings as well as the sun, moon and stars with their trajectories. It can print birds, fish and animals each different one from the other and each with their own instinct. All made up out of pure energy. Each 6 steps of uploading took less than a 24-hour day. We see that my client spoke his creation into being. Each new day in Genesis 1 starts with, 'And I said, let there be. .' ENERGY & KINETIC ENERGY Energy alone cannot create; it has to be active or kinetic energy. When my client speaks and goes into action, then his word becomes the active „kinetic energy‟. He is action; he works from simply changing hearts and minds to expanding the universe. My client actually revealed the simple formula on which his printing system operates to a humble man, in a patent office in Bern, Switzerland. This formula made him famous. When asked about his genius, he answered, ―I am nothing but a product of my parents and teachers.‖ 160

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

It is humble people like that, that my client likes working with. Not the high and mighty know-it-alls. The Danish scientist Øle Rømer was only 21 when he made his discovery concerning the speed of light. He then calculated the speed of light by observing the eclipses of Jupiter's moon during the years 1668–1674. This simple clerk in Bern, who was studying all these scientific papers that were submitted for patent copyright, wanted to find a simple formula by which everything exists. A formula that governs all mass and everything that is. Of course now we know the formula of Dr. Albert Einstein:

E=mc2

“If the solution is simple, God is answering.” 1

Energy (E) equals mass (m) times speed of light (c) to the square.

The First law of Thermodynamics states that 'Energy cannot be created nor destroyed', so it is and will always be. My client wrote: 'I am, that I am'.2. . he said four times, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end . . . the first and the last.' 3 Your Honour, my client is the energy that always is. Thus creation becomes very simple: my client, being energy, spoke and his word became the active 'kinetic energy', which equals that mass was produced instantly, by his word, at the speed of light to the square. His word was needed for creation to take place. When my client had his plan ready, all he needed to do was speak the word and the word did the rest. 'In the beginning was the word . . and without the word was not anything made that was made . .The word was made flesh and dwelt among us . . He was in the world that was made by him, and the world knew him not.' 4 Our four dimensional mindset cannot yet fully grasp the importance of this word for discovering our life's plan, goal and fulfillment. 161

E=mc2 also shows that mass, cannot exist without energy, without my client. If E = 0 then this means that without my client, or energy, there is absolutely nothing. Nothing can exist, nothing can be, no big bang explosion, nothing can take form or be mass, as only mass can exist because of energy. THE ACTION STARTS - FIRST OUR FOUR DIMENSIONS Seeing that nothing exists without time in our four dimensions, he first had to upload time. For time to exist he was required to create light. This light had to be separated from the darkness, to distinguish the days and to give colours their beauty: 'And my client said, Let there be light: and there was light. he divided the light from the darkness . . . the evening and the morning were the 1st day.' 1 Now TIME was in place. Next are LENGTH, WIDTH and HEIGHT. 'And he said, Let there be a firmament . . . and he divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament . . . the 2nd day.' 2 Firmament is Length and Width, while under and above is Height. NEXT - 'Earth's Organizing Force', (Newton called it gravity. Einstein said gravity can also be repulsive. Nikola Tesla implied it was Electric Movement or an Electromagnetic Force, and others say something else. To relate, we'll name it 'Earth's gravity'.) 'And I said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.' This means that the force, named as 'Earth's gravity' is in place. 'And he said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so . . the 3rd day.' 3 162

It's clear that the days are 24-hour days, as grass and vegetation cannot exist without the sun, which was created the next day. THE MYSTERIOUS UNIVERSE AND COOL MOON: 'And I said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And I made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: I made the stars also. And set them in the firmament of the heaven . . to give light upon the earth . . the 4th day.' 1 This tells that the moon gives its own light and is not a sun reflector. Amazingly moonlight is not warm but cold light, and it's some degrees cooler in direct moonlight than in its shade. 2 (proof is worth watching) 'the moon shall not cause her light to shine'.3 WHY 'EARTH'S GRAVITY' & VEGETATION BEFORE THE SUN? Your Honour, it somehow did not make sense to me. Recently while contemplating creation, I woke up at 2:30 a.m. and was wondering why my client launched this force that we call ‗Earth's gravity‘ with the grass and vegetation, before he uploaded the firmament of the heaven or the universe with the sun etc.? He should have placed the sun before he made the vegetation, because sunlight is needed for plant life. However the thought crossed my mind, 'Could it be that this 'Earth's gravity' was created first and afterwards the universe, as the Earth's organizing force holds the whole universe together and the Earth is the actual centre of the universe?' I tried to push it aside as entire nonsense and that this could not be and was totally crazy and not in line with Copernicus, who did away with all this in the 1500‘s. Everyone will say that I'm out of my mind and need to definitely get a brain-scan. Lately I learned he had no proof for his Nicolaus Copernicus 1473-1543 heliocentric hypothesis and hesitated to publish it. Yet now it's 'fact'. 163

That night I realized that my client tried to get a message across as I could not go back to sleep, so I researched further. It was previously assumed that the Earth‘s 'gravitation' weakens or diminishes at the rate of about 5% per century, more recently it is implied to be about 5% every decade.1 Like I said before concerning Lemaître, The expansion of the universe is a fascinating scientific discovery that even caught Einstein by surprise. Seeing that the universe was made after the 'Earth‘s gravity', this suggests that this force, possibly the electromagnetic bipoling pulling and repelling force, as suggested by Tesla, holds it all together. So the question is, DOES THE WEAKENING OF THE 'EARTH'S GRAVITY' HAVE A DIRECT INFLUENCE ON THE EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE, AND ARE THE TWO INTERRELATED? I stayed up, did research and came across this article: 'In 1929 Edwin Hubble announced that he had measured the speed of galaxies at different distances from us, and had discovered that the farther they were, the faster they were receding. . . This might suggest that we are at the centre of the expanding universe.‘ The article ends with: 'We still have no real answer to the question, Where is the centre of the universe?' 1

Edwin Powel Hubble 1889-1953

Hubble discovered that the farther the galaxies were, the faster they were receding. This makes total sense, if the 'Earth‘s gravity', or possibly this electromagnetic force is somehow holding the universe together. This force of course loses its strength with distance. Thus the farther away the galaxies are, the weaker this force and so the faster they will recede or move away.

