TANGLED STATE Life itself is such a deceptive domain Never pronounces the word ‘satisfaction’; Trying to brush aside all dispassion It craves for never ending passions, Pride and ego under the garb of wit Manipulate us to outwit our right wit. If worldly motivations rule the mind I-ness and my-ness are openly found; In the cell of worldly fascinations Itself, when the mind imprisons, It encircles the light of awareness, And hide it behind the veil of darkness. Egoism stirs debates and arguments Tries to ditch with hollow attachments, For granted, it classifies reality as fake Misleading our inner-self, it provokes; Let’s try to shore up the awareness state To free ourselves from the tangled state.
