Finn competes in Poland

Finn K travelled to Kroclaw, Poland on Friday 10 June to compete in Challenge Wratislavia, an international fencing competition which is the biggest in the world for children under 15.

During the five-day challenge, competitors fight in foil, epee and sabre. The tournament takes place on a top world level - it really is the ‘best of the best’ globally who travel to compete here.

Finn competed against 109 U15 fencers and ended his day as a quarter finalist, with an impressive seventh place. This was his last Challenge Wratislavia tournament and he showed great determination along the way in very gruelling conditions in the heat. n