Next I came across this following shocking, jaw-dropping article. 164

1. http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

‗Physics Professor John Hartnett, with Australia's University of Adelaide, studied the locations of some 400,000 GALAXIES from the 2005 Sloan Digital Sky Survey and was astounded to see a surprising form and pattern in how they're arrayed, ALL WITH EARTH AT THE CENTER.' 'As if the galaxies preferred to lie at some periodic spacing out from the Earth,' Hartnett explains in the documentary. 'This is sort of like saying that our galaxy is somewhere near the center of the universe, and when you look at the galaxies arrayed all around us, they're on sort of like gigantic shells.' 1

John Hartnett

There is apparently a movie or documentary made about it called 'the principle'. It is so shocking to the world of science, that even some scientists said afterwards, 'I have no idea how I ended up in that stupid geocentrism documentary. 'The best thing we can all do when faced by nonsense like that, or equivalent silliness promoted by biblical fundamentalists who claim that science supports a literal interpretation of the Bible, is to ignore it in public forums, and not shine any light on the authors of this trash.' Is he the kind of scientist that Marie Curie was referring to when she said, 'There are sadistic scientists who hurry to hunt down errors, instead of establishing the truth'? One shred of fact and objective evidence, that it is not true, is all that is needed. We don‘t need to abase ourselves to subjective, gutter-level, name calling. We don‘t have to be educated scientists to shout: 'Rubbish, Nonsense, Stupid idiots, Ridiculous, No-Brains, Trash, Fools, Fundamentalists, God-deluded, Bible-bashers, etc.' Any uneducated rogue can do that. 165

Once we promote what we know is not the truth then we start hiding behind a façade of seniority and 'don‟t confuse me with the facts, because my mind is made up.' HELIOCENTRISM? Consequently I researched that if the Earth holds the universe together, and the Earth is spinning around the sun, then is the whole universe spinning with us around the sun at 67000 miles per hour? This did not make any sense whatsoever. My client writes, 'And the sun stood still, and hasted not to go down a whole day.' 1 Why would the sun stand still, if it was already standing still according to Copernicus, but if geocentrism is true then the sun moves around us. UNITED NATIONS FLAG Your Honour, next I was in for the litmus test of my 'open mind'. Last month I met with an old friend, we enjoy each other's company and usually have a good laugh. During our conversation he said something that took me by surprise. He said in a serious tone of voice, 'Nath, do you know that the Earth is flat?' I looked at him and did not say much, I felt kind of sorry for my friend, as I thought that with his age he's now got dementia and has finally lost it. 'Nath, look for yourself. Look at the flag of the United Nations. It is a flag with the flat Earth map.' I changed the subject, and was saved by the bell as his wife called us to the dinner table. After dinner we said our goodbyes. This was probably going to be the end of our friendship. I don't know much, but one thing I knew one hundred percent for sure that the Earth was round, not flat, and I was not going to waste my time discussing that nonsense. Over the next few weeks I got busy with traveling and meetings, as well as preparing for the court case, but I kept being reminded of what Einstein said, „It is what we think we know that keeps us from learning.‟ So I challenged my 'open mind' and started researching last week. 166

Your Honour, as far as the flat Earth is concerned, I was not going to bring it up, as even mentioning the idea discredits my presence in this court, and I stand the chance of being labeled a lunatic. However the U.N. flag is clearly a flat Earth map with the North Pole at the centre. So if me mentioning this subject makes me a lunatic, where does that leave the UN? Then they must be total lunatics, as they proudly promote a flat Earth on their logo, banners and websites! Do they know something that is withheld from us? I am still in shock about it, as ever since childhood I was intrigued by the globe. Never the thought crossed my mind that it could possibly be flat, that was some ridiculous, religious church controversy and distant nonsense from the dark ages. What got me thinking was an explanation that if the spinning globe is a reality then the seas and oceans should be much higher level at the equator as this is where the waters would accumulate and swell. This made sense to me as the centrifugal force would cause the waters to bulge outward around the centre, no matter how strong the 'gravity'. Then I got to thinking how we are taught that the Earth spins over a 1000 miles per hour at the equator and that sound travels at 767 miles per hour. So how do people there hear each other? Does the whole biosphere and other spheres also go a 1000 miles per "I said, 'Welcome to the equator!'" hour, and if so should we not have more storms and hurricanes? Due to my work I travel between Kolkata (Calcutta) and Delhi. When I fly in the day time I prefer a window seat on the right or left side of the plane, depending on the direction I travel. 167

From there I can see the amazing Himalaya mountain range. However only now I realize that for miles and miles it is one straight line of beautiful snowcapped mountains, but no curvature.

20

Radius 3963

Curvature of the Earth C

Your Honour, so if the globe has a c radius of 3963 miles then going by a Pythagoras a2+b2=c2, we can calculate a curve of roughly 8 b 1 inches (7.98) to the mile.

C = Hypotenuse = Radius + Curvature

For instance on a clear day we can easily see a building 20 miles away with binoculars. Is that possible due to the Earth's curvature? 2 2 2 20 + 3963 = c 400+15705369 = c2 = 15705769 c = 3963.05047. So the curvature is 3963.05047 - 3963 = 0.05047 mile, which is 3197.78 inches, or 266.48 feet, or 81.22 meters. This means that from 20 miles or 33 km I will not be able to see things shorter than 266 feet or 81 meters tall, and that I know is not true. The Professor calls out, "I object one hundred percent. Your Honour, This goes too far. This the pinnacle of nonsense! If any of this were true where is the scientific proof? The Earth is a globe! They sent us photos from space of the Earth and it is a round sphere, Mr. Creation." The Lord Justice interrupts, "Professor, Mr. N. Voy asked to give his rhetoric without interruption, so no matter what he says, we have to honour that and you should also honour it, as you challenged him." "Your Honour, I was as convinced as the Professor that the Earth was, and is, and will always be, a globe. 168

But after I heard NASA explaining that we have never gone into space past the Van Allen Belt,1 then I started questioning the photos of the Earth's globe from outer space, and learned that they were artwork, and some 'photos' had different sized continents. Believe me, Your Honour and Professor, it was as much a mindbender for me as it is for anyone, and I can totally understand if you think that I have lost it. Yet I began on this research path because of the U.N. flag, and we all know that if we stop learning then we have become old. Several certain facts remain 2 and for those we have to set aside our prejudices and challenge ourselves to have an open mind.  Engineers of railways and canals do not include the curve of the Earth. 'This absurd allowance is only permitted in schoolbooks' says engineer W. Winckler published in the 'Earth Review' 1893. According to my earlier calculations a 40 mile canal should at midpoint (20 miles either way) be at least 266 feet (81 meters) deeper than at the ends, for the water to be level.  The Suez Canal is 120 miles long with no locks, but flat.  Lake Baikal in Siberia is over 400 miles long and is totally flat.  The Salt Flat in Bolivia is 4000 sq. miles and is like a mirror.  Even up to 20 miles above the Earth, we do not see the Earth's curvature but only a perfect flat horizon. (photos that show the curve are taken with a fish-eye lens)  There is a straight 180 miles railway line between London and Liverpool. With curvature, the rail would form an arc with the centre point at Birmingham, which should be 5,400 feet above London and Liverpool. Birmingham is 240 feet above sea level.

