Of Life and Resilience

“My Fortress”

Snuggled up in blankets tight, Cozy in bed so warm and bright, Outside the world may rage and roar, But here I have my own rapport.

The sun may rise and paint the sky, But I'm content to close my eyes, And dream of places far away, Where I can go and laugh and play.

The wind may howl and trees may sway, But I'm happy to just lay, And listen to the raindrops fall, In my fortress, my cozy hall.

There's beauty in the world outside, But sometimes I need to hide, And find my peace within my bed, Where I can rest my weary head.

So go on and rage, outside world, I'll be here, my blankets curled, Safe and sound within my nest, Until it's time to face the rest.

For in my fortress, I can see, The strength that lies inside of me, And though the storms may come and go, I know I have a place to go.

"We Fall, We Rise"

By Ryalin M. Libelo

Life is like a weather, with calm and thunder Unveil your emotions, let them pull you from under Our resilience in adversity shall keep us alive The gale may blow at any moment, but we'll strive

We fall and rise, like the ocean's tides Crashing, retreating, then swelling with pride Sometimes the undertow feels too strong to bear But even in the darkness, hope is always there

Slowly, we climb towards the light Our strength renewed, with every fight The scars of our past become our shield Guiding us forward, refusing to yield

Our journey may not always be kind But we persevere with an unbreakable mind We fall and rise, each time stronger than before This time, we'll always ready for more.

For life is not just a stormy sea

It's a journey of discovery, of who we can be So let's embrace each moment, with gratitude and grace And cherish this journey, as we find our place.

Life's challenges are but stanzas in our poem, yet with resilience, we rhyme them into a beautiful masterpiece.
