preferred charities: pediatric trauma program Key Club has four preferred charities that we donate to every year! These charities include: Pediatric Trauma Program, UNICEF, March of Dimes, and Children's Miracle Network. In this issue, we will provide information on two of four charities. Firstly, Pediatric Trauma Program or PTP is a program established by the Kiwanis CalNev-Ha Foundation in efforts to reduce the number of children who are killed or injured by trauma. The foundation works to provide resources and prevent pediatric trauma via community outreach as well as offering advance pediatric training for healthcare workers.
10
preferred charities: unicef Another charity that Key Club International commits and works with is UNICEF, one of the most recognizable children's organization. UNICEF works to reach out to the world's most disadvantaged children to provide a variety of necessities, some of these include: clean water, sanitation, healthcare, nutrition, emergency relief, and much more. We raise money for UNICEF through Trick or Treat boxes as well as other fundraising efforts our club plans. UNICEF and PTP both focus on children, which directly relates to Key Club International's Major Emphasis: "Children: Their Future, Our Focus"
