Finn competes in Poland Finn K travelled to Kroclaw, Poland on Friday 10 June to compete in Challenge Wratislavia, an international fencing competition which is the biggest in the world for children under 15.
D
uring the five-day challenge, competitors fight in foil, epee and sabre. The tournament takes place on a top world level - it really is the ‘best of the best’ globally who travel to compete here. Finn competed against 109 U15 fencers and ended his day as a quarter finalist, with an impressive seventh place. This was his last Challenge Wratislavia tournament and he showed great determination along the way in very gruelling conditions in the heat. n