This photo by Nowicki is the Chicago skyline taken from across Lake Michigan 59 miles away. This is not possible with a curve, as the skyline should be 2320 feet below the horizon. 169

Both airplanes and submarines should adjust their altitude and depth according to the curvature, but they don't. At the sea side where I grew up I saw boats disappear 'over the horizon'. Later I learned that a good camera could bring these boats from 'over the horizon' back into focus.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH (clear & clean science) Your Honour, last night I watched a documentary of scientists from different respected institutes doing a seven year research programme to determine the Earth's shape. It is 1 hr 32 minutes documentary,1 but especially the second half is worth every minute! Conclusion: Earth is flat, but there is more beyond the South Pole ice-wall. A Must Watch! SPINNING OR STABLE? My client wrote, (there are other references besides these) 'He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.' 2 'You fixed the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.' 3 'all the earth sits still, and is at rest.' 4 This seems to indicate that the Earth is stable and doesn't spin a 1000 miles per hour on its axle, nor speeds around the sun 67000 mph, while our solar system travels at 514,000 miles per hour on its trajectory. If this were true then we might suffer from more dizzy spells. SOUTH POLE There are interesting discoveries concerning the South Pole not being the continent what we think it is, instead it seems to be a large ice wall around our flat Earth, like a giant edge around a bowl. I quote, 'Yes, but we can circumnavigate the South Pole easily enough,' is often said by those who don‘t know. The British Ship Challenger recently completed the circuit of the Southern region – but she was three years about it, and traversed nearly 69,000 miles.' 5 'Captain Cook sailed a total of 60,000 miles along the Antarctic coastline never once finding an inlet or path through or beyond the massive glacial wall.' 6 (see also pg. 130) 170

The longitudes, or meridians, below the equator are totally off and caused many a shipwreck, as we think the world is a round ball, but they are more or less like the spokes of a wheel going further and further apart. The North Pole being the hub and the South Pole the rim, which is the ice wall at around 78 degree southern latitude. Among others, Captain J. Clark Ross in his voyages around the Antarctic, stated that they found themselves an average of 12-16 miles outside their reckoning daily, later further south as much as 29 miles. My client writes, 'he that sits upon the circle of the earth,' 1 This confirms that the Earth is a circle, of which the South Pole is the startling circumference. This scripture is also used to explain that the Bible supports the globe or ball theory as it says circle, which is round. This interpretation is incorrect as the Bible also uses the word ball, 'toss you like a ball' 2 My client would have used the word ball to describe the Earth, if it was a ball. However he says circle, which is just that, a flat circle. 'WHAT IS TRUTH?' What about, the sun * (clean science), the stars, moon (also pg. 46,155,163) planets, sailing around the Earth? It's mindboggling and I ask, as Pilate asked Jesus, 'What is truth?' 3 - 'Truth sets us free' 4 from the entangling web of lies. - If we find and know the truth then we won't accept the lies, nor the twisted theories that uphold these lies! These 2 links,** while I don't endorse everything, are worth watching. Your Honour, please correct me if I am wrong, but are we being programmed to accept lies for truth, fear for faith, horror for beauty, hate for love, and ultimately Satan for God? 171

I am mainly concerned for our youth and their vulnerability. 'We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by . . . an unseen mechanism of society.' 1 My client wrote already two millennia ago, 'For the mystery of evil is already at work:' 2 Are the net and media leading us by the nose into craving mysterious evil? - 'Forget accountability, they hate me, I hate them, I can shoot them if I want to. God loves me, a joke, he hates me and I hate him.' Hate and reasons for hardship are often directed at my client. But he really is cool, he has a head on his shoulders, a great sense of humor, is a great problem solver, he knows what is going on, he is generous with a heart of gold, keeps his word and is the most amazing soul-mate. I tell him all, good and bad, and he loves me for it and in spite of it. However, I must say that he definitely has a mind of his own, he does not cow-tow to opinions, he knows what he wants and sees his projects through, no matter what we say or do, but he does listen to reason. Your Honour, thank you for reminding me that it is half-time. Back to the universe. A few months ago I came across this article: IS OUR UNIVERSE A HOLOGRAM A MERE PROJECTION? ‘In December, 2015, Japanese researchers attempted to tackle this problem by providing mathematical evidence that the holographic principle might be correct. The holographic principle suggests that, like the security chip on a credit card for example, there is a two-dimensional surface that contains all the information needed to describe a three-dimensional object - which in this case is our universe. We are living in a giant hologram, and everything we see around us is a projection of a 2D surface.‘ 3 172

This could very well be true as my client wrote that, 'he stretches out the heavens as a curtain' 1 'And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together' 2 Both a curtain and scroll are two-dimensional, so it does seem that the Japanese scientists are on to something. TWO KINDS OF FIRMAMENTS in Genesis 1, 'the waters which were above the "firmament' 3 'Let there be lights in the "firmament of the heaven' 4 The first firmament was created the 2nd day and is lower, as the waters above this firmament shielded us from the sun and cosmic rays. On the 4th day he placed the sun, moon and stars in the 'firmament of the heaven', which to my limited knowledge is the universe. According to Japanese discoveries this could be a projection of a two dimensional surface. I quote, "The word "firmament" is used to translate rāqîaʿ (ַ‫)רקַ֫יע‬,. ָ It is derived from the root raqqəʿ ( ), meaning "to beat or spread out thinly", e.g., the process of making a dish by hammering thin a lump of metal." 5

