CLUB RECOGONITION

RECOGONITION PAGES DONE BY MR KELLY LE

MEMBER OF THE MONTH Keana Mallari is a remarkable member who has been pursuing in Key Club since her freshman year. She is now a junior and has been a very active member. She is constantly looking for service to sign up for. Although Keana is only a member, she is willing to give up so much time and dedication to the club.

OFFICER OF THE MONTH Kelly Le is in her senior year, with her busy schedule, she still has remained dedicated to the club. This year she has created a new website for our club that is easily accessible as well as informative for members to learn about our club. On top of that, Kelly is always eager to assist the board and club members whenever.

*this is recognition for the month of July

CORE VALUE: CARING Key Club has four core values: caring, character building, leadership, and inclusiveness. In this issue of the newsletter, we are focusing on the core value caring. What does it mean to be caring? "Caring to me means showing kindness to someone and creating deeper bonds with one another. Being caring can make the other person feel loved and even the little things can show how someone can be compassionate. Volunteering, random acts of kindness, donating, even waiting for your friend to tie their shoelaces shows your personality. Showing interest in someone else's well being without expecting it in returns shows how caring you can be." - Hannah Dao So next time you are with someone show some kindness, after all the Key Club motto is "Caring- Our way of Life".
