Automated Boost FAQ May 2019 Questions? 425.394.0943 or boost@johnlscott.com
Does this cost more than regular Boost, which is $49 per week? No. There are three different budgets you can choose from, starting at $49. You can also choose if you would like your ad to last for one week, two weeks, three weeks or four weeks. If you would like to get more exposure for your listing, you can increase your budget to $90 or $124.
How is this different than regular Boost? First and foremost, Automated Boost makes it easier for you to market your listings. Once you log into your account, your listings will appear in your dashboard. All you have to do is select “Boost” and the ad pre-populates with your listing photo, headshot and listing information. Secondly, your ads are placed on Facebook and Instagram, like the regular Boost program, but also as display ads across the web – which is a new feature! Thirdly, all of these ads are optimized for clicks – there is no lead option. The ads link to the listing detail page, however, which does include a contact form that directs all leads back to you. Any leads you receive through this contact form will be much higher-intent than a Facebook lead.
How do I log in? All you need to do is navigate to www.mydesk.johnlscott.com, log into your account, and then select the “Listing Boost by Homespotter” icon in the Quick Links section of the home page. Then, you will be directed to the Automated Boost dashboard, which pre-populates with all of your active listings and open houses.
How do I Boost an ad? Once you are logged into the Automated Boost dashboard, you will see all of your active listings and open houses. They will each have a green “Boost” button underneath them. All you need to do is select that button, double check the text and photos that are auto-generated for your ad, and input your payment information (you’ll only need to do this the first time you are ordering). Additionally, you will receive emails from boost@homespotter.com when your listings or open houses go live that prompt you to order a Boost ad.
Can I change the listing photo on the ad? What about my headshot, or the listing headline and description? Yes, you can change all of these aspects of your ad. After you select “Boost” on a listing, you will have the option to edit the photo as well as the description text boxes and headline text box. If you would like to change your headshot, you can select your name on the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard and click on “Account Settings.” There you will have the option to upload a new photo (the minimum file size is 100 pixels by 100 pixels).
If my listing is an Exceptional Homes listing, will it have luxury branding? If your listing’s price qualifies for Exceptional Homes branding, your ad will automatically feature luxury branding.
Where do the ads link to? These ads will link to the listing detail page.
I don’t see my active listing in the dashboard – where could it be? Your dashboard is synced with our listing feed. If you just listed your listing, it may take an hour or two to show up in the dashboard. However, if your listing is still not in the dashboard within 24 hours of you listing it, you can contact support@homespotter.com for more help.

How will I receive reporting and analytics on my Boost ad?1 Your active ad campaigns will appear at the top of the dashboard with current results. If you click on the campaign, you will have options to increase exposure, edit the campaign or deactivate the campaign. You will also be able to schedule reports to yourself by clicking on the campaign.
Can I send the ad and its results to my seller? How can I make sure that my seller sees this ad?2 Yes, you can! Once you have selected your ad campaign in your dashboard, there are two options you can select. The first one, “Add Seller Info” will give you the option to add your seller’s full name and email address to ensure that your seller is also included in the ad’s targeting. At this point, you can also select to send an ad preview email when the campaign starts, and an ad summary when the campaign ends. The second option, “Email Seller Results” will send your seller the current results of your ad campaign.