Here we clearly see, not a random Slow motion camera shows how Polaris stands stable in the centre of the stars universe flying past us at absurd speeds, but how all the stars rotate or wheel around Polaris, the North Star, in perfect synchronization, 6 straight above the North Pole, or the centre of the flat Earth map. Seeing that this map is promoted by the U.N., should we not all accept and endorse it as good U.N. citizens? Moreover I will write to my friend, and apologize for my attitude of 'don‟t confuse me with the facts, as my mind is made up.' We have been baffled by the beauty of the universe since the beginning of civilization. The Professor states that the Big Bang is silent concerning how the universe began. But let us look simply at the word universe. Universe is a contraction of two Latin words UNI, meaning One, and VERSUM, is verse or sentence. In other words one short sentence spoken by my client and there it was the Universe at the speed of light to the square. The concept of TIME At present we are limited to our four-dimensional world, and we don‘t yet comprehend infinity, limitless, perpetuity and without end, eternal time-less. It does not fit within the parameters of our four-dimensional mindset and boxes. Time is only four-dimensional. 'The latest research from Washington University suggests that in the quantum world time runs both backward and forward whereas in the classical world it only runs forward.' 1 Einstein wrote, '. . . for us physicists believe the separation between past, present, and future is only an illusion, although a convincing one.' My client wrote two millennia ago, that there will come a time that, 'there should be time no longer.' 2 When time comes to an end, and we leave our four-dimensional parameters, then we will experience reality as it actually truly is. I think that we might be so sorry then that we kept up our fourdimensional delusions of hiding our selfishness, corruption, lust for power, and our lack of concern for others, behind ‗Religious Piety‘, ‗Noble Politics‘, and ‗Just Wars‘, etc. But let me continue with creation, as next my client is getting into it and we see some amazing action. These are no Sunday school fairy tales, this is, SCIENCE TO THE MAX. 174

Job was not too happy, arguing with my client. He thought, like many of us, that he was such a righteous or good man and so he objected to the testing of his character. My client answered Job, ‘Will you condemn me, that you may be righteous? Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Do you know the ordinances of heaven? Can you send lightnings? Did you give the goodly wings unto the peacocks? Have you given the horse strength?

Does the hawk fly by your wisdom?’ 3 Then Job answered . . . ‘I uttered that I understood not; wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.’ 4 In other words ‗I did not know what I was talking about, I feel so stupid, and I am very sorry for my big mouth‘ 'My client blessed the end of Job more than his beginning.' 5 That is typical of my client, he dotes on us when we let go of our ego and come humbly to grips with reality. 175

NO RUSH, HE TOOK HIS TIME As for his creation, my client took his time with using six 24-hour days to upload his prepared design. He could have rattled the whole thing off, at the speed of light to the square. This option is now according to recent research a definite possibility. I quote, ‗If it is verified, the discovery will prove the theory that the universe expanded incredibly rapidly in less than a trillionth of a second after it was formed. Max Tegmark, a cosmologist at MIT, told the New York Times: "If this stays true, it will go down as one of the greatest discoveries in the history of science."‘ 1 British scientist, Dr. Jo Dunkley, of the European Planck Space Agency, commented, 'I can't tell you how exciting this is. Inflation sounds like a crazy idea, but everything that is important, everything we see today the galaxies, the stars, the planets - was imprinted at that moment, in less than a trillionth of a second. If this is confirmed, it's huge.' 2 My client spread it out over six days, he took his time, and he went slow and sat down at the end of every day, as he wrote, 'and I saw that it was good.' 3 So he took the time to enjoy what he was creating and to see if it was exactly how he wanted it. HIS 'MAGNUM OPUS' Now that he had everything in place, the stage was set for his ultimate creation, his ultimate work of art. This he did not want to speak into being – This final creation he wanted to make with his hands. „I formed man' Like the artist who becomes a part of his artwork, by putting his heart and soul and everything of himself into his creation and has pride in the work of his hands, so my client put his heart and soul into creating his final masterpiece, his 'Magnum Opus' - MAN. OUR SOUL AND CONSCIENCE 'And I formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.' 1 This is the utmost in 'mouth to nose resuscitation'. A brief look at our spiritual body. He created us in the four dimensional realm, yet 'he breathed into us the breath of life and man became a living soul‘. Our soul sets us apart from animals. No matter what anyone says, or tries to match DNA's. We have our soul, which is from a much higher dimension. That is why many of us feel like caged birds, as we are restricted to four dimensions, while our soul seeks to break free from these limitations, craving for love and freedom. This freedom we rediscover when we connect again with the source. 2 This breath of life is our soul and our conscience, which he breathed into us. This he gave with the freedom of choice to see if we would listen to our conscience, and in view of that to see what decisions we would make and how we would each develop our character. He created us as a self-portrait of his image, but we are recreating ourselves by our personal decisions, which is our freedom of choice. For this reason he placed gold and diamantes in the Earth, ultimately to test our character. Will we give or grab, share or shoot, love or hate? Now a brief look at our physical body. THE HUMAN CELL: The human cell has a genome. It is amazing how many different proteins and other functions the genome contains. The genome has a complete set of DNA, which contains around 3.2 billion DNA base pairs. The genome is arranged into 23 pairs of chromosomes and is estimated to contain 20,000 25,000 genes, which pretty much determine our physical and hereditary make-up. 177

In 2012 scientist discovered that the human cell has around 4,000,000 (four million) switches connected to the organs and different parts of the body. Thus the human cell is far more complex than London or Mumbai and we consist of 37.2 trillion cells 1 all working together. THE HUMAN BRAIN: Neuroscientist Jeff Lichtman 2 lectured at Harvard, that if we try to index our 1½ kg human brain we need several billion petabytes 3 of data storage. As of July 2013, the internet was approximately 5,000 petabytes. Google used 200 terabytes of this or 0.04%. (07/2013 - D. Schilling) Hence to attempt to index our brain, we need at least 2 billion petabytes, which equals 100 million times all the Google data, as of July, 2013. ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITTANICA Your Honour, members of the Jury, if I insist and tell you in all sincerity, that there occurred an explosion in a print shop, and consequently the 32 volumes of 'Encyclopedia Britannica' came together as a result, then obviously I have lost my reasoning senses and you will advise me to see a psychiatrist, and you should. Yet, the Encyclopedia Britannica is non-living matter, which has much greater probability to be assembled from non-living matter, than living matter evolving from non-living matter. 178

