Lower Sixth experience university life

A recent trip to Royal Holloway, University of London, proved to be a wonderful practical learning exercise for Lower Sixth Form.

Pupils had the opportunity to look around the university as well as take part in some interesting activities, including working together to brainstorm ideas for new clubs and societies and, most importantly, taking part in a competition to see who could put a duvet cover on the fastest (a vital skill for university!) – and much more besides. As part of the visit, Lower Sixth received an enlightening talk on the university’s application process and the essential things they would need to think about, such as student finance and writing personal statements. It was a very informative session and something Lower Sixth were grateful for. n
