from your 2020-2021 board

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR MEMBERS, ADVISORS, AND KIWANIANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT! THIS TERM WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS WITHOUT ALL OF YOU

Hey monsters! As this is the last newsletter for this Key Club term, I want to thank you all for staying by our side this school year despite the circumstances. This year was truly not what I expected, but I am forever grateful for the handful of members who continued to attend our events and meetings as well as participate in service! It saddens me knowing that I did not get to know you all as I would’ve in person, but I do recognize all the names that continued to support the club throughout the year so don’t hesitate to reach out whenever in the future as I would love to get to know all of your beautiful souls! Though this year did not have as many opportunities to make memories as a Key Clubber, I hope that from this term, what you take away are the memories of all the dedication you had for service and the club, as you always logged into Zoom for hours— just to serve your community! I know staying motivated and passionate for service during times like this can be difficult, but I applaud all of you for contributing to the club and to your community! Serve on, monsters!

KALEY XIONG PRESIDENT

HEY MONSTERS! Have you guys had a fun year, how do you feel? Students this past school year have really gone through so many hardships. Sadly, the term for our current board members is about to end and new officers will be installed. I want to give good luck and best wishes for our officers next term. Hopefully once the pandemic ends, the situation can get better for our club. I'm looking forward to how y'all will do next year!

JACK TRAN VICE PRESIDENT

Hey monsters! I can't believe how quick this term passed by; it felt like yesterday when I ran for a position. Despite the circumstances this term had to deal with, I had a great time with fellow officers and you, the members as well. We were able to push through this year and do the best we can. I'm so proud of everyone and I am so glad to have served you as this term's secretary. I can't wait to see what the next board has in store for us the next term, and I hope to see you all in the next year again!

CELINE NGUYEN SECRETARY

Monsters! It’s already the end of the 20202021 term! Wow! That was a fast one. It sucks that us officers weren’t able to meet and do service with y'all in person but, I’m sure we’ll get plenty of opportunities for service in the next term. There were barely any fundraisers that I could’ve done and there was no FRN or DCON. Sure, it was a pretty uneventful term but, I’m positive there’ll be tons of fun in the next one. It’ll definitely be better and I hope to experience it with you guys! Thank you for the term. Now as my last words in this letter, HOW DO YOU FEEL?

JEFF TRAN TREASURER

Happy spring monsters! Thank you for reading the last issue of the Monstrous Report and supporting up until now. This term has not been what we all wanted, but I am proud for what we have accomplished and done this year despite everything. I wish we could’ve gotten to know each other more or meet in person but nonetheless I’ve truly enjoyed the experience of serving as your Bulletin Editor. I hope to see you all next term even better, till then stay well!

What’s up monsters! This year was pretty different from our previous years but we were able to make it through together. I’m glad, I, and the other officers got to bond with you guys through our online socials, meetings, and service fridays. We were able to push through together this year and I’m glad I was given the opportunity to recognize you guys for your amazing efforts. I’m excited to hopefully be able to do more service with you guys in the future, that being said I hope to see you guys next year with the same amazing effort.

KELLY LE MEMBER RECGONITION

Hey besties! The term is sadly coming to an end, but it was a pleasure serving as your tech editor <3 Though we can't meet in person to celebrate our accomplishments, I thank you all for your hard work and dedication to serve the community! I hope all you underclassmen continue your Key Club journey and for COVID to go away soon, so you all can get the full experience :] This is my last year in Key Club, but I wish next term nothing but success and if you ever need some help I'm always here <3

Hey There Monsters! Sadly the term is coming to an end and I am super grateful for having the opportunity to serve you as your Social Chair for the term. Even with the circumstances this year, you guys accomplished so much and I wish we could celebrate this in person together. Being a part of this organization for the past four years has given me so many unforgettable memories that I will never forget. I wish we were able to talk in person so I could get to know each one of you. Stay safe, healthy, and keep accomplishing so much more!! For the last time ever, With Lots Of Love,

HANNAH DAO SOCIAL CHAIR

Hi yall, before I say anything I would like to thank everyone for sticking with us through these difficult times. I know it has been very hard and I am happy that many of yall are still with us and hope you stay next year! Anyways, this has been a crazy term and just like most of them it went by so fast as well. I do apologize for not doing the best job with providing at home service but thank you for doing the ones that were there. Please keep that determination when we do get more service in the future. So here is to hoping for a greater next year! (and stay safe everyone!!)

KEVIN JOSH SALIMO SERVICE TASK COOR.

recap of events

KIWANIS CRAB FEED | 13th As the first in-person service event of this year, five people from our club were able to attend a Rancho Murieta Kiwanis Crab Feed! While a couple members packaged the food others did run and supply and some walked around advertising for the event. Hopefully as time progress we can get back to attending in-person events once again!

ELECTIONS | 23rd Candidates presented themselves and their goals if they were to be elected to members who voted. You have already seen the elected individuals who will take over after DCON installs them board so if you ever see them- wish them a congratulations!