To index the encyclopedia takes 1 (one) Gigabyte. To index our brains, I am not even talking about the rest of our body, takes at least 2 quadrillion Gigabytes. Hence although my theory of the Encyclopedia Britannica evolving from a print-shop explosion is nonsensical and ludicrous, yet it is 2,000,000,000,000,000 times more probable than my brain coming together from an explosion in space. Your Honour, talk about brains, talk about science, talk about amazing still-to-be-discovered technology, scientific formulas, my client is the ultimate. My client knew exactly what he was doing, as Einstein said, 'God doesn't play dice.' BIOLOGICAL DATA STORAGE: DNA Your Honour, one human cell can store 1.5 GB (gigabytes) data in its DNA.1 The digital size of the Encyclopedia Britannica is approx 1 GB. 2 Therefore one human cell can easily hold the data of all 32 volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica. I quote, 'The work, carried out by George Church and Sri Kosuri, basically treats DNA as just another digital storage device . . . DNA can survive for hundreds of thousands of years in a box in your garage . . . in a droplet of DNA that would fit on the tip of your pinky. To store the same kind of data on hard drives — the densest storage medium in use today — you‘d need 233 3TB drives, weighing 151 kilos . . . Biological storage allows us to record everything . . .' 3 With unbelievable complex DNA biological data storage taken from living creatures, there is no doubt in my mind that my client is the unquestionable, absolute pinnacle of science. 179

RESURRECTION - CLONING NEW BODIES In Turin, northern Italy, is one of the most controversial, puzzling, and studied pieces of cloth in human history. The shroud of Turin is preserved in the 'Chapel of the Shroud' in the Turin Cathedral, and is deemed to be the 'grave cloth of Jesus'. In it we see his inflicted wounds, his swollen eye, the stripes on the back of his body, the cut marks of the crown of thorns on his head and the spear wound in his side. Although many have tried to ‗prove‘ that it is a fraud, as of today hundreds of scientists have found no explanation for the image on the shroud. All the theories from radiation to scorching to the bioplastic coating and from painting to vaporographic theories have been ruled out. The only alternative is that the image on the shroud was the result of the resurrection of his body. With Einstein‘s simple scientific formula, E=mc2, it all falls into place. In other words, when Jesus' dead body mass was raised at the speed of light to the square, in that moment of time, the speed of light to the square burned his image onto the fabric that covered him, and it left us the physical, material proof of his resurrection on his grave cloth.1 'Look, I show you a mystery. . In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (c2), at the last trump: for the trumpet 2 shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. . .' 3 Even this formerly unattainable feat and 'religious nonsense' now becomes possible as our DNA is almost impossible to be destroyed. Even if our physical DNA is destroyed, according to quantum physics we are spiritual beings. 180

I repeat: 'Quantum physicists discovered that. . if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature . . .' 1 People on Earth with severe handicaps have time-travelled and seen themselves completely whole in the heavenly realm. Those who have died, their soul will join their body again, as my client clones our personal DNA into a new incorruptible body at the speed of light to the square. Our personal DNA or 'our own unique energy signature' is recorded in an indestructible file, called, 'the Book of Life' 2 For this reason our actions and what we are learning will never be wasted, but will stay with us in our DNA forever after our resurrection. For believers resurrection means in scientific terms, that when my client goes into action and speaks then his word becomes the kinetic energy. At that point in time his word acts and his word comes to us and will clone our personal DNA into a new body at the speed of light to the square, while all that we learned is automatically part of us. Our new bodies will be similar to the one that Jesus had after his resurrection. He could freely shift in and out of our four dimensional parameters. He ate, walked through walls, disguised himself and wasn't subject to the force that we name 'gravity'. PAY-DAY Everyone else is raised on ‗pay-day‘. Did I choose love, or look the other way? Did I heal or hurt, care or curse, give or grab? Nothing will be swept under the carpet. Your life's memory will be played back for all to see. This is the good, the bad and the ugly. 'I saw the dead, small and great . . . and the books were opened . . and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.' 1 A child born in a war-torn country that saw her mother being raped before both her parents got killed, will get a much different ruling than those who instigated the war for greed. 'The day when God will judge the secrets of men' 2 My client relates very much to what Steve Jobs said: 'Maybe it‘s because I want to believe in an afterlife, that when you die, it doesn‘t just all disappear. The wisdom you‘ve accumulated, somehow it lives on, but sometimes I think it‘s just like an on-off switch. Click and you‘re gone. And that‘s why I don‘t like putting on-off switches on Apple devices.'3 My client blessed him for that statement, because he departed from this 1955-2011 world with a sense of wonder, saying, 'Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.' 4 If Steve Jobs does not like on-off switches, neither does my client. He will not just flip the switch on us. We will have to face the music for our deeds, the good ones and the greedy ones, the sneaky ones and the public ones. All will come under the spotlight and will then be known. But let's get back to the beginning to his Magnum Opus. 182

My client also said to Adam: 'you return unto the ground; for out of it you were taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.' 1 ‗A decomposing body significantly alters the chemistry of the soil beneath it, it causes changes that may persist for years – Eventually the whole process creates a highly concentrated area of organically rich soil, as well as releasing nutrients into the wider ecosystem.‘ 2 Your Honour, isn‘t it time that we leave our rebellious immature stage? If geniuses like Newton, Pasteur, Planck, Einstein, all believed in a designer and even Charles Darwin said, 'To suppose that the eye . . . could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree', isn‘t it time we wizen up? POSITIVE ENERGY My client is energy in the purest, most positive form, which is love. Love that is manifested on Earth in creativity. Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love. 3

Love creates art, sculptures, paintings, music and babies - all which fill us with such exhilarating glee.

Go for a walk and enjoy it. Ride a horse, it‘ll thrill you. Hold a girl, it will change you. Go for a swim, it will renew you. It is all put there for us to enjoy, because he only wants the very best for us. Time and again we use our intelligence to prove ourselves right. However if we relax and open up to the beautiful things around us, then life becomes an amazing journey. 183

In enjoying it we partake of his life-giving energy and we get renewed, reinvigorated and get that spring back in our step. All of nature is there to bring us his positive energy. Our insurmountable problems and disastrous obstacles will turn into challenges that we want to conquer and find answers for, because his positive energy will help us tackle it. Remember, 'No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.' 1 Once we tap into my client, nothing becomes impossible! 2 Seeing that we are all made out of pure energy, let us make sure that we tap into the right energy source. The positive one, which will lift us above the mundane and will help us find solutions. BLACK HOLES On the contrary, the negative energy can suck you into a black hole vortex of despair and hopelessness. Black holes are very real and inside each star in the universe there is a battle royal going between the gravitational pull of the star pulling inwards on the one side, and explosions pushing outward. These nuclear explosions inside the star that are pushing outward are creating pressure to balance against the gravitational pull of drawing the star inwards, to make it a black hole. When the energy of the star has died out, the star collapses under its own weight and it becomes a black hole.3 184

My client compares us to stars. He says, 'They that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.' 1 My client on the one side is the positive energy of our star and if we partake of that energy we get renewed, inspired, and reinvigorated with positive explosions pushing and thinking outwards towards others and how we can be of help to them. On the other hand with the negative, gravitational pull inwards, we acquire a negative mindset where egotism, frustrations, fear, stress, discouragement, depression, and eventually suicidal tendencies will gain the upper hand. We become a black hole to those around us, sucking in their energy with our negative inward pull of gloomy self-absorption. I quote: 'Black holes can also consume material torn from nearby stars. In fact massive black holes can swallow stars whole.' 2 This shows we need to be very careful concerning the company that we keep, and not allow ourselves to get sucked in to their negative pull. 185

This negative gravitational pull inside us strengthens itself when we absorb negative vibrations, through horror movies, depressive music, violent video games, etc., and allow them to become part of us. It is very difficult to get out of that sucking, negative, addictive vortex, unless you invoke my client‘s help, who will assist those that genuinely come to him and earnestly seek his help. However we cannot blame our fears and negativity on the violent video games, the depressive music or the horror movies, as we are personally responsible for what we watch, play and do. I cannot blame the TV for wasting my time and frying my brain with a useless, bad programme, while I hold the remote control with the on-off switch in my hand. I can waste my time, or turn it off and do something positive, that is not the TV's decision, nor my client‘s decision, but that decision is one hundred percent mine. My personal on-off switch is my freedom of choice. That is my right! 'REBELLION IS NOT WHAT MOST PEOPLE THINK IT IS, REBELLION IS WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE TV AND START EDUCATING YOURSELF AND THINKING FOR YOURSELF.' 1 Your Honour, I would like to end with what Max Planck said, 'As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clearheaded science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about the atoms this much: There is no matter as such! 186

All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. . . . CHAPTER 14 THE FINAL DEFENSES ―Members of the Jury, ladies and gentlemen, this is the final session of 'Evolution and Creation' court case. We call on the Professor to make his defense on behalf of evolution.‖ THE EVOLUTION DEFENSE “Your Honour, last Friday I challenged Mr. N. Voy to prove scientifically how creation happened. I must say he has tried, but it has left me with a lame feeling. I have had several meetings over the weekend with other university professors and I can only say, dear Jury, that it is an absolute, nonsensical, childish and simplistic explanation of our origins. We scientists stand by the facts of carbon-dating, we hold on to facts already established by Copernicus in the 1500's that the Earth is not the centre of the universe. Your Honour, members of the Jury, what we have seen and heard here this morning is beyond comprehension that Mr. N. Voy wants to take us back to the flat Earth of the dark ages, way before there was any enlightment of facts whatsoever. Here we have the clearest proof of how great scientific discoveries are replaced by religious suspicions. I ask you to put aside all this nonsensical, nonscientific, ridiculous, so-called evidence and all the words that are spoken and listen to your heart. Put aside all the questionable photographs, which I would say are downloads from dubious blogs and websites. These are websites that are insinuating that some conspiratory secret organization is responsible for unexplained events. Where is this Mr. D.Vine, or so called God? He is nowhere to be seen, however to the contrary where do we find Mr. Charles Darwin? 189

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

He is in every textbook that we teach to our children, who are the hope of our future. The process of evolution has become the corner stone of science. Dear Jury, may I ask you to look in your purse? Mr. Darwin is there on our ten-pound note. He is judged by society at large on the same level as our beloved Queen, as they are both present on the same ten-pound bill. These are not just words or photographs from untrustworthy blogs, these are facts. The Royal Society has created in memory of Mr. Charles Darwin the ’Darwin Medal’ which is awarded every alternate year, with a monetary reward of £1,000,- for work of acknowledged distinction in the broad area of biology, notably in evolution,1 population biology, organismal biology and biological diversity. I present you with facts and that, for me, ladies and gentlemen, is circumstantial evidence enough. Mr. Darwin’s evolution has debunked the simplistic idea of creation which is put forth in a naive storybook. Mr. Darwin studied the writings of Mr. D. Vine’s storybook. He held a degree in theology as a young student, but, Your Honour and dear Jury, he got wiser, he grew up and started listening to his heart and started seeking for hard evidence, instead of stuffing his mind with stories that sound good, but have no intrinsic value. Therefore, Your Honour and members of the Jury, I want to petition you to ban Mr. D. Vine’s storybook, which goes under the pretext of the Greek word ‘biblos’ or in our language “Bible”. It should be prohibited from all educational institutions, as it brings confusion to the minds of the younger students and the more vulnerable among the populus. I have but one request, that you will follow your heart in this serious matter. 190

I ask, that you will make a sound judgement not based on fairy tales from the dark ages, but on scientific and biological research led by enlightened minds of science based on facts that we hold dear to our hearts. This is all I have to say: Listen to your heart, see the facts of carbon-dating, instead of religious Sunday school stories. Science and knowledge is the only way forward. I trust that you will make the right decision and not be scared off by some religious deity, who will punish you if you don’t believe in his stories of which creation is the worst.” There is silence. ―Are you finished, Professor?‖ “Yes, Your Honour, there is nothing more that I can say.”

―Then the court calls on Mr. N. Voy to make his final defense for creation.‖

THE CREATION DEFENSE ―Your Honour, ladies and gentlemen of the Jury, I would like to reiterate that we are not talking about rewards or banknotes. If that would be the case I would like to show the scientist Michael Faraday, a staunch believer in the creation process, not on the ten-note but on the twenty-note bill. However, Your Honour, we are not politicians trying to outsmart the other party with clever remarks. We are serious, responsible citizens and parents of children, who are trying to establish our origins and the truth concerning that, either by the process of evolution or creation. Truth is truth. Truth has to be the foundation of the education that we give our children, otherwise we spin a web where lies are considered truth and truth is considered lies. We will create a generation of liars and cheats, because this is what they have been taught in school. Your Honour, members of the Jury, evolution teaches us that we are becoming more and more developed and knowledgeable with greater achievements. The question that I am asking is, 'What are these greater achievements?' - That we went to the moon? - That we can take photos of the horizon with fisheye lenses? - That we teach our children how by a freak of nature we have become intelligent monkeys? THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE NET & SOCIAL MEDIA An interesting study is, "Experimental evidence of massive-scale emotional contagion through social networks" 1, as it shows how Facebook is manipulating its users by the 'like' button, and is leading them to experience the same emotions without their awareness. The inexperience of our children and openness of our youth is now manipulated into many types of unbelievable entertainment. 192

VALUES ARE OBSOLETE IN GAMES The Blue Whale game challenges you in 50 tasks to commit suicide. Young children learn through 'harmless fun games' how to cast spells, self-harm, torture and demonic crimes. I was researching Pokémon on Wattpad and discovered that as the result of one episode 700 children in Japan were taken to hospital with fits. As I clicked some more on Wattpad, I came across 'UNLEASH YOUR IMAGINATION' i.e., 'You are a secret killer for a few years, nobody can ever track you.' Or 'UNLEASH YOUR IMAGINATION', 'One night you decided that you have had enough and killed your parents.' 1 Is that what we want from our children? Do we hate them that much? For the teens and adults we have ‗Resident Evil‗, G.T.A., etc.etc. Because of the lies we are fed, our society will deteriorate into total confusion, disorder and violence, because what is the use if we are nothing but pieces of living human waste, washed ashore among the rubbish of humanity? Seeing it takes one to know one, I would like to quote Joseph Goebbels, 2 'If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it . . . repress dissent, for truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.' Your Honour and Jury members, is this where we are headed again? HENCE I PETITION THE COURT: Due to the circumstantial and direct evidence that I have presented and will still present to the court and the moral obligation that we have towards our youth, I request that the writings of my client, also known as the Bible will be declared as factual concerning our origins. In view with the human right of religious freedom, where everyone is free to believe as one wishes, that the „theory of evolution‟ be officially declared a religion. 193

Although I have only presented circumstantial evidence, I would like to add a word of caution, seeing our individual verdict could determine where each of us would personally spend eternity, in a bubbling, chemical soup with slimy, sliddering creatures? Or with a creator who is motivated by love, a soul-mate, who has so much trust and faith in each of us that he left us with a reasoning mind and the freedom of choice to make our personal decisions concerning our personal future.‖ The Professor pushes aside his security guard and shouts, “I object, object, object! The witness is trying the scare tactics of his client again. His last statement is a load of manure as when our life ends, it ends and is finished. To believe this religious fantasy that there is life beyond the grave is a scare tactic to make us want to behave and become some slimy, ever hopeful, religious lunatic. I hate this non-scientific ridiculous approach to our origins.‖ Shouting from the balcony, ―Yeah, good for you Professor, I am so glad that finally someone is telling the truth about these rotten idiots, I hate this whole, f&*^%$#, stupid, idiotic, religious nonsense.‖ The cameras are zooming in to this man and to the Professor. The Justice is pounding his gavel and raises his voice, ―SECURITY, PLEASE CLEAR THE PERSON THAT MADE THE COMMENT ON THE BALCONY. Professor, if you do not control your tongue, then Security, please escort the Professor out.‖ “I don’t care, I have sat through this day's sessions and it is enough for me. I am sick of the whole rotten stupidity of this court and the witness of Mr. N. Voy. It is just too much for me.” 194

The Professor practically collapses in his chair and starts gasping for breath. It seems that the stress and excitement is proving too much for him. He is breathing heavily and bending over while he clutches his heart in obvious pain. The security guard is wiping the Professor's brow, to the obvious irritation of the red faced Professor. ―Are you okay, Professor?‖ asks Mr. N. Voy, ―Is there something we can do for you? Could we get you a glass of cold water?‖ The Professor screeches, “You stay away from me! I need fresh air!” The Justice nods to the security guard next to the Professor to see if he can take him out of the courtroom. ―I think it will be appropriate to call an ambulance.‖ Whilst this was going on floor of the courtroom, on the balcony, the two security guards are having a tougher time, as the person has handcuffed himself to the balcony railing-bar and keeps screaming profanities. The press is delighted with these developments. As the Justice is looking around at a the commotion, he announces with a slight smile, while pounding his gavel, ―We will take a 30-minute recess till 3:20. In between time the court maintenance can cut the handcuff. The doors of the courtroom will close again at 3:15.‖ __________ 195

Thirty minutes later. ―Everyone, please, be seated.‖ The Justice is pounding his gavel and raises his voice, ―ORDER IN THE COURT!‖ ―This is the exact reason why I preferred not to have the press in the courtroom, because some people, by doing something outrageous, can get their picture taken and even end up on the front page of a newspaper. I would soon like to bring this case to closure. Was there anything else Mr. N. Voy that you wanted to say before you got interrupted?‖ ―Yes, Your Honour. I was going to present the court with a report from Science Digest stating that: ‗Scientists who utterly reject evolution may be one of our fastest growing controversial minorities . . . Many of the scientists supporting this position hold impressive credentials in science. ‘ I will give the list to the court recorder.‖ From Science Digest: There are 'Over 600 voting scientists of the ‗Creation Research Society‘. Voting membership requires at least an earned master's degree in a recognized area of science. (Note: The following list is very incomplete. A complete list would be extremely lengthy, and some scientists would rather not have their name made public due to justified fear of job discrimination and persecution in today's atmosphere of limited academic freedom in evolutionist-controlled institutions.' Concerning the list it says, ‗nor does it necessarily indicate anything about their religious beliefs.‘ Your Honour, but it does indicate that they have common sense, which is not too common these days. And the list keeps growing: At CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire), German nuclear physicist and professor at the Department of physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ), Gunther Scheizle . . . told . . 'I once threw a heavy physics book at one of my students just because he even mentioned the possibility of Intelligent Design in the universe . . .' A 'powerful and divine vision of luminous beings' hit the 57-year-old nuclear physicist during tests on the large hadron collider last month, forcing him to reconsider his 'previous understanding of life and the universe . . . All my preconceived notions of reality were permanently destroyed . . . may God help us find the true meaning of life, be it through prayer or science.' he concluded. 1 199

I quote Dr. Arthur E. Wilder-Smith FRSC 1, Ph.D., an honoured scientist with three earned doctorates, 'The evolutionary model says that, ‗it is not necessary to assume the existence of anything, besides matter and energy, to produce life.‘ That proposition is unscientific. 1915 - 1995 We know perfectly well that if you leave matter to itself, it does not organize itself – in spite of all the efforts in recent years to prove that it does. Your Honour, members of the Jury, if as detectives we want to find out 'Who did it?', then we look for fingerprints. My client left his fingerprints all over the place. We have two kinds of detectives those who see and those who do not see. Those who see, find evidence galore. Those who don‘t see can‘t find a single fingerprint. Yet they produce complicated theories that it just happened, in order to cover up their incompetence that they cannot find out 'Who did it?' I quote Dr. Steven M. Holland, Professor Geology at the University of Georgia, 'We [scientists] wouldn't know truth if it jumped up and bit us in the ass.' Dr. Holland gives the exact reason why my client is no longer believed because as he says, 'we scientists wouldn't know truth . . .' My client does not distort the truth, because he is truth. Upon accepting this, the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. He stands accused of writing foolish, childish fables. Unless the accusers can produce one shred of solid, scientific evidence, based not on theories but on facts, that what they say about my client is true - until then the fact remains that they themselves are, what they make my client out to be; the authors of foolish, childish fables. Your honour, I came accross this caricature 2 which sums it all up! 200

That is all, Your Honour, members of the Jury, thank you very much for your patience.‖ ―The members of the Jury will now withdraw for 30 minutes and determine their verdict.‖ Doors will close at 4:15, so we will all be seated again by 4:20 to hear their verdict and then I will give my ruling.‖ __________ Cameras are clicking as the press rushes towards Mr. N. Voy sticking several microphones in his face. A smart looking lady asks, ―Sir, the Professor said that you got your information from websites that are insinuating that some conspiratory secret organization is responsible for unexplained events. What is your response to that?‖ ―Dear Madam, let this go on record that I have zero interest in websites that are insinuating that some conspiratory secret organization is responsible for unexplained events. I have used the same websites as the Professor and all the links are recorded in the transcript of the case, so you are welcome to see for yourself. CHAPTER 15 THE JUDGMENT & RECOMMENDATION ―All be seated. Members of the Jury, would you please pass me your verdict?‖ The Lord Justice reads quietly . . . and then clears his throat, ―The Jury is divided and could not come to a unanimous verdict. In the eventuality that this would happen, I had spoken beforehand with the court recorder for a suitable solution. Thus, as presiding Justice over this court, I advocate that those who have been present at the case and have formed their opinion from all the material presented by both parties, accept the responsibility to give their personal judgment. This request also pertains to those who have read this transcript of the case. With the verdict still pending I urge you to pass your vote to the scribe of this case, Mr. Peters. He has a comment box available on his website at the bottom of the homepage. Please be so kind as to give your vote online at: www.johanpeters.in Myself, as Justice, along with the members of the Jury, and both the witnesses are looking forward to your vote so this case can find closure, which is of utmost importance. As Justice presiding over this important case, I give the following recommendation; 203

In the Beginning . . . . then What?

www.johanpeters.in

Until the final judgment is given, I recommend that the transcript of this court case, named, 'In the Beginning . . . then What?' becomes an unbiased student and teacher guide in our educational intitutions, concerning subjects relating to Evolution and Creation. This is with the aim that our young minds can form their personal opinions, after studying both sides. With this the official hearing of the case 'Evolution and Creation' is now closed. Judgment is pending, ladies and gentlemen, according to your vote. Ladies and gentlemen, members of the Jury, defendants, scribe and security staff, thank you very much.‖ _______________

With this the honourable Lord Justice leaves the courtroom and withdraws to his office. The press is clamouring and chasing Mr. N. Voy with questions and microphones. The same lady asks Mr. N. Voy, ―Sir, are you happy with the recommendation of the judge?‖ ―Ma'am, I am happy that the judge made this unusual recommendation, so that those attending and those reading the transcript of this 'Evolution and Creation' case, will give their personal verdict, concerning what each one feels is truth. This of course also includes you, madam.‖ 204

The Alpha / Beginning The Omega / End

“The kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: When it was full, they drew it to shore. . . so shall it be at the end of the world” (Matthew 13:47-49)

At present we feel safe in the protection of the Kingdom of God, the net. Four times the Lord said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” 1 The Alpha, the beginning for us, is Genesis 1 – The Creation, or the start of the net of God’s Kingdom on the one side. If we can “prove with theories” (theories that are not based on scientific facts) that creation is but an allegory, or is only a Sunday school story for little children, like Santa Claus. Then we have eliminated the beginning side of the net that will bring in the fish. For the Alpha part, the Creation we have studied "In the Beginning . . . then What?", which gives a scriptural, scientific alternative to the many theories about our origins. Next, for us as believers, is the Omega or the end, which is The Rapture or the Lord’s Return. If we can “prove with other theories” that Jesus was wrong about the rapture, when he said that he will return “after the tribulation” 2 and we make it before, then when Jesus does not come before the tribulation, many will fall away, as by then our faith will be so weakened by the false prophets with their confusing Pre-Post-Mid-tribulation, Any-time theories about the Rapture. Consequently the net of God’s Kingdom has lost its strength and drawing power for those of us that go for the theories, rather than what is written. It is my hope and prayer that you will download 'the Little Book', which gives the scriptural answers about Omega Part, the Lord's Return. Is He still the Alpha and Omega for us? “When the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?" 3, or will it all be gone to the wind, with the theories and "the wisdom of man that is such foolishness to Him." 4 206

I was one of those youngsters that pesters grown-ups with the question - but why? I still pester and probe to discover some out-of-the-ordinary answers. Part 1 - 'In the Beginning . . . . then What?' is a heated court case dealing with questions concerning our origins; the dinosaurs, ice-periods, fossils, natural selection, mutations, carbon dating, quantum physics, etc., and how it all comes together. Part 2 - 'My Controversial Client' addresses hard-hitting questions about religion, natural disasters, is there truth in the major world religions? Is Christ what he is made out to be?
